Our goal is to help you remember this season you're in with all of its genuine, unique beauty--to create tangible memories for you to have for the rest of your lives. llery that stuck out to me noted that the photos were taken by Rafferty Photo. I immediately went to their website and in reading the info about Blake and Michelle I read that Michelle was a “shameless Swiftie”. As a die hard Taylor Swift fan myself this is was hooked me in, of course. Let’s just say, Taylor Swift has never led me in the wrong direction! We ended up asking Michelle and Blake if they would be available to travel to Asheville to do our engagement photos and they were able to do that and even recommended options for where we could go to take the photos. The spot we chose was exactly what my vision was and they helped make my fiancé and I feel so comfortable that day. We instantly knew that we had to have them at our wedding! Luckily they were available that day (I probably would have had a full blown bridezilla meltdown if we had to hire someone else) and we are so happy we had them there. Michelle was able to be with the girls at our venue while we got ready so we got so many great photos of us before the wedding, and Blake was with the guys at our cabin taking photos while they got ready. Having them both available to take pictures of all of us even though we were in very different places was so great. Michelle was so great at keeping us all on our timeline and making sure that we got all the photos that I had told her we wanted. She even made a little adjustment to our timeline when she noticed we would get better sunset photos if we did that before our first dance, and those photos were STUNNING so I’m so thankful she knew to make that adjustment so seamlessly. I think one of the best parts of Michelle and Blake is that when we got all of our photos back my husband said “wow I didn’t even realize they were right there taking photos of us”. They got so many incredible photos and it didn’t feel like they were in the way or invading any space. Our wedding day gallery was even better than we could have imagined. My number one priority for our wedding was photography. Photos are my memories and I wanted to make sure we always had the best photos from our favorite day, and wow… they were stunning. They were exactly what I wanted in our wedding day photos and we honestly could not have chosen a better couple to capture the best day of our lives.

chelle and Blake are a joy to work with—they are both super super nice and responsive with any questions you have (and I had a lot). They also make you feel incredibly comfortable when they're taking photos. I was a little nervous about that because my husband and I are a little awkward and they made it sooo easy. Came with a bunch of ideas of their own, so when we were needing to shake up the pose, they had a bunch already thought of. I could not sing their praise more. They were truly a God send! They also work beautifully together. It was awesome to be a part of it.
Not to mention, their photos came out perfectly. I have heard from soooo many guests about how beautiful the photos turned out and how wonderfully the Rafferty's were able to capture our special day. When we got them back, I was wanting to stop strangers in the street just because I loved them so much!
Another thing that needs to be highlighted about these two is their timeliness. They gave us a preview THE NEXT DAY, which was amazing and super wonderful. And then the entire gallery was emailed to us only a couple weeks later. They're just rockstars; I'm telling you. BOOK THEM NOW!

While my husband and I decided we wanted to put forth a good chunk of our budget towards photography, we were still on a budget, and Rafferty Photo is in that sweet spot of being affordable but their quality (both in person and product) proves they should be much more expensive. What ultimately convinced me to go with Rafferty Photo was their consistency. I had a particular style of photography in mind and so many photographers would have glimpses of that style in their portfolio but not consistently. From our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures, each one was consistently more beautiful than the last! When I started wedding planning, I had a “dream photographer” that I knew I would never be able to use or afford, but now I have new dream photographers that I WAS able to use for our wedding! Working with Rafferty Photo was an absolute dream. From emailing, meeting for coffee, and the actual photo sessions, everything worked beautifully, and my husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
