My wedding day was a dream.  Thank you Rancho Guejito!! See you on our one year wedding anniversary!!

Nicole, the venue manager, is beyond talented at what she does, and on top of that, she’s such a genuine, kind person that makes you feel like you’ve gained a friend through the process. From touring and booking, to wine tasting with Adam (their wine is incredible!), to the wedding day itself, everything was seamless. Nicole was always so responsive to my questions, and she made us feel supported every step of the way. The venue itself is so thoughtfully designed, our hair and makeup team raved about the spacious, beautiful getting-ready suites and said the layout was absolutely perfect. On top of that, I can’t tell you how many of our vendors mentioned how much they love working with Rancho Guejito. Everything about the venue is vendor-friendly, which made the day run so smoothly. Our friends and family were blown away by the beauty of the space and how flawlessly everything came together. We owe so much of our dream wedding to Rancho Guejito, and we can’t recommend it highly enough. We’d pick this venue over and over again if we could! (We’d attach more photos if we could but we don’t have our full gallery back yet & are just so eager to tell everyone how amazing this place is!!❤️)

ried to be as proactive as possible when scheduling meetings or conversations with Nicole. However, we struggled with her lack of communication and follow-through. There were several items she mentioned were available during the tour or during the initial venue booking stages and contract that she did not provide on the wedding day (e.g., lawn games, additional wine as needed). The most disappointing part of the whole process was her lack of warmth and professionalism. Multiple times throughout the planning process, when we raised a concern or requested an accommodation that she had previously stated was provided, she responded defensively or outright dismissed our claims. Furthermore, after consulting with our coordinator, bartenders, and guests, we believe that one of the RG staff members moved boxes of our wines to Nicole’s office during the cocktail hour. When we ran out of white wine during the reception that evening and then found the missing wine in two full boxes two days later in Nicole’s office, we were left confused and frustrated at the choices made by her staff. Several of the bottles had their foil cut off, indicating that they were indeed opened by our bartenders and then ‘misplaced’ by her staff into her office during our wedding. When asked about the missing cases of wine left in her office, Nicole at first did not know that there were extra boxes of wine in her office. We had to make a separate trip out to the venue days later to pick up our missing wine. On the rehearsal day, she had assured us that we would have the whole time to practice and use the space to unload into the getting-ready spaces for the morning. Still, when she discovered that we had finished the rehearsal with about 45 minutes left and that we were then going to use our remaining time to unload and prep for tomorrow morning, she pressured us to leave the venue early so that she could go home. Eventually, with fifteen minutes left, she informed us that she would be closing the gates. We had to remind her that our contracted time was not up yet. Then, on the wedding day, in what was the most hurtful moment, Nicole was late arriving to open the gate for the wedding party. When she did arrive, she did not say a word to us, not a “good morning” or even a “happy wedding day!” Nor did she escort us to the getting-ready spaces. She simply unlocked the gate and went to her office without ever saying a word. Many friends and family members approached us independently to share experiences of being treated poorly and coldly by Nicole throughout the day, even asking if this person was okay. Her behavior leading up to and especially on the day of the wedding really was a damper on what was otherwise a beautiful venue. If you have a lot of people you trust to manage everything on the day, then you will likely be fine at this venue. If you need any type of support from the venue coordinator, I would not recommend this venue.

From the ceremony area to the cocktail hour to the reception, our guests could not believe the views and scenery. We loved getting to go up to the Eagles Nest to take photos as well - it’s such a special experience and led to some of our favorite photos. We also loved that we were able to bring in our own vendors to make the day as personal to us as possible. So many of our vendors also commented on how much they love weddings at Rancho! Truly, Rancho was hands down the best decision we could have made for our wedding venue. It helped to shape the most amazing day of our lives. It’s a day that all of our friends and family are still talking about. We cannot recommend them enough! And we cannot wait to continue to visit as part of their wine club :)

m worked tirelessly the entire day to make sure guests were warm, dry, and came up with creative ways to preserve our wishes for our day, while still keeping everyone comfortable. My husband and I were drawn to this venue because of the stunning backdrops and scenery all around the venue (mountains, greenery, etc) and we were still able to capture those views during our rainy ceremony. One of our favorite parts of the day was being driven up to the “Eagles Nest” to take stunning bride & groom portraits, which is something unique this venue has to offer! I would recommend Rancho Guejito to future friends and others who are looking for a beautiful place with an amazing team to host their big day!

om our very first tour, we knew this was the dream venue for us. Nicole, their venue manager, is seriously the best. She made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. Nicole is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions along the way. She even drove us up the mountain on our wedding day to take the most gorgeous sunset photos with our photographer! We also love their wine and enjoyed visiting the venue for fun wedding planning date nights leading up to the big day. The staff at Rancho Guejito are all so welcoming and really make you feel at home. Adam, their sommelier, did a wine tasting with us the month before our wedding to help us choose our wines. It was such a fun experience that we truly enjoyed. Rancho Guejito has so much to offer and is an amazing venue. The bridal suite is a huge plus, with the perfect amount of space for all of us to get our hair and makeup done. It even has a mini kitchen that connects to the groom's suite, which was super convenient. Our friends and family had nothing but positive things to say about the venue. We can't wait to visit the winery for years to come and relive our special day!

the drive isn't too bad, and the property is stunning, with multiple options and flexibility. The bridal suite is beautiful with so much space to get ready. Tables, chairs, and heaters included -- biggest help with budgeting! We are so lucky to have found this place through a friend who had attended a wedding at the same location. We loved having the choice to book whatever vendors we wanted and wound up using quite a few from their preferred vendor list and had great experiences across the board! I would highly recommend Rancho Guejito for your wedding - I also love that since we live in the area we can visit on weekends and get great use of our wine club membership.

Our dream venue was one that took advantage of the beautiful San Diego weather, had scenic views, allowed us to include our Corgi, and most importantly would let us bring in our own vendors to make our wedding day exactly how we envisioned it. We fell in love with how we could celebrate our entire day in this beautiful location as it had dedicated spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Not to mention having the bridal and grooms suites onsite made the day stress free. The bridal suite is very spacious and has plenty of vanities for hair and makeup for all the women. The venue coordinator Nicole is incredible to work with. She made venue coordination a breeze, was very responsive to emails, and took care of us on our big day. When purchasing the wine from the venue for our wedding, our Sommelier Adam hosted us for a fantastic wine tasting and really helped us pick the perfect wines to pair with our appetizers and dinner. Lastly, the entire staff at Rancho Guejito was friendly and super helpful throughout all of our planning visits and our big day. When looking for a venue to get married at, I highly recommend putting Rancho Guejito at the top of your list!

Needless to say when we stumbled upon Rancho Guejito, it was the biggest breath of fresh air! We left finally feeling confident that our wedding day would turn out just how we had imagined it! We are huge nature and wine lovers and this place captured that and more! The property transports you to a private, picturesque vineyard. The reception site at night will take your breath away… The property is STUNNING, the team is INCREDIBLE, and Nicole is a dream to work with. Her organized system of communication made us feel at ease throughout our entire wedding planning process. She is a true professional and an absolute gift to the wedding industry! it was no surprise that with her guidance and expertise, our wedding day was executed perfectly. Nicole and her team worked behind the scenes while my husband and I were able to be present with our family. They even offered us last minute heaters when there was a sudden shift in the weather! We had many out of town guests who still rave about the venue today and they have even made online purchases from the winery after our wedding! Walking away from our wedding venue was bittersweet but it brings us so much joy to know we can visit any weekend! Though our paths with Nicole and her team may never cross again, we feel so grateful and blessed that we found each other. We continue to cherish our beautiful photos and relive our favorite day over and over again. We brought in live music, churros, our own alcohol, our own caterer, and our own rentals so our vision was really able to come to life!! At first I was nervous about the 10pm cutoff but most outdoor venues in San Diego also comply with this rule and after actually going through a wedding as the bride I was exhausted by 10pm lol! The office manager was very easy to work with throughout the entire process. The vendor recommendations were awesome as well as I found a lot of great people that helped bring the party to life. My wedding had a total of 240 people which made me nervous but we fit comfortably in the space and there was room for more. Overall great experience and great views!

Wedding planning is so stressful as it is to remember to think of EVERYTHING. it came with tons of questions from me which Nicole was quick and happy to answer. The day of the wedding, right before the ceremony, we realized we forgot to get Kahlua for the espresso martinis on our signature cocktails list. The reception space was exactly what we envisioned for our day, with the string lights and vineyards all around it made for a magical evening. The bridal and groom suites were perfect, the bridal suite had multiple vanity stations and lots of natural light and mirrors which made it perfect for getting ready, and the groom’s suite was the perfect party room pre-ceremony for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. What really made everything come together was Nicole. She’s an absolute angel—so thoughtful and dedicated. Nicole and her team truly care about making your special day perfect! If you’re looking for the perfect wedding venue with an exceptional team, I highly recommend Rancho Guejito. They’ll make your day unforgettable!

Our parents encouraged us to look at many other venues just to make sure and without a doubt we couldn't stop comparing everything to Rancho. To start, Nicole was amazing! We instantly clicked with her, the most friendly and welcoming face, truly the best person for the job. She was so thorough, detailed, quick to respond to any and every question we had, and was so great at encouraging us to make the wedding our own which was important to us. The venue is huge and absolutely stunning, with sooooo many different photo opportunities on the property. A year and a half later we're still having people bring up how beautiful the venue was. To sum up, truly couldn't have asked for a prettier/better venue. Aside from how stunning and perfect the venue is, truly, working with Nicole was also what sold us on this place, the best of the BEST. Side note, it's so fun having a venue you can come back to! We loved getting to go wine tasting there for our anniversary. It is an incredibly fun and family/dog friendly place to enjoy your afternoons and reminisce on your perfect day :)

. The venue is heaven on earth and I had the best day ever. It was nice to be able to bring in all of our own vendors and also chose from a top tier list provided by Nicole. They provide tables and chairs and can rent out many other things that you may need. The wine is top tier, there was no need to serve any other kind of alcohol. I love the view from the Ceremony lawn. And walking to the reception lawn is quick and gorgeous. You really feel like you get the destination wedding vibe without going too far. I am so sad that this day is over, I cannot wait to visit RG again!

ally enjoyed the outdoor venue and the scenery with the mountains and vineyards. We picked the hottest day of the year to get married it seemed like so try to stay aware from the summer/early fall months since there is limited shade. Unfortunately, since it was so hot outside even the bridal room was warm and at times my wedding party and myself were uncomfortable in the room getting ready for the ceremony. I do have to say the wine is very good though! We had a lovely wine tasting and selected wines to be available during the wedding and it was really nice to have that option. The communication between Nicole and myself was very good as well. I would have very specific questions/concerns and she would always get back to me quickly and I appreciated this a ton. The only downside to this venue was they did not have an ice machine so we were responsible for bringing ice for the entire guest list. Costco ended up being the best deal, however, supplying ice for your wedding is not something that is super fun to stress about close to your wedding day. My favorite things about this venue and our wedding was the natural scenery provided so much greenery and a beautiful backdrop that we did not need to spend extra money on decorations/flowers. We had very minimal flowers and decorations, but you could not notice the difference since the vineyard was so beautiful. Helped us save money too! If you are looking for a venue that won't break your bank account yet still have the photos and experience of your dreams you should book with Rancho Guejito!

our specific date. It was great because we had already organised all of our own vendors and we needed to find a place where we could bring in everything we had organised and paid deposits for. The venue is amazing, the bridal suite where we got ready was beautiful with backlit mirrors, couches, and even a little kitchenette… There were multiple areas that we could choose to have the reception and the ceremony, which made it so much more special. One of my prerequisites was that the place look magical ie. Have a lot of fairy lights and Rancho Guejito surely does have that in all of the areas, even including the little archways walking from the ceremony/cocktail hour area to the reception area through the vineyard. Very magical. It was really great as well because we had a large number of guests, and therefore had to be able to have the space and enough tables and chairs to allow for comfort. Being that our wedding was in November, it was a little bit chilly, and thankfully they had a lot of heaters. Also, another amazing thing is that there are multiple areas where you can go and do first look and or private vows and get some really amazing photographs. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone that is considering using it.

You are surrounded by gorgeous greenery and beautiful mountains. The north lawn was perfect for our ceremony and the south lawn was a dream for our reception of 141 guests. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking. So many amazing views that it would be impossible to take a "bad" photo anywhere!! More than anything, Jonathan and his team are some of the nicest people in the biz. It really meant a lot for us to be able to trust our vendors, and I can honestly say that we did wholeheartedly. Thank you Rancho Guejito for making our wedding a dream come true! <3

So we went on a Sunday and Irena took us around and answered all of our questions. It was raining and foggy but the venue still looked gorgeous! We spent hours there tasting the wine and talking with the girls who work there. We felt that this venue had everything we had been searching for! It's a beautiful, green setting which is what I wanted and they are flexible with vendors so we can really customize our wedding exactly how we want. And the wine is pretty great too. We booked it that next week and are so excited to get into the next phase of planning! Thank you Irena and staff for helping us find our perfect place and I can't wait till March 2020!!!
