Rand-Bryan House

The Rand-Bryan house was a perfect choice for us in deciding on a venue for our wedding. We were looking for a more intimate and green space that had beautiful options both outside and inside. We actually had some spotty rain during the day of and decided to move the ceremony inside while keeping the reception outside under the covered tent. Martha and Audrey helped us transition inside smoothly and efficiently, keeping our nerves down and keeping us on schedule. It definitely helps that the inside facilities at Rand-Bryan are just as beautiful as the outside landscape. Despite the complications and last minute change-ups, we were incredibly happy with how everything turned out! Highly recommend considering Rand-Bryan for your special day.

We moved to North Carolina in March 2020 and were married at Rand Bryan House June 19, 2021. We knew no one here to get referrals from and we’re planning our wedding during the pandemic. Which added additional challenges of course. We visited 3 other venues recommended from the wedding websites prior to visiting here. When we met with Martha and her daughter, we just knew that was the place for us. We wanted an elegant, yet simple ceremony and reception (we are not big ballroom type of people). Her property is so beautiful and we could not say enough great things about Martha. She answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, and believe me I had a lot of them being a first time bride. She met with us on several occasions to help us walk through what our perfect day would look like. Martha is gracious, kind, patient, personable and very experienced. Since we were new to North Carolina, she gave us recommendations for our caterer, rental company, bartending service, florist and Photographer. All of these vendors we picked through her recommendations and we’re more than pleased with. Everything about our day went perfect and we owe this to her! She jumped in on every aspect about the day from the start of planning, all the way through the cleanup after the reception. There was never a doubt that we knew we picked the right place and would recommend her to anyone. We will forever be grateful to Martha for making our special day so perfect.

The original date for the wedding was May 2020. However, due to COVID that date was postponed. (Something not all venues will allow) The reception was then rescheduled for October 2020. We didn't know it at the time when we booked the venue how lucky we were to have a place that would offer such flexibility to accommodate guests during COVID. (The wedding ceremony did not take place at the Rand Bryan House, but it would have been very easy to do- we had the reception only there.) We were able to place tables indoors and outdoors allowing everyone to spread out. (We had a rain plan as well and the large covered porch can offer great protection in case of rain) The front porch was also great for a sweetheart table! It very spacious for rain or shine! The large room with all the windows was a great place for the ceremonial dances because guests could line up outside at a safe distance and see everything. There were people inside too, it just offered a really nice way for people to be spread out and safe. In fact after the wedding I had several guests comment on how safe they felt during the gathering. The grounds at Rand Bryan House are very large and we had an arbor set up in the side yard for photos. That way the wedding party was always on site. Ms. Martha was very responsive and easy to work with. I will say that if you put a deposit down and your event is cancelled due to COVID she will work very hard to come up with another date for you. (Check you contract to make sure that is still the policy) With that being said please make sure that you understand if your event can't accommodate the number of people you intended to have attend you do not get a refund. But Ms. Martha did help us locate another date. Check around because there are several venues that will not do that. Other venues will not let you postpone and you could be stuck having very few people at your event (Whatever the state mandate for COVID is at the time.) I will say the Ms. Martha does follow COVID state mandates to the T. So whatever is going on with COVID at the time the expectation is that it is followed at your event at Rand Bryan House. I would recommend any event at the Rand Bryan House it really does offer great flexibility in these crazy times of COVID. I cannot tell you how many people I had tell me what a beautiful venue it was. The pictures are amazing too.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Rand Bryan House. The grounds and the home are warm and welcoming. It offered the rustic, romantic, elegance we were looking for. One huge advantage the RBH had for us over other vendors is the option for a beautiful ceremony indoors or out. The owner, Martha, is also very responsive and helpful and made the planning process much easier. She was also very flexible as the demands of Covid changed our plans numerous times. Martha and Audrey helped create a very special and memorable ceremony that neither Covid or rain could dampen! We would definitely recommend the Rand Bryan House!

I had a wonderful experience with the Rand Bryan House. They were so helpful with any questions I had, and they took time to meet me at the site whenever I needed to. My wedding day was so stress free and more than I could imagine!! These ladies are some of the BEST to work with!!

The venue gave me the wedding of my dreams. They allowed me to use the entire facility, inside and outside. I had 200+ guest and they were accommodating to all. Ms. Martha was very helpful with providing me information about vendors and how to obtain the one day license. She was always available and answered my many questions.

This venue was everything we expected and more. Beautiful land for gorgeous pictures and ceremony, Martha was beyond helpful and very welcoming. Martha assisted throughout the entire planning process and was very efficient. My friends and family loved the lawn where the ceremony and cocktail hour were held as well as the inside reception and porch bar. Everything was absolutely perfect!

We would absolutely recommend the Rand-Bryan House for your wedding or event location. This was the first location I found online in the area when researching online, but looked at a couple of different options (everyone said to look at least a few places) before deciding to go visit this particular location in person. I am so glad we visited and decided to have our wedding at this venue. It is so beautiful and has plenty of charm. The natural beauty outside and multiple spaces you could hold the ceremony and reception were a plus and Martha, the owner, sealed the deal for us as she was incredibly helpful from day one through the conclusion of the reception. Her and her daughter, Audrey, were professional, welcoming, helpful, and truly a pleasure to work with. You can not beat the value you get with this location. We got so lucky with a venue that went above and beyond throughout the planning, rehearsal, and wedding day process as they made sure to assist with decorating, directing, and welcoming guests and vendors. We had set our eyes on The Rand-Bryan House many years ago. Never imagined the day that our dream venue would actually come true. We hosted an intimate wedding reception for about 80 people and (about 60 showed) It was perfect! Magical and a romantic atmosphere! Our family and friends loved the breathtaking grounds. The kids enjoyed running around the lawns outside being kids, taking in the night sky and the string lights surrounding the windows with the beautiful view. Guests enjoyed the wrap around porch and the rocking chairs. Mrs. Martha (the owner) was amazing and a pleasure to work with. We were able to stay within our budget because she allowed us much flexibility. We were able to make it very personal to us, by being able to choose our own caterer and other vendors. Unlike other venues that are more restrictive. It was a perfect fall day. Writing this makes me emotional, remembering how beautiful of a day it was! Everything was breathtaking! We received so many compliments, during and after the wedding day. We are so happy our family and friends enjoyed themselves! Ms. Martha and her staff were so kind and always willing to help with anything they could before, during and after the date. Thank you Ms. Martha for allowing us to cherish these memories at your beautiful family home! I hosted my sister's bridal brunch at the Rand-Bryan House and we couldn't have been more pleased. The venue is gorgeous and charming and the grounds beautiful. Martha and Audrey were easy to work with and so helpful in making sure the bride and her guest enjoyed this special day. The Rand- Bryan House will be the first call for our next big event.

I have nothing but good things to say about Rand-Bryan House. My husband and I had the most incredible time at the venue, and an amazing experience with the staff of this venue. Martha made our day easy and was always there to talk or email when we had questions or changes. Without a doubt would recommend this space for ANY event, but especially if you are looking for a beautiful Carolina wedding!

We are so happy we chose the Rand-Bryan House for our wedding celebration. It was the perfect venue for our special day! From the initial talks when we were visiting multiple venues, to the actual day, Martha was excellent in providing us with all the necessary information and helping to make sure our day went off without a hitch. We had an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception so that we could take advantage of the many, many beautiful locations this venue has to offer. We were able to choose our own vendors, and Martha also had multiple “extras” available that we were able to take advantage of for decorating and fun during the reception. The staff at Rand-Bryan were all very detail-oriented and they truly cared about making sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. We took pictures all over the property and they turned out so amazing! This is an absolutely stunning venue with wonderful staff, and my husband and I believe it should be on your list to visit and see for yourself! You will not be disappointed!

We looked at several venues before choosing the Rand-Bryan house, but ended up being won over by it's combination of rustic charm and classy elegance. I'm so glad that we chose Rand-Bryan. In the end, not only did the venue live up to all it promised aesthetically, but the connections and advice of Martha (Manager/Owner) proved invaluable. She was able to connect us with several vendors who were lovely and knew the space well, and allowed us to plan our unforgettable day and evening easily. My niece recently was married at the Rand-Bryan House. I served as her wedding planner/wedding director. The folks at the Rand-Bryan House were incredibly helpful from providing suggestions of vendors to helping with last minute items. The Rand-Bryan House provided a beautiful setting and was everything my niece had dreamed of. We can’t thank Martha and Audrey enough for all they did to make the day so special!!

We were so happy with the rand bryan house. I only wanted to look at one venue that fit what I wanted: century home with southern charm that had beautiful outdoor space. I knew when we visited that it was the perfect venue. Martha was great from the beginning and helped with a quick response anytime we had a question. We were allowed to have our dog in the wedding and when the rain came, she and her daughter wiped down the dancefloor so we could use it. Never would have used another venue! I wish I could live in that house!

As a newlywed, I’d like to speak on behalf of someone who has been through the process of planning, deciding, dreaming, paying and loving every minute of being engaged. More importantly, I loved my wedding because of the vendors we chose and the people we had behind us! My husband and I wanted a venue that reflected our lifestyle/interests, allowed us to use our own vendors and would accommodate 115 guests. We are beyond grateful we chose The Rand-Bryan House and was able to work with the owner, Martha, for planning and executing our wedding. From day one Martha was punctual and responded quickly to our emails. She was upfront with all the expectations that came along renting the home, including allowing us nearly free-reign to decorate inside and outside. This meant we were able to turn the house into our dream wedding! Martha’s team helped coordinate and navigate the planning process alongside other vendors, including our catering, bartending, day-of coordinating, DJ and photography. The whole process was seamless! I am beyond happy with having chosen The Rand-Bryan House. I can't express how grateful we are with Rand Bryan House, Martha and her staff. To begin, the site is beautiful. I chose it in the August a bit concerned what it would look like in mid-November when we wanted to get married. However, the foliage and grounds look absolutely amazing all year around. The evergreens combined with the amazing views made it look great in all our wedding pictures. We were going to go to Benson lake park to take our pictures, but it was so beautiful on the grounds we decided to stay there. Also, the inside of the home turns out great in photographs due the warm color decor and amazing windows that let in great natural lighting. It was super easy for my guest to arrive and really felt like a private oasis away from all the noise of the city. Parking is great and the whole site is yours for the day. If you want that perfect outdoor wedding, and chic country house feel, it’s perfect! I also found the site stunned me on my own wedding day. We put just a few decorations up with white table cloths and flowers centerpieces, the day of every scene looked even better than I had imaged. We decided to get married fast, got engaged in August and scheduled for November 18th. Martha not only answered all our really necessary questions fast, but was always available when something came up and even helped us find great vendors at the last minute. Her and her husband were such a joy to be around, and added a special family feel to our experience. We wanted our special day to feel like a big family gathering, and having their encouragement, support and true joy with us during our wedding day was an extra gift I didn’t expect. Payment is easy and straight forward. Be prepared to use a cashier’s check as they don’t receive credit cards or personal checks. Overall it was a perfect place for us. We love it so much, that every time drive by we have great memories. We bought our first Christmas tree from there Christmas lot, because we are so attached to the place now!

The venue was the perfect place to celebrate our union. Martha and her team allowed us to personalize the event to our tastes. Everyone had a blast and I would recommend the Rand-Bryan House to anyone wishing to put on events of any type.

I grew up in California, so I was excited to have my wedding in a traditional southern setting. The venue is gorgeous! Scenic landscapes, gorgeous indoor event space, and beautiful wrap-around porch. I always wanted my wedding in a naturally beautiful place, and this was it! Martha was a joy to work with. So helpful! She has wonderful suggestions about how to execute your wedding dreams. It stormed the day of my wedding leaving the grass soaked. We decided to move the outdoor ceremony inside. It was still absolutely gorgeous and everyone was comfortable, cool, and dry! The venue is a 15 minute drive from downtown Raleigh. Convenient for an afterparty! We had a beautiful day filled with love, joy, and fun. Thank you!

My fiance and I checked out several different vendors in the Raleigh/Garner area. We were looking for a place that was a good fit for our vision and the vibe we wanted our guests to experience. The Rand-Bryan nailed everything on our checklist. Martha was fantastic. The house is beautiful. The property is pristine. The infrastructure was more than adequate. The price was right. Easy decision! We had an outdoor ceremony with an indoor/outdoor reception, all located in the same location. Our guests loved the place and we were so happy with the way our wedding turned out. Martha has a stunning venue and made our wedding day stress free. She helped coordinate vendors the day of our wedding and was very responsive and helpful leading up to our wedding day. The Rand Bryan house was the perfect choice for our wedding! Martha (the owner) is so friendly and professional, and adds a personal touch to the venue as it was her childhood home. She took a genuine interest in our plans and details, and it is clear that she enjoys all the details that each person brings to every event at her venue. The house is beautiful and meticulously kept indoors and out. Our day turned out to be cold, but there was no problem switching our plans and holding both the ceremony and reception inside. The sunroom was gorgeous even on a cloudy day, and provided wonderful light for photographs. We could not have been more pleased!

Martha assisted me with planning and booking the venue. She was really helpful and always gave timely responses when I needed it. I had a Christmas wedding here and the venue was already decorated and just beautiful. The venue had the tables set up for us when we arrived so set up was pretty easy. I think the venue was absolutely beautiful and not overly expensive. I would recommend to anyone looking to marry in the Garner area.

Great experience here! This a BEAUTIFUL venue and allows you to customize your wedding the way you would like. Martha and her husband were such pleasures to work with, very flexible, and truly wants to see every bride happy!

My husband and I are so happy to have found Rand-Bryan House. From the first meeting with Martha, we already knew that we want our wedding at her venue. She was wonderful, easy to work with and was very helpful.

I had a pretty good experience with this venue. Martha was very helpful and I love that she is flexible with decor, food, and beverage options, etc. Her husband Richard was very rude to my mother and other family members. He turned on the sprinklers, getting the table cloths wet, and refused to turn them off unless someone "gave him a good reason". Martha is wonderful to work with, but I think she should keep her husband away from clients. There is no excuse to talk to paying clients the way he did. Other than him, I had a pleasant experience for my wedding day here. I would recommend them, as long as you stay aware that Richard will be lurking around on the wedding day with a bad attitude.

We are so happy we had our wedding here. The grounds are beautiful, and the house itself is just welcoming and elegant. Even better, Martha was very helpful in every aspect of our big day and even before then. We were made to feel like the most important couple and as if we were the only ones that mattered. We suggest that everyone use Rand-Bryan for their wedding!

First, Martha is GREAT. Our event was a rehearsal dinner ~ 50 guests. Great venue with indoor and outdoor space. Indoor space included a private sitting room where the bride and groom presented gifts to wedding party, a large foyer and entry, and ball room which easily sat 50 with additional ~1,000 sq. ft. of dance area. Buffet (cater) was set in a large room that adjoined the outdoor decks AND ball room! Now to the outside!!! Wrap around porch and shaded lawns allowed guests to spread out (we had GREAT weather). Rocking chairs included!! Parking is extensive and "formal" below house as you drive up. All catering vehicles park behind house so pictures are very nice. One more note about Martha! She recommended Caffe' Luna as the caterer. Great choice and they do many functions at the property and thus know the set up. We were thrilled!!

We had our wedding at the Rand-Bryan house this year. The main thing that sold us on the house other than its beauty was Martha. Martha worked with us and gave great advice. She allowed us to see the house a couple of times to see how we wanted things set up. She even came to the rehearsal to see if we needed anything. She also gave a helping hand with out hesitation. If I could do it all over again, I would do the Rand-Bryan house again! The house is beautiful, simple, with southern charm!

The Rand-Bryan House and property are absolutely beautiful! We had our ceremony outside under a tent (rain was threatening), cocktail hour in the garden and on the porch, and reception inside. The windows allowed all the lush greenery to actually become part of our decor and it matched perfectly! The house is perfect. Martha was very helpful and accommodating.

We had our wedding and reception here and it is the PERFECT location for an indoor/outdoor celebration. The atmosphere and the grounds are simply breathtaking and there is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the festivities. I would not change a thing for our wedding.

We recently had our wedding at the Rand-Bryan House and would definitely recommend it! Martha, the owner, was great to work with and always accommodating if we needed to come by or do a site visit with a vendor. They keep the house and the grounds very clean and beautifully manicured, but it's not fussy or formal feeling, which is exactly what we wanted. There's also lots of flexibility for different spaces to use (both indoor and outdoor) for the ceremony, cocktails, reception, and photos. We also liked that we could use any vendors we wanted for catering, etc. They are comparably priced to other similar venues especially for the amount of time and space you get. Overall we had a great experience!

I loved having our wedding at this gorgeous house. It was a beautiful spring day, so we had both the ceremony and the reception outdoors. Throughout the entire planning process, Martha was responsive and helpful. She allowed us to have complete creative control of our day and didn't require any special vendors. The house is beautiful and the flowers and trees made for gorgeous photos. It was the perfect spot for an outdoor spring wedding!

She offers many ideas from the different weddings she has seen and allows you to make the place your own.
