One of the best decisions we ever made by choosing Blake and his team to be our videographer! From day one they made the process simple and easy! Blake and his assistant, Matt, were such a pleasure to work with and definitely had us laughing throughout the day and night! Their work is amazing and I am looking forward to watching our video throughout the years! Thanks again for the great work!

Cannot thank Ransom Wedding Films enough for their amazing work!! I was blown away by my wedding highlight video by not just the quality, but also the attention to detail, capturing of all the big moments, and above all just being such a pleasure to work with. Nothing better than just being able to be yourself all day and let Blake and his crew work their magic! Most of the time you don't even know they were there! As a bride not having any extra stress added on to your big day is really crucial! They come highly recommended from me and my entire bridal party, most of whom are from the St. Louis area and/or out of state! My wedding video had all the music I requested and captured the day perfectly!

While planning our wedding, my now husband was against having a videographer. He just didn't feel like this would be something we should be spending money on. However, I felt like this was a very important aspect. Everyone I talked to who was married and did not have a videographer said that this was their biggest regret. I found Blake through another vendor who had recommended him. He was laid-back & easy to work with. When we first saw our short wedding clip, we were so excited! Everyone who had watched it told us how amazing it was! We are both so happy that we went with Blake & it turned out to be a great experience!

Videography was the one splurge I really wanted for my wedding. I am so glad we did it!! Blake and his assistant were so great the entire day. We didn't even know they were there at times. Other times, Blake would give just a little direction because he knew what would look be good for the video. Within a week of the wedding we had our highlight reel and it was so fantastic! I am beyond happy and still watch it almost every day! Now we can't wait for the longer 'movie' to be ready! I would definitely recommend Ransom Wedding Films. Pictures only go so far; seeing it in movie form is absolutely priceless!

Blake is professional, easy to work with, and goes above and beyond to capture every special moment throughout the day. We just received our feature film and were beyond amazed at his creativity and talent. Simply put, hire Blake. He won't let you down! Also, for any men out there who are looking to have their proposal professionally recorded, Blake did an amazing job with ours. Blake secretly had a microphone on my husband along with hidden cameras so that the moment was a complete surprise for me. He was hidden behind some trees and didn't come out until my husband gave him the signal. I had no idea Blake was creating a video for us so that we could forever remember our beautiful proposal. It was also wonderful to be able to show family and friends. Without any hesitation, I recommend Blake Ransom.

Blake was so great to work with! We were able to easily schedule a meeting beforehand to discuss what our expectations were. He was really flexible and let us make a custom package we were pleased with. We filled out a questionnaire to help get to know us better and he definitely used it to help make our video amazing! He was very professional and was able to capture every moment perfectly without interfering with the normal flow of our big day! It did take a while to get our initial dvds due to it getting lost in the mail but he hand delivered us new copies and even went through and edited the video for us when we requested to add in a few more highlights. I was a little hesitant to spend another huge amount of money for our wedding, because let's face it, money is probably the biggest issue most couples have. However, two of my best friends got married over the summer and each had a videographer. The wedding day goes so fast, and there are a lot of things you miss as the bride. So when my friends got their videos back, I just knew I had to have one! I wrote Blake of Ransom Wedding Films and he sent me all the information and assured me, I would not regret spending the money. He was 100% right. It was the best money I spent throughout my whole wedding. I absolutely love my videos. I watch them all the time and it brings me so much happiness to see how happy I was that day and have these memories with all my loved ones forever. Blake's style of shooting and editing is beyond perfection. He also is open to making changes and asked me if there is anything he could do/change. I did not need him to b/c his edits are perfection in my opinion. If you are hesitant if you will be happy, don't be, the answer is yes, without a doubt. The biggest advice I can give anyone on their wedding day is to get a videographer to capture the best day of your life! I would do it over again in a heart beat!

Blake shot video for our wedding and I don't think we could have found a better vendor anywhere in the country. His editing, vision and enthusiasm was above and beyond what I could have expected from anyone. I met Blake Ransom and his lovely wife at a bridal expo in Champaign. From all the way across the room, I was captivated by their highlight reel they presented on a large projector screen. It looked like a trailer for a movie--It was beautiful (and I almost cried!) Anyway, I was lucky to have met them that day because our wedding film was nothing short of awesome. We were married in Peoria, Illinois on August 2nd, so I'm happy that Blake was willing to travel to capture our special day. It was pretty hot outside and my bridesmaids were running late, but when we arrived at the church, Blake was more than patient with us and had such a calming presence for which I am very grateful. It's obvious that Blake has a passion for what he does--he values his clients and goes above and beyond expectations. When we saw our highlight reel from our wedding film, just days after our ceremony, I was truly amazed--I couldn't stop watching. Our full length film turned out beautifully (editing, music, etc), and we are so happy that we chose Ransom Wedding Films to share our day with us. These memories really are priceless. From the beginning of wedding planning, I knew that I absolutely wanted to have a videographer to capture our wedding day. Some family members and friends didn't see the same value in it as I did. After seeing Blake's work from our wedding, they have been blown away and cannot stop complementing about it! Blake was great to work with from the beginning before the wedding and on our big day. He followed us before the ceremony while we were getting our pictures taken, he set everything up prior to the ceremony, and continued with us to our reception. We received our highlight video within days and were able to watch it when we were on our honeymoon. It was so well put together that we couldn't stop replaying it. Our families and friends are still talking about and sharing it with others. This is definitely something we will always cherish. We also received a video of our ceremony and events throughout the day. It was like reliving the day which is every bride's dream. It even captured things that I had missed throughout the day. Let me just say -- Ransom Wedding Films is AMAZING. The Ransoms are a dynamic duo! Ever since day 1 when I first contacted them inquiring about their services, they have been very, very easy to work with. They are always on top of their game and don't disappoint. Within 36 hours after my wedding was over, I had my highlight film posted onto my Facebook page. Not only was it better than I ever hoped, but people all over town (some I don't even know!) are STILL talking about it. I have had some people come up to me telling me they've watched it 10+ times because they loved it so much and couldn't get enough. The Ransoms are very easy-going, genuinely kind-hearted people. They understand the stresses of your wedding day, yet keep everything they do simple and worry-free. The quality of their films are exceptional and worth every.single.penny. Initially, videography was something my husband and I put on our cut list if our budget got too thin. After working with Blake and his team, I now know what a mistake that would have been!! I would encourage any bride to put videography and specifically Ransom Wedding Films at the top of their list. Don't cut it...you will regret it! Blake was super easy to work with from start to finish. He was high energy from the moment he showed up at hair appointments to mid reception. And he works fast...the highlight reel was completed and posted within 1-2 days after our wedding!!! Our full length video is amazing and truly captured the timeline and emotions of the day! I love being able to watch our ceremony, our first dance as Mr & Mrs, and all the day's details that sometimes get missed.
