R & R Sound and Lighting is absolutely wonderful to work with. We use Ryan and his team exclusively for our non-profit fundraisers. He brings such a great energy to our events, knows the current trends and listens to what each event energy needs. Highly recommend R & R for all of your event needs.

Ryan is a joy to work with! We have partnered with him for Night to Shine, a prom experience for people with special needs ages 14 and up. He is easy to communicate with, reliable, dependable, and good at what he does! He makes sure we have the fun, family-friendly atmosphere we're looking for!

Ryan and Brad were absolutely outstanding! We booked very early with Ryan who always was available to answer any questions and put us at ease. His contract was very easy to navigate and understand and he was very helpful when it came to making our decisions for the package that would fit us best. Ryan and Brad showed up early to set up our venue and made us so comfortable and at ease the day of. Our monogram was beautiful, sound and lighting was perfect, and the photo booth was such a hit! Everyone was very complimentary of how high tech and fun it was! The music was perfect for our vibe and Brad did a great job MC’ing and getting our guests excited! We cannot say enough great things about them, I would recommend them for any special event, they went above and beyond our expectations! Thank you again for making our wedding day a day to remember!

I attended a wedding that Ryan DJ-ed. Ryan was great (excellent music, fun lighting, & solid attention to detail), but unfortunately I had an issue with one of his sub-contractors. When I reached out to Ryan about my concerns, he responded almost immediately with an apology & a highly satisfactory resolution. 10/10 would recommend.

R&R executed our vision perfectly, made planning with them so incredibly easy. They also did our photo booth and it was so much fun! They then surprised us with photos that they had taken during the day and they are high quality! Can not recommend them enough! R&R takes care of all your needs!

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about R&R sound and lighting!! Everything was perfect, down to the planning and making sure I got what I wanted, to the photo booth, to announcing our entrance, everything was exactly as I wanted it. My husband and I were so happy we hired R&R Sound for our wedding! When we first met Ryan, he was super informational about his packages and services. Ryan provided a lot we were looking for: sound, lighting, and photo booth. Before the wedding, Ryan sent us a detailed planning form and met with us to talk about it. On the day, Ryan played excellent music based on what we put on the planning form and had our guests out on the dance floor! Highly recommend!!

R&R Sound and Lighting is well worth the investment for your wedding! Ryan is great to work with and he (and his assistant) were essential in making sure our reception went on without a hitch. Ryan was incredibly responsive throughout the wedding planning process and worked with us to make sure he was tailoring his service to our needs. What surprised me the most is how helpful and supportive they were during the reception itself. From the moment I walked into the venue, Ryan and his assistant make sure everything stayed on track which really allowed me to enjoy the moment. You won't regret this choice!

We booked Ryan for our ceremony and reception. Our ceremony had a lot of moving parts (and included music that is definitely not in the Top 40) and he executed it flawlessly. For the reception, our guests were ages 1 to 97 and Ryan kept everyone dancing all night long! He even helped me get food so I wouldn't spill all over my dress. He is so friendly, professional, and great at his job!

I literally do not know where to even begin to explain how amazing this DJ is. First of all, the first time I met Ryan was more than a year before my wedding and I thought I knew what direction I wanted to go in then. So easy to talk to, easy to get ahold of and very very very responsive. I ended up adding them for an extra hour, monogram and extra hour photo booth ( which I’ll get into later). Fast forward to 2 weeks before the wedding. I reach out to Ryan because I didn’t have a wedding coordinator and didn’t know where to start on times, when to do events etc. He sends like an 8 page booklet of everything you could think of that you would or want to incorporate in your reception. If you don’t want to do them you don’t have to if you plan on doing them then you just number what order you want them to be in. It helps you brainstorm everything from an order where you want your wedding party to come in what song what song for Cake cutting, what song for your first dance, bouquet toss, what song for the first song of the night etc….. IT MADE IT SO MUCH LESS STRESSFUL FOR ME!!!! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, I texted Ryan when we were on our way to the reception and he was outside waiting to greet us when we pulled in. We walked in reception and Ryan and other Ryan (MC, also awesome) we’re there to make sure they had the order right and the names correct. FLAWLESS grand entrance. Jumped right into speeches and dinner like I wanted. Ryan (DJ) carried my plate for me so I didn’t have to worry. They checked on me ALL NIGHT LONG to make sure I didn’t need anything. They keep you on schedule with how you wanted your events so you don’t skip anything you wanted… Now, let’s talk about this photo booth. Freaking amazing. There was a line ALL NIGHT LONG. The coolest mirror thing ever, latest technology, pictures sent to your phone, high quality picture printed with the frame that matches your invite ( which you send a pic to Ryan after you order them and then he sends it to his designer for you to pick which one you like). We got SO MANY COMPLEMENTS!! Plus the photo album was great to look at the next day since we were so busy and didn’t get to enjoy it as much as our guests did which is okay! People were dancing all night long. I’m not joking they made our wedding the best night ever, we will never forget. I would hire them every single time for anything you would possibly need a DJ for. LOOK PAST THE MONEY. THEY ARE SO WORTH IT YOU WILL REGRET NOT BOOKING WITH THEM!!! I love y’all so much and thank you again so much my friends! ❤️

Ryan is incredible! We were set to be married in 2020 but, like so many couples, were forced to postpone. Ryan was easy going, quick to respond, and handled each change to the plan seamlessly! He is incredibly personable and great at what he does. I have never seen so many people on the dance floor for so long! We received more compliments about the music and the DJ/MC then I could have imagined! The MC for our event (also named Ryan) did a great job and checking in, keeping things on time, and making any last minute announcements. We could not have found a better person for the job and will be recommending R&R Sound to all of our friends!

R&R hands down are absolutely amazing to work with! They made our wedding so much fun and did an amazing job with the ceremony music as well as the reception! DJ Ryan and M.C. Sean did a phenomenal job with the sound and lighting at our wedding!! DJ Ryan knows how to read the crowd and he kept our guests dancing throughout the night! DJ Ryan really takes the time to get to know his clients prior to their wedding and was professional throughout the wedding planning process.

Ryan was extremely helpful in the wedding planning process, especially with having a wedding during COVID. He was always able to chat on the phone or reply to my emails quickly. On our wedding day, he did a great job picking up on the music our guests wanted, and our dance floor was amazingly packed all night! We can not thank him enough!

What can I say? Ryan could not have been any cooler! He was the perfect DJ for our Ceremony and Reception. He knew exactly what to play and when to play it and he lit the room PERFECT! With all of the craziness we've encountered in 2020, he was able to adapt and make everything work. Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him and we're very thankful we chose him. My wife already mentioned that we need to hire him for our housewarming party, because he was that good. Bottom line, if you're deciding on a DJ for your wedding, just go with R&R. It's not only a good choice, but the best choice!

Well worth the money spent! Ryan went above and beyond on our wedding day! They got drinks for us throughout the night and made sure we had everything we needed, they did a better job coordinating than the actual coordinator at the venue. They moved the events along so that we could actually enjoy our night. The set up they had was amazing, we loved the ambiance lighting around the room. Everyone was dancing all the way to the end of the reception! What was also awesome was my reception had two separate rooms and they were able to accommodate for both rooms with a smaller set up for the speeches. The photo mirror was everyone’s favorite thing at the wedding and always had a line. I would recommend Ryan for anyone’s wedding!

If I could give 10 stars I would! I will recommend R&R Sound & Lighting to everyone from now on. Absolutely the most professional, accommodating, fun, and talented DJ we have ever seen. Our wedding was downsized to 1/4 of its original size because of the pandemic, but Ryan was flexible with the last minute changes and made our small event a total blast until the very end. We also rented the photo mirror, which was a hit and truly made the party for everyone! Overall, these guys kept the party moving, played awesome music, and flawlessly read the room, which made our wedding something that everyone will remember for years to come. You will absolutely not regret going with them!

We were so glad we booked R&R Sound and lighting. I had gone through lots of research to find a DJ and decided to book them. I am so glad I did!!! They were so amazing and went above and beyond to do their job and make everything go smoothly as possible. They even helped us with making our plates for dinner and grabbing us drinks from the bartender. He answered any questions we had and reassured us plenty of times. He is very knowledgeable about the DJ business and his equipment he used was state of the art. On the wedding day, Ryan and Ryan helped guide my husband and me throughout the day. They triple checked with us on the song choices and names of our bridal party before announcing. If anything came up on the wedding day, Ryan came to us to ensure everything was OK with any changes. Dancing was the best part of the wedding night and everyone was dancing up until the end. Ryan played songs that my husband and I requested and it was a blast! The lighting was also very well done and it really set the mood for our wedding night. We had a monogram of our names projected as well & it was tastefully done! Ryan also was incredible in making sure my husband and I had drinks and food in our hands! Ryan and his team were SO amazing for our wedding. We were so happy and pleased with how everything turned out. If you want THE best DJ for your money, it’s this guy right here. He has the best equipment and the photo booth is AMAZING! It’s touch screen, digital and high tech! It prints the photos out in seconds and it does not take up much space. Our guests loved it!! We told him what we wanted for our wedding and what songs and genres we had in mind and it couldn’t have been more perfect. He hit it right on! Ryan was in communication from early in the planning process all the way up to the final details in the days before the wedding, ensuring that everything would go smoothly the day of. He provided the tech for the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour, and made sure that the music we provided came through clearly and on track with the proceedings. Ryan was our DJ for our wedding at the Ann Arbor City Club. We honestly could not have asked for anyone better. The music and lights were incredible and everything was extremely personalized at such a fair price. All our friends were raving about how good the music was and that put a huge smile on our faces. The DJ's DJ; take it from me, let Ryan do his thing. This was the single best decision for my wedding, hands down. Being a DJ myself, I know how these events can be. I sent him a zip file of me and my (now) wife's favorite music. Between that, his incredibly high end line array sound equipment and crowd reading abilities, this made it the best night to remember. You can't beat superior fire power and music selection. He is an owner operator, with that you get way better quality than a service that just signs you up with "someone who is available" for your night. Seriously, base your wedding date on his availability over a venue, I promise you won't regret it.

We loved R & R Sound and Lighting! Ryan was so attentive to details, professional, organised, gave great suggestions, easy to reach, quick to respond and was so easy to work with! He and Shaun (MC) kept the dance floor full with their interactive style and ability to read the room. We had a tricky room with it being a massive space with high ceilings and they made sure the sound quality was amazing and it was! They also were so helpful with making sure I made it down the aisle at just the right time with the music. The lighting aspect was top notch and creating a great atmosphere. My husband and I were also so impressed with the fact that both Ryan and Shaun made sure to help us get food during our strolling dinner, which was totally unexpected and we loved that they did that! I highly recommend R & R Sound and Lighting!!

Ryan, Sean and his team were exceptional! Sean does a great drop being the MC and keeping the party going. He kept the wedding party on track and organized! Ryan does an amazing job at reading the room and finding the best songs for the moment. The sound quality of the music was awesome! The uplighting that he did looked absolutely fantastic. They were such a pleasure to work with! We really felt that they were working their hardest to make sure that everyone at the wedding was having a blast. We 10/10 recommend! R&R was the absolute best, start to finish! Ryan was great to work with - he has great ideas, he was easy to chat with and was so organized. We had some last minute sound issues (not relating to them) and Ryan just got it fixed without a second thought. We got married on NYE and had the best time. Ryan suggested a unique entrance for the reception and it was amazing! When my husband and I entered our entire wedding was on the dance floor waiting for us, many people told us it was the best entrance they had ever seen. They read the room beautifully and kept the dance floor packed all night. I can’t say enough good things, we are so happy we hired them!

I can’t even say enough good things about them!! The lighting was absolutely stunning...I was blown away. Ryan made us feel like the most important people that entire night. He was willing to do anything for us and so easy to work with. He has a very sophisticated set up and brought our reception to life. Even the up lights around the room changed colors. The dance floor was extremely packed all night, in the best way possible!! Everyone was LOVING it! He was able to read the crowd and adapt accordingly. The photo booth was awesome, people were having a great time. Everything was better than we could have ever hoped for!

He informed us on how his state-of-the-art equipment would make for a very special wedding event -- and he was great! He showed us several packages that he offered and was flexible in providing the lighting, music and monogram that were just right for the reception room and for our guests. He gave good advice on the timing for the reception events and he and Sean did the introductions, announcements and were fabulous in keeping everything on track. The bride and groom love to dance and the variety and sequence of music made for a very fun evening dancing with their guests. R&R Sound and Lighting was absolutely worth every penny! Ryan and Shaun did an amazing job from the music choices, the lighting and the announcements. Our venue looked completely different when Ryan and Shaun put life and excitement into it! I’ve been to a couple weddings where the DJ rushes the announcements, the cake cutting and the first dance but ours was nothing like that. Everything flowed nicely and me as a bride, was not worried about a thing which was great. They knew exactly what songs to play at the beginning of the wedding, the middle and the end. I had a guest at my wedding who was getting married a month after me wishing they would have booked R&R Sound and Lighting for their wedding too!

Ryan & Sean were great! We couldn’t have chose a better DJ for our wedding. Ryan was always so helpful with the many questions that we had and was quick with his response to us. The music at the wedding was awesome and there was never a dull moment on the dance floor. At one point, Sean even brought me another drink because he saw that I didn’t have one! They both did whatever they could to ensure that we didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding! We would 100% recommend them to anyone!

Everything about our wedding went perfectly, and I attribute that to the venue, Prestige Banquet Hall, and our DJ, R&R Sound and Lighting. The dance floor was full, all night long. They did an amazing job! We got in all the formal dances at exactly the right time. They even did the sound for our ceremony. On top if that, Ryan and his staff made the plate for me and my wife and brought it to the head table. If we ever need a DJ again for any event, R&R will be the first and only call we make.

Ryan was amazing! He and his team were professional, personable and worked with my husband and I to create a perfect wedding day. They were flexible and accommodating and really worked to bring out the theme of our day: Wizard of Oz and it was perfect! They could really read our guests and they played what got them moving and always accommodated requests. They are a MUST HAVE for your wedding!!

You need to book them now! I met Ryan at a bridal show and immediately knew I needed them for our wedding! Their sound equipment and lighting is top of the line. Their prices were better than the other DJ services that we talked to (all the other DJs wanted to charge extra for every little thing which really added up). Even though, their equipment and pricing was great, it was Ryan's personality that won us over. When we met with Ryan, we felt like we were meeting up with a friend for coffee. He was super organized, outgoing, professional, and seemed to understand exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. During the planning process, he was quick to respond to any questions or concerns and made me feel like I had one less thing to worry about. I love the fact that Ryan has Sean with him to MC. They were a great team! Sean was hilarious and knew how to get the party started. Both Ryan and Sean offered to serve us our food, get us drinks, and anything else that we may have needed. We had many people compliment how awesome the lighting was and how amazing our DJs were. Our dance floor was packed all night. Many of our friends have told us how much fun our wedding was and we owe it all to R&R! Music was one of the areas we cared most about and they definitely exceeded our expectations. I would choose them over and over again in a heart beat! They have excellent reviews for a reason.

Ryan gave us the wedding soundtrack of our dreams. He kept guests on their feet and dancing all night long, offering up a wide array of genres/moods. He truly knows how to read a crowd! His curation through each stage of our wedding (from the ceremony through the reception) was impeccable and exactly what we were looking for. In addition to the wedding itself, Ryan provided timely, helpful service during our year and a half of wedding planning. We couldn't have imagined our day without him!

Ryan did an amazing job with the lighting at our reception! Ryan is amazing! He’s professional, flexible, and really knows how to light up a room! It made a huge difference to have lighting at our reception. We also added a monogram which was super cool! He custom programmed our lights to match our theme and they changed throughout the evening which is something no one else could offer us. It made for an amazing experience and pictures. R&R Sound and Lighting came recommended by our photographer, and I can totally see why! Ryan was so easy to work with! We've been to many weddings and never had a DJ that kept the dance floor so packed! Leading up to the big day, Ryan was completely organized and met with us to walk through the events, timeline and what kind of music we wanted - and they totally stuck to it! Ryan and Shawn are both complete gentlemen, Ryan walked me (Bride) to the different food stations, made my plate and walked me back to my seat - another thing I have never seen before! R&R was also flexible, unfortunately we had to go with our backup plan due to rain, however, when it stopped raining, my husband and I really wanted to go to the rooftop - we were able to work out a plan right then and there and Ryan made it happen. If there's any advice I can offer couples, it is to invest in vendors who will help the most important day of your life, run so smoothly, look no further - R&R Sound and Lighting will do exactly that.

Ryan & Sean were great. We got tons of compliments from the quality of the sound, and on the excellent music selection. This is the only Wedding DJ in the history of Wedding DJ's that was able to slide from Frank Sinatra to Diplo without dropping a beat. The lighting was also awesome. Working with them was a breeze, they knew exactly how everything should work out. Ryan even made my wife's plate of food, if you can believe that! They kept the party moving, helped with the sequence of events, and they were the official bridal party wranglers of the evening. Best part, we didn't need to ask them, they just did it and helped out.

DJ Ryan was great to work with from start to finish. EXTREMELY responsive and organized, and helped us plan the flow of events for the night. Song selection throughout the evening was excellent, as was the sound. We got the package with uplighting and projection, which was really nice. Overall, I would highly recommend R&R for your wedding! A++++

Ryan and his MC are professionals with a great eye for detail. Ryan and his MC were prompt with set-up and breakdown for the wedding. Ryan coordinated music with the wedding coordinators based on timeline of events throughout the wedding. The up-lighting, intelli-lights, and sound system were of the highest quality. The up-lighting and intelli-lights were an awesome effect within the ballroom. My aunt sung our wedding song and the quality of sound was superb. R&R Sound and Lighting DJ Service has concert quality speakers and outstanding professionalism. We would hire R&R Sound and Lighting DJ Service for future events.

Ryan is the most detail oriented person I have ever met and he made my wife feel comfortable and cared for throughout the entire wedding planning process. While it was super difficult to get in contact with most of our other vendors, Ryan was always responsive whether it was through email, text or phone calls. We only had to meet a handful of times to go over details and what not but you would’ve thought we planned for years based on the reception they put on. From start to finish, they were hands down the most professional vendor we dealt with. Emily and I were able to see our reception hall before they let all the guests in and we were absolutely blown away by the lights and colors of the room provided by R&R Sound and Lighting. Then as soon as Shaun grabbed the mic, the party started. From our grand entrance to the final song, they had the party bumping and the dance floor packed. We had set the order of events before the wedding and they kept us on track the entire night. They did such a great job tracking us down to keep us updated and they were by far the biggest hit of the night! I can’t believe we ever thought about using a different vendor.
