We had our wedding at the 41 Lakefront Hotel earlier this month and everything was perfect! You can't beat the view of the lake and the hotel has everything that you need -- with t...
wo ready rooms, ceremony space (with a tent, so no need for a rain option!), amazing photo locations, patio for the cocktail hour, reception space, and hotel bar for drinks after. It was so convenient and efficient to have everything in one place. Additionally, we had a lot of guests from out of town, and it was nice to have so many restaurants, bars, and things to do within walking distance. Beside the space and location, the absolute best thing about the venue is Tim. Tim is the wedding coordinator of the century. He was so professional and helped us to plan every aspect of the wedding - from helping us select food options, setting the timeline, storing florals and desserts overnight, day-of setup, coordinating vendors, managing the ceremony, keeping everyone on schedule, quality checking all the dinner dishes, and setting up our late night pizza delivery. He coordinately everything so flawlessly and I can confidently say that he is the sole reason our wedding day went as smoothly as it did. He is a true professional and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to work with him.
This is not under Ramada anymore as an aside (now called 41 Lakefront Hotel, trademark collection by Wyndham). Our experience with them was great! The location is amazing, so muc...
h seating right along the beautiful Seneca Lake. I communicated with Tim regarding renting one of the conference rooms to get ready in. He was very helpful and responsive. They even supplied mirrors, tables, and hair/makeup chairs! My only negative, and it's minor, is my room key stopped working on two different occasions, one of which was right after our wedding haha... not ideal, but it was remedied quickly at the front desk.
Tim the wedding coordinator will make your day perfect, when he says just show up he means it! Of course you must be a type A person and hash out all the details well in advance; t...
his is how I am and why my experience was that much easier than most brides. I will say however, everything you could possibly imagine will be addressed and no details will be left out. The setting is beautiful, but itβs the little things that the Ramada did for us that really made our day so special. We never once wondered how and when something was happening, we were always well aware of what was ahead of us, but we never felt rushed. We have nothing but great things to say about the Ramada and are so glad we chose this venue for our wedding day!
We used the Ramada as a second location for our hotel guests. Krista was amazing, and made sure our guests had everything they needed. We were provided a room block and upon check...
-in our guests were handed a welcome-to-our-wedding bag (provided by us). They even made accommodations for our dog sitter and two small dogs to stay in the hotel for the weekend. A shuttle schedule was posted on the check-in desk so all our guests were on time. We have stayed at the Ramada numerous times while in Geneva and will do so again!
My wedding was September 16, 2017. We had both our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the Ramada. We worked with Tim Ruthven through the whole year of planning. He was consistently on...
top of things and followed up on all of our questions. The wedding ceremony was perfect with the water as the backdrop. During our ceremony, there was a remote control boat being used and all my guests said that Tim was sprinting over to get them to stop. He made our day go beyond smoothly! Everyone had a great time and commented that the food was delicious! Thanks Tim!!
They were easy to work with and I also hosted a breakfast the next morning there!
I blocked rooms here for a wedding block. They do 15% off at the time of booking for guest. They do not offer breakfast or have a pool. They were very difficult to get ahold of and...
never once returned a phone call or email after the room block was done. Very disappointed.
They wouldn't provide us with a hotel block for Friday or Saturday, "they are too busy"
They offered a small 10% discount, which some guests had to find cheaper on own deals/disco...

We were very pleased with the venue the day of the wedding. I planned my wedding from a distance, and did not always feel like our day was a priority...it often took a while to ge...
t responses from people, which was a bit stressful when planning from halfway across the country! Not the most accommodating venue, but it was very convenient to have both the ceremony and reception at the same place. The view was beautiful, especially during peak foliage season! Very comfortable under the tent even on such a windy day. Everyone raved about the food, from appetizers to the main course. We had champagne in the waiting room following the ceremony, but no food which was a bummer...we were starving! My mother in law did our floral arrangements and the majority of the decorating, and she had a difficult time getting help from staff. The staff were hit and miss...the wedding planner was very nice and courteous in person, bartenders were great, a few desk staff were not the nicest but we just killed them with kindness! Some guests had a difficult time getting a reservation...several had to call more than once to reserve a room as they were being told the block was sold out when it wasn't. I made a few calls myself to clear it up. Overall, we loved our wedding...the most important and amazing part was getting married and nothing else really matters in the end! A bit pricey for what you get, but a beautiful setting and fun time.
Food was amazing! But tables were set up wrong (groom's parents and bride's close family were way in the back) and some favors were thrown away. Also poor security of hotel rooms.
We had both our ceremony and reception here. The ceremony space is beautiful, right on the edge of the water, and they put up (and leave up) a tent all season. The weather was nice...
, but hot, so we had the sides opened up and the fans on. They provide a large room with mirrors for getting ready in and stock it with water and bring in Champagne while getting ready. They also provide a complimentary suite the night for the bride and groom.
Cocktail hour is right here too and they have it in the promenade, the outside patio, and opened the ballroom so our older guests could sit. The chef asked our permission to experiment with some new ideas he had and it was a huge hit.
Our reception was beautiful. They did an amazing job setting everything up and stayed on top of everything the whole day and night. The staff was so caring and bent over backwards to make sure everything was perfect. The banquet manager Denise and coordinator Jackie were amazing. I couldn't say enough nice things about them if I tried. Jackie even sent staff to Wegmans to rectify a cake issue we had, which was so much more than she had to do. Seriously, they were awesome.
The only cons were the delay in between the salad course and the main dinner course and they mixed up a few tables. But that's my fault because I changed the floor plan and number them differently then their used to accidentally, so H's parents ended up not being by the head table. Not a big deal though. And none of this is enough to make me feel any less amazed by the service and our overall day with them.
The Ramada made my wedding day amazing. Great food, great staff, very organized and a wonderful wonderful view. I recommend getting chair covers, they made the reception space lo...
ok gorgeous! Everything ran really smooth and on schedule, all of my guests raved about how much fun they had.
The wedding coordinator Jackie is fantastic! She made me feel really comfortable that everything was handled and under control. I really didn't have to worry about a thing. I highly recommend the Ramada for your Wedding Venue!
I really enjoyed staying and having my wedding here. The staff is great and accommodating to all my needs. The bar was great for before and after the wedding. The food was just li...
ke I wanted it. The were very nice and I wish I could have my wedding there again. :)
The Ramada was more than accomodating for our wedding. We had both our ceremony and reception here. The cost for what we got was well worth it, they let us make our own decisions a...
nd the view was amazing!!!! We could not be happier with how everything went.
Our only cons were the time limits - we could only stay for a certain amount of hours and not past 11:00 and our guests were not ready to leave yet. Also they took way longer to get the food out than expected and didn't offer the different flavors of cake - gave people whatever.
The staff was great especially, Teresa, the event coordinator. Everyone raved about the food and you simply cant beat the view.
first off the place is well kept and nice. However the service is poor. Our guests were charged for two room when they called for one or they were told there were no rooms availabl...
e even though we had a block of rooms. My maid of honors room was cancelled for unknown reasons. We had a breakfast the morning after and they charged us by the silverware use. Every time a person got up out of their seat they cleared the table and kept double charging us for the person. It was cleared up somewhat, but we still ended up paying for more people then there was.
The Ramada was an amazing place to hold my wedding, it accomodates up to 200 people in the main reception area and also has a beautiful wedding tent to hold your ceremony under (ra...
in or shine), it was so nice to work with people that cared about your wedding as much as you do!
