ng, they provide so much at the venue for a very reasonable price. They also now have Beer Burros you can rent during your reception and its so worth it! They also have both indoor and outdoor options so it was great to have the assurance that we could utilized the indoor area for the ceremony if it rained. Lastly its only 20min from downtown Austin so our families got to enjoy downtown while still getting to be at a ranch for our wedding. I highly recommend booking this spot for your wedding!

he venue has a lovely ceremony area and a stage that makes the perfect spot for an outdoor band. I loved the venue upon first sight and got so many compliments on it all night long! I will forever be so grateful for choosing to have The Ranch Austin as our wedding venue.

make sure the space has everything you need. We did both our ceremony and reception outside and the views are breathtaking, along with all of the beautiful lights! The venue was so clean when we arrived and even had the team there making sure the outdoor area was free of leaves and ready for our special day! The bridal room and groom’s suite were both perfect. All night long we had so many guests telling us how gorgeous the space was, not to mention everyone was obsessed with all of the Longhorns on property and checked them out during our cocktail hour. We had about 120 guests and the venue was plenty spacious even to have dinner outside with no tables on the dance floor. Couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and awesome venue!

We had a smaller wedding, and since we got married in late June we were able to move the wedding indoors due to the heat and the space was perfect for what we needed. We did simple decor to compliment the airy feel and lovely rocks, fountains, and chandeliers in the space. Also, we got some really cool wedding photos next to the longhorns!

s. This is where the magic happened. Chris, the owner of the Ranch (he provides a number to text) was able to schedule us a tour that week and from there the process was so easy! They were also so easy to work with and responsive to any novice ( I naively planned the wedding myself) questions I may have had. The venue is from a Western fairy tale. All the guests were as impressed and in love with the space. I mean, they have longhorns just hanging out to celebrate with you! The price was surprisingly affordable as well. Chris and his family truly created a beautiful place to celebrate love. This place is special. We are lucky that we found Ranch Austin.

e. 10 minutes after looking around Ranch Austin, she was hooked. The thing I personally like about this place is the owners pretty well leave you alone to just enjoy yourself out there. I never got the sense that they were overly concerned with the property and never got any long-winded instructions about the long list of things we weren't allowed to do. We even returned several more times to get a feel for where to put decorations, etc. with no issue at all. There is easy and ample parking for all attending as well which makes it so much easier for guests. The day of the wedding, I showed up, the owner shook my hand, chatted with me for a few minutes and just left us to it like the place was all ours. We received numerous compliments from many of our guests as to the beauty and perfection of the venue. You're not going to find a more outdoorsy, down-home country feel this close to the big city than Ranch Austin.

e cost was worth it but our wedding night proved it was. It was by far my favorite part of the wedding, more than the decor or the flowers. I had a ton of guests from out of town and they had such a great time taking pictures of the longhorns before the ceremony. It was also just a nice occupier while everyone was arriving. The windmill ceremony site couldn't have been better, and we lucked out with nice overcast skies so it wasn't overly sunny, which that site can be. The reception couldn't have been more beautiful with all the lights all over the trees, the outdoor bar, and the lovely bonfire. It really was perfect. I highly recommend this venue. It really was everything we could have ever hoped for, and more.

is endless. Our guests loved the longhorns running around and a few even got out of the fence right before the ceremony started and staff quickly got them together and back safely. You get the venue for up to 12 hours so leaves plenty of time for set up, take down and getting ready in the bridal suite (which is beautiful) and the groomsmen cabin. The grounds are thoroughly cleaned, sprayed for bugs and power washed before each wedding even they have back to back weddings. I would definitely recommend Ranch Austin for any couple looking for a ranch feel wedding. The venue feels far enough out away from civilization but also close enough to Downtown, hotels and restaurants!

Ranch Austin had everything I was looking for in a venue: options for an outdoor ceremony and reception, gorgeous lawn and reception spaces, and that Texas vibe with longhorns hanging out so close to the party. It was absolutely amazing and even our vendors who had never worked there before kept saying how it was one of the most beautiful venues they’ve ever seen. We are a military couple stationed on the east coast so I was nervous about planning everything so far away but Chris and Katie were always extremely accommodating and responsive whenever I asked questions and made sure that the day of went off without a hitch. Everyone LOVED the venue and we were more than pleased! Thank you so much Ranch Austin for making our wedding day perfect!

Due to weather, we ended up having to move our planned outdoor wedding indoors, which was disappointing but still worked just fine. However, although the capacity says 200, I would not recommend hosting more than ~175 guests indoors if you are also planning on having a buffet and/or a band. I think it would have started to get a bit tight if our guest count had been higher. Overall, a great experience!!

All of our guests were blown away by this beautiful venue. 100% recommend to anyone wanting a Hill Country wedding, but not wanting to drive out to Dripping Springs.

always worked with us to make sure our wedding day was perfect! The features of the property are 5 stars as well! The outdoor space worked extremely well for my wedding. Having that space available in addition to the indoor space was the highlight. We had our reception inside, since it was still a little hot out. Many of the folks that do not enjoy dancing were able to hang out outside while playing some lawn games we had set up. We got so many compliments after the wedding was over about how much everyone loved the venue and enjoyed their time there as a wedding guest. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone!

d clearly. The venue has several options for the ceremony site and can accommodate a large party. Our ceremony was by the windmill. There is already an arch there with bench seating and some flowers. Our wedding was small at about 50 people and our guests seemed to enjoy being able to utilize the indoor and the outdoor spaces. The string lights are beautiful. It's great that they are already installed as part of the outdoor venue space. The cows were a very cool touch as part of the atmosphere. I can't say enough good things. There are definitely a lot of options and privacy since they honor one event per day with several spaces to utilize during that day.

ther, the night went off without a hitch and it was absolutely perfect. I took some stars away for three really specific reasons. If I had known about these issues going into renting with them, they could have easily had 5 stars. 1. Everything is extra. You are literally paying for JUST the venue and what is on the list above. When I visited, there were a few decorations out that were about hundreds of dollars each to rent if I actually wanted them out on my wedding day. This even included space heaters, which was a little weird to me...my guests have to freeze if I can't afford to include the space heater rentals? 2. It rained ALL day on my wedding day. I was not a huge fan of the rain plan being 100% up to me. It was a little stressful having to make decisions on where to move the ceremony, how the tables would be laid out, etc on the day of my wedding. It would have been nice if the venue had an already established rain plan that they could have presented to me vs having me make the decisions. 3. Lastly, It would have been nice to have a couple of other covered options for pictures. They only have the main ballroom and then a little covered stage on the patio. With 200 guests, the ballroom clearly had to be the holding place for the guests, leaving us the stage outside for our only location for pictures. Not that anyone else will really notice, but all of our pictures-first look, wedding party, family, etc all have the same backdrop since there were no other places to take pictures. All in all, this is a wonderful venue and Chris and Katie are amazing to work with. They made sure that everything flowed despite the horrible weather all day. While it was very tight with 200 guests, they made it work and it was actually a lot more intimate that way, which we loved.
