We had an issue with one of the stylists but the owner quickly took full responsibility and amended the situation. They did a great job for hair and makeup. Angela (owner) is very professional.

Look no farther than Rah Hair for all of your wedding needs! From day one, their communication was extremely thorough and we appreciated how LGBT friendly they are (two brides). When we met the week before the wedding for hair trials, we had a blast sipping mimosas and didn't feel rushed at all. Angela let both brides-to-be try several hair styles, offering her expertise as we went. It was a great day to get to know Angela! On the day of our wedding, both bridal parties needed hair and makeup. Angela (hair) and Rachel (makeup) made an excellent team! They were friendly, quick, and very professional. Not only are they talented, but they are great humans. We loved getting to know them and look forward to returning to Rah Hair Studio for future events. The staff at RAH hair studio was absolutely wonderful to work with! They were quite accommodating when we had a hard time trying to schedule my trial as I was from out of town. And they were very flexible when I wanted to shift my day-of start time back an hour, and then later shifting it a half hour forward to get my wedding day schedule perfectly set. As for the hair/makeup stylists themselves, I worked with Angie and Michelle. I came into my trial with vague ideas and pinterest pictures and they worked with me to make the looks my own. As someone who knows very little about makeup, I was pretty nervous about not looking like myself but I left my trial very happy with my natural yet beautiful hair/makeup (the airbrush foundation is amazing!). A few months later I decided I wanted to switch up my hair - I just texted Angie and she said that was definitely something we could do. The day-of, they came to the Airbnb we had rented and setup shop in the living room. They handled the mother-of-the-bride, mother-of-the-groom, and all the bridesmaids' hair/makeup. They did a great job, were fun to have around for the morning, and everyone was very pleased with their results! They worked on schedule and actually ended up finishing ahead of time. When Michelle started my makeup she said she had gotten a new palette that matched the colors I had originally wanted so we experimented around with her new stuff until we settled on the final look. The night before the wedding, I glued some extra lace from my wedding dress onto some bobby pins and Angie was able to effortlessly incorporate those into my hair style last minute. Overall we were very happy with our experience with RAH hair studio. The only complaint I got from my bridesmaids was that it was a bit more expensive than they wanted to pay for hair and makeup but I think that just comes with the Tahoe area and the demand. Would definitely recommend for any bride, even those with very little experience with hair/makeup!

Rah Hair Studio is the best! They did the makeup for all my girls for my wedding and everyone looked beautiful. I highly recommend them for any event.

Angela and Rachel both did a fantastic job with my wife and our families at our destination wedding in Lake Tahoe last weekend. Even without a ton of direction, everyone looked perfect on the big day. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Just as the title says it, Angela wont let you down. I have really long fine hair. My main concern was my hair being able to hold a curl. I was a little skeptical when she told me not to worry. But she definitely knew what she was doing. I had comments all night that my hair looked great and was still holding up. Yea it took a whole can of hairspray I'm sure, but she listened and made it work. Thanks Angela!
