Raise The Ruth Events

I hired Ruth for day of coordination. She showed up later in the day looking already very tired. My husband was deployed for a year while a lot of the planning stages were occurring and I spent a lot of time doing the leg work before hand but as my wedding day approached I realized I would need some help to make sure my family and I could relax and enjoy the day. I sent updates to Ruth regularly and created a folder to help her stay organized with all the checks for the venues. She ended up calling me while I was getting ready with my bridesmaids stating a vendor was there and she needed the binder immediately. My venue was a mountain venue and required serious time and vehicles to drive from the cabins I was getting ready in to the venue location itself. I was already stressed and freaked out and had to rush to arrange someone to drive down to her. Ruth was fairly sweet and I liked her assistant but she just seemed like she didnt want to be there. She put out my flowers too soon in the sun and they looked wilted at the ceremony and were unevenly placed. She also left 150 chairs for my husband and I to stack up on our own the next day. I bought tons of babies breath and greenery and she didnt bother to use even a quarter of it even leaving some vases empty all together that I set out. She forgot to place the pen out for my guest book so alot of guests didn't sign. She was very laid back but I needed someone to help give more direction and planning the day of. I basically wrote the itinerary for her. She did do a good job making sure most trash was clean and lights were taken down and was willing to get and transport linens. Those were the main perks. She was only okay and I could have paid someone less for more service.

Ruth made the whole wedding process easy. I'm in the Navy and had to move out of state during the planning process. Ruth worked with me via email and text and made sure everything came together. The best thing for me was the day of the wedding. I was able to focus on the day and spending time with my family without having to worry about cleanup or vendors. My husband and I truly appreciate everything she did to help us.

Ruth was an absolute pleasure to with. We worked with her for her day of planning services. Despite most of the interaction being in the last month before the wedding, Ruth was receptive and accessible from the start. We were able to call on Ruth with any worries or ideas we wanted to run by her. She kept in touch with me periodically to check in to see if unneeded anything. When we were a month out from the wedding, Ruth was ready and willing to attend all final meetings with each of vendors. She quickly became the point of contact instead of me so that I was less stressed and could focus on other things. We made changes to the program the week of the wedding and Ruth was able to accommodate with ease. When the rehearsal day came, Ruth was calm, collected and organized and was able to provide direction and work well with the church coordinator. On the day of, Ruth and her staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make our day beautiful and flawless. My dress even ripped during the reception and she had pins ready to go to make my dress look perfect again. My family was so impressed by the way she worked with our vendors and made our program flow with ease. We loved working with Ruth and if we could do it all over again, we would pick her every time.

Ruth was absolutely amazing! We knew we needed help with decor given a barn wedding, and she pulled it off fabulously! She is very responsive over email and Skype, was on top of her stuff, and saved us so much stress and anxiety. No matter how hard the task, she'll figure out a way! She can also work with your budget, which was a concern for us. On the dya of, she was a life saver and helped everything go 100% smoothly. You'll be in great hands if you go with Ruth!
