I can’t say enough about Raquel, she did a beautiful job on myself and my bridal party. We live states away and it was so easy to trust her throughout this process. The day of the...
wedding, she was SO calm and happy (which i appreciated) , very communicative, open to our ideas and suggestions and was an overall joy to work with. Highly recommend! 💜💕
Raquel is phenomenal. I really can't say enough positive things about my experience with Raquel and would absolutely recommend her without question. She's calm, intuitive, fun, hel...
pful, authoritative, and just a really good vibe. In addition, she's incredibly talented, professional, and responsive.
Raquel was one of the few artists that was willing to work with me on a more unconventional trial schedule (bc we live out of state and had a destination wedding), and just felt more down to earth than some other artists I contacted. She really listened to what I said, gave great input when asked, and the result was ultimately A M A Z I N G. Raquel really made me feel like my prettiest self (the Goldilocks of makeup bc it's *just right*), and I was so so happy to know that I was in her hands and didn't need to stress about how I looked on the day of my wedding. My make up and hair lasted all night (6+ hours), and I was VERY active during my wedding.
I think, no matter who you are, Raquel will make you feel at ease and bring your vision to life...or maybe even help you define it if you're difficult and ambiguous like I was. She's got a lot of emotional intelligence and feels sort of like an "every gal's gal".
We used hair services for me, 3 bridesmaids, and my MIL. We used make up services for me, my little sister, and 1 bridesmaid.
Immaculate experience. 25/10.
Raquel and her team did an amazing job on my hair/makeup for our wedding this August!
I had literally 10 bridesmaids, an officiant who was one of our best friends, my mom, my now ...
mother-in-law and myself as part of the wedding makeup getting ready party. Not an easy request!
Raquel and her team arrived right on schedule and truly all of us were blown away by the results. So many of my friends were saying how they have been unhappy with professional hair/makeup at other weddings they have been in and couldn't believe the level of detail/perfection that went into their hair/makeup.
Raquel/team were warm, friendly and fit right in with the group. I felt calm the whole time getting ready and tbh I was expecting to feel stress/pressure about the HMU timeline throughout the day.
Highly recommend Raquel!
Raquel was wonderful and allowed me to book the day prior to my wedding due to my original stylist and MUA canceling because of weather. She had no problem fitting me and my bridal...
party/family in and driving through a winter storm in order to do so. She was flexible with all different hair/makeup requests and delivered beautiful work! Raquel, thank you for saving the day, I so appreciate you!!
I contacted Raquel for hair/makeup for an elopement ceremony we had planned. First of all, Raquel was super quick to respond and made the booking process incredibly easy. She trave...
led all the way to the mountains for my special day and was on time. I immediately felt at ease because she is so friendly and makes you feel completely comfortable about the whole process. I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup so the process can be quite stressful for me sometimes. Raquel worked with me on exactly what I wanted and I absolutely loved how everything turned out. She made me look elegant yet glamorous and I loved everything about the look. It could not have been more perfect!
When I started looking planning my wedding I knew I HAD TO HAVE a hair and Make Up artist, but I had no idea where to even begin!! I reached out to a couple of places, but the init...
ial thing that drew me to Raquel was how responsive she was! After filling out the initial survey (of what was needed/expected) I received a call the very next day along with a follow up email. That initial communication was all it took for me to book a trial hair and makeup appointment. She did such a wonderful job that I knew I had to have her do my hair and makeup for my big day! She (and an assistant) ended up doing the hair and makeup for myself, 3 bridesmaids and two mothers. They were both incredibly professional, and did an amazing job!! Also, Raquel is very concious of time management and we worked together prior to the wedding to come up with a timeline that would work with our photo schedule. I would highly recomment Raquel for your wedding.... you won't be disappointed!
Raquel was really flexible and easy to communicate with me as my wedding plans kept changing due to COVID-19. She did my hair/make up along with my mothers for my wedding and did a...
n amazing job. She listened to what we wanted and my hair came out stunning. She was super willing to travel and has so much expertise with wedding hair/make up I really trusted her. Highly recommend Raquel for your wedding!!
Raquel did hair and makeup for me, two bridesmaids, and my mom. I was blown away at my trial with Raquel but my hair and makeup somehow was even better the day of our wedding. It w...
as supposed to be record-breaking hot, I cried multiple times, got cake on my face, and still looked great at the end of the day. She made each of us ladies feel fabulous and we had so much fun getting ready with her. I received endless compliments throughout the day about my hair and makeup. I would recommend her to anyone looking for hair or makeup for an upcoming wedding or event.
Raquel did on-site hair and makeup for my private elopement. I was nervous during the trial run as I don't usually wear makeup and I didn't want to not look like myself. I am als...
o the type of person that will say I love my haircut and then go cry in the car all the way home! But Raquel made it super easy to make suggestions and adjustments (although few were needed; she totally understood my vision). She was fabulous & the end product was amazing.
Raquel was the greatest hair and make-up artist! She is incredibly organized and professional, as well as friendly and affordable! I decided not to do a trial , but we communicated...
via email before my wedding and she was able to flawlessly execute the perfect hair and make-up based on photos that I had saved on pinterest. On the day of my wedding she was prompt and prepared to make me look amazing. Payment was quick and easy through email invoicing which made my appointment stress free! I would HIGHLY recommend Raquel to anyone who needs to glam up for any event!
As a mother of the Groom, this was my first experience with this type of service. I was pleasantly surprised, Raquel was very professional from the time of booking, she sent me ad...
ditional information as far as how to prepare for the session. She asked what I outcome I expected with both hair and makeup, and since I was "rookie" she explained some of the language like "camera ready" makeup. At no time did I feel uncomfortable, and I was very nervous before hand. I would highly recommend Raquel Chacon Beauty for anyone needing help with that very special event in your life.
Raquel did a wonderful job on my daughter's hair and makeup for her wedding day, as well as the hair and makeup she did for the maid of honor. She was 100% worth the money! I wou...
ld definitely use her again and I highly recommend her. We received many compliments on how beautiful my daughter's (Bride's) hair looked. Furthermore, she was very flexible and easy to work with.
Raquel was fantastic to work with for my recent wedding! She showed up literally on the dot when she said she would be there. She is highly experienced so breaks down the timeline ...
for you of when you need to start etc. I went for the hair and airbrush makeup (airbrush makeup was such a good choice, lasted all night!). I had so many compliments on both and my groom melted at the sight of me!
Not only is Raquel talented, she truly cares. She is great to laugh with ans hang out with as you spend precious hours before your big day getting ready. Her tools are clean, high end, and she gives you previews along the way in case there is something you want to change. I was happy with everything she did! At one point I did ask for her to give me a specific detail on my eyes, then changed my mind, and she was super patient and accommodating.
I will say, my wedding was done on a tight budget but I was willing to spend what was necessary for great hair and makeup because it lasts in photographs and it is how you show up on your big day. While Raquel is not "cheap" to work with, the value is certainly there. This is especially true when you consider how much she communicates and how great she is about promptly getting back to you leading up to your appointment.
So pleased we worked together and would highly recommend for anyone who wants to look fantastic and have a lasting look for an important event!
I really can't say enough about Raquel! She exceeded what I thought was even possible for my wedding hair and makeup - my hair looked so much better than my inspiration photo that ...
I showed her from pinterest - I received endless complements! She also made sure we were on time, and had a calming presence the entire morning (especially when it was needed!). Highly highly recommended!
