We booked Rancho Moonrise expecting a quiet, remote wedding venue. During our site visit, a neighboring property played extremely loud amplified music from early afternoon until af...
ter midnight, making it impossible to sleep on site or enjoy our time there. We later learned the venue has no ability to control or prevent this and cannot guarantee it wouldn’t happen during a wedding weekend. This risk was never disclosed to us before booking. If quiet and remoteness are important to you, I strongly recommend asking very specific questions and getting guarantees in writing. If the level of neighboring sound happened on our wedding weekend it would have easily ruined the entire event. I would never recommend this venue to a fellow bride or my own network in the event rental space.

Your guests can sleep over which is *incredible* and oh so much fun. We ate dinner outside under the lights and danced away on the covered pavilion. We had a cigar roller in the Neon Moon bar and multiple lounges set up all over the property. We did the ceremony in the corral which was intimate and amazing, then cocktail hour at the pool after. Guests were raving about the property. I highly recommend this venue!!! Its the perfect gem in Austin, where all your friends can have an incredibly fun weekend before and after the wedding!

Our friends and family were in awe of the gorgeous natural surroundings, which added a magical touch to our event. It truly felt like a slice of paradise.
While the barn is not air-conditioned, Ashley and Monet were upfront about this months before the event. We appreciated their transparency and were able to plan accordingly, ensuring everyone remained comfortable throughout the night.
