Randi was THE MOST amazing photographer to work with. She and her assistant photographer were so professional from start to finish. I really appreciated how well Randi got to know us before our big day. She was very organized and not only sent out a detailed questionnaire, but also spent time to chat with me so that she could really get the sense of who my then fiancé and I were, and also what we wanted on our big day. Throughout the entire wedding day, Randi and her assistant were in the background taking pictures, very candid ones, which I loved. It was almost as if she wasn’t there and I could focus on getting ready. During the ceremony it was the same thing, she moved in and out of the crowd without being distracting and captured so many beautiful moments from our ceremony! She even handled our large families well! Especially since I know Randi prefers smaller weddings/Elopements she made it seem easy! When she took us out into the desert so my husband and I could get our pictures, she made us feel so comfortable. My husband was nervous as he hates getting his picture taken, but Randi was able to put him at ease and have him go with the flow! Looking back at my pictures I cry seeing how ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL they are and how precious those moments were for my husband and I. Like most people, I can be so picky about pictures of me, but I can honestly say out of Randi’s finished product, I couldn’t find one I disliked. She is TALENTED. Out of all of the photographers I researched, Randi was a no brainer for me. She exceeded all other in uniqueness, quality and of course talent. She somehow manages to capture and convey the joy two people are feeling in all of her pictures. I strongly recommend Randi to anyone searching for a wedding photographer. Randi was absolutely awesome from the moment I reached out to her for my wedding photography. She was professional, yet incredibly sweet and personal. She was continually responsive to my many questions and willing to work with my schedule and budget. Our first shoot was a very intimate engagement shoot. She helped my husband and I to feel comfortable and ourselves--so the pictures turned out incredible and natural seeming! The wedding day was also incredible and I could not have wanted any other photographer by our side. Through all the hectic moments, Randi was calm and positive and reminded us how romantic and special the day is for us. She was taking photos every second, looking for the best lighting and background and what would fit us best. I also purchased the option for a 2nd photographer which I definitely think was worth the money. The 2nd photographer was also perfectly picked by Randi and was also very sweet and talented. I just wanted my wedding day to be romantic, effortless and tons of fun, and honestly the photographers I chose were a HUGE part of making that happen. Randi has great style, that's why I reached out to her in the first place, but she's also a really awesome gal and so that is why I will continue to recommend her. Thnx!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Engagement: THESE ARE MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PHOTOS. I get so many compliments on our engagement photos. We felt that Randi knew exactly what we wanted, almost like she was in our heads. I don't think I was too clear with my description of what I wanted, yet she nailed it. She was able to get us so many different emotions, positions, and backdrops. She even managed to get priceless pictures of our dogs. Also, she isn't stingy with the number of photos. She isn't going to cap you at a certain number of shots. She kept shooting until we were content and gave us so many photos. Randi helped me appreciate the emotion a picture can evoke through her pictures. Also, Randi's caring personality is proven through her pre-engagement shoot gift. She mailed us a little forest/mountain gift set, so we could prep for our shoot. Even though we took photos on 29F weather in June with snow, I would totally do it again and again if Randi is the one shooting. Wedding: I would rate my wedding as okay, only because Randi saved it. It was a scorching 100F at 5pm and 90F at 9pm, with a slew of wedding day mishaps. I had family messing up our day-of schedule, so we lost time and daylight for our couple pictures. BUT, I don't know how she did it, Randi managed to get so many photos of us that we LOVE. I was expecting only about 5 good ones because of the time limit, but I got at good amount. I got so many that I can't choose which ones to blow up onto a canvas. A few of my favorite photos are ones she captured of my family. One of my absolute favorites is of my dad. It is a picture of my dad walking me down the aisle and looking at my husband. I can see all the love and emotion he had that moment/day. I love scrolling through my online wedding album because I get to re-live the day, and only the good/best things are there. The guests loved it and I wanted to see it through their lens. Randi's second photographer, Sara Freitag, was amazing as well. They worked so well together and it was so much fun to shoot with both of them. Lastly, Randi is SUPER generous with her time. We had booked her for a full day shoot, but she definitely went overtime. I forget the exact amount of time but definitely over 12 hours. She wanted to make sure I got all the photos I wanted, so she even strapped on her camera AFTER she put it away in order to get a last minute photo with my ring bearer. She is ridiculously talented and has a big heart for her clients. You can definitely tell she cares about her clients and wants everything for them. MISC: Randi is so talented and flexible. I was a bit difficult to work with because I started medical school and moved to Virginia right before the wedding. Yet she was able to fit me into her busy schedule to get another shoot as a gift for my husband, AND she completed that album within a month because she knew how much of a time crunch I was in. It was insane how much time she spent on me as a client and I definitely believe she is worth every penny. People say your wedding photos are what you need to splurge on. I was ready to splurge, but I feel that she delivered above and beyond what I paid. I am so sad and excited that she is moving to Oahu because it will be a little bit more difficult to hire her for other shoots in the future or refer her to my friends. BUT just another excuse to go to Hawaii, maybe a one year anniversary shoot? Perhaps the volcanoes on Big Island ;P BOOK RANDI! (truncated-see Yelp/FB for full review)

Before I was even engaged I knew I wanted Randi as my wedding photographer. I have been a fan of her work for years. That's why she was the first vendor we booked when we got engaged. I emailed her asking for a quote. She met me for coffee the next week and we discussed everything. From the theme &style of the wedding; to having a second shooter. She was extremely helpful in planning the early stages of our wedding with sending me different venues and ideas for the special day!. She quoted us a price that I could not refuse since it was incredibly lower than I expected and how often does a girl get her favorite photographer to do their wedding. ALSOOOO the price included a free engagement session. Which wasnt just in some park. We drove up to Palomar Mountain- which is where we got engaged by the way- And it was spectacular. We asked her if we could do some pictures in the Carol in my husbands car - 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee - and she totally went with it. Those pictures are some of my hubbys favorite. Which by the way -- some men are really reasonable when it comes to taking pictures. Some are not. My husband is the latter. And Randi handled him like a champ!. She asked him to tell stories of us and it kinda got him a little bit more comfortable in front of camera. Even though we were covered in a cloud of mosquitoes, we had alot of fun. Randi was such a great emotional support as well. Because we ended postponing our wedding for another 6 months. And she made our new date a priority. Even a few weeks out she was checking in with me and sending me a "Wedding Day Questionnaire" which was super helpful logistically. It just asked you the bride, about which pictures are important to you. Also it ask specifically what family groupings you want. Which was helpful in communicating to my family. The day of - Randi was STELLAR!! She showed up an hour earlier than I asked her to be and she like made the venue owner show her around and scope out all the best spots. She even found spots the venue has never used before which we really special to us. She was the reason why we where ahead of schedule that day. SHE WORKS FANTASTICALLY FAST! She maneuvered our bridal party & family expertly. That way we had tons of time for our couple shoot that was on the freaking mountain top she found with the most perfect lighting. Also we all got to travel on go-karts to the spot that was really fun and kinda of adventurous. Which is exactly what you wanna be on your wedding day, right?!! She stayed through the entire reception which was awesome because she captured amazing night photography of our guests doing their best dance moves!. She even sent us a sneak peak of the wedding album the next day and that we cherished until she sent us the full wedding album. WHICH I DIDNT STOP LOOKING AT!! It been three months later and I still find myself staring at them. THEY ARE BETTER THAN WHAT WE COULD HAVE IMAGINED!! My husbands a teacher and whenever he shows his high school students our pictures - They ask if we are models? Which makes me laugh. She uses this picture gallery website which is very user friendly. That even our grandparents figured it out. BOTTOM LINE!! You want Randi capturing these beautiful moments on your special day! You wont regret having her on your team! Actually you need someone like Randi on your team of vendors. Cause she will always be rooting not only for your wedding day but also for your marriage!

If you are looking for an amazing photographer then Randi is your person! Not only is she an incredible photographer, she is an incredible individual! From the beginning, Randi was so responsive and answered any questions we had with so much thought and detail and and offered any help, advice, insight she could give! Shooting with her was so much fun too! She's very down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable. We shot our elopement in Yosemite and Randi capture so much magic during our session - all those in-between moments too, when you're not really thinking about anything, then BAM! - she takes a picture and when you see it you're like WOW! We love how everything turned out and are so thankful to have had Randi there with us to capture our special day! Thank you Randi!!
