Our late August wedding at Raspberry Hill Bed & Breakfast was an absolute dream come true! Having our entire wedding party stay with us right at the venue made everything so easy and low-stress. It was wonderful to have everything in one place (including rehearsal dinner).
Brad was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. We opted for the largest wedding package, and it was perfect for our needs. We'd honestly love to come back just to relive the experience! For future couples planning a Saturday wedding: make sure to factor in enough cleanup time since checkout is the next day. We wholeheartedly recommend Raspberry Hill to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Ames!

We had our wedding weekend at raspberry hill and it was simply - PERFECT. Brad was very patient with all of our questions leading up to the weekend and helped make the day truly wonderful. Having wedding party sleep and get ready on site was incredibly convenient. Bar service and parking attendance through the venue was great and they collaborated well with all of our other vendors. There are many hotels within a few miles of the venue and quick access to almost all of Ames. 10/10 would recommend getting married here.

Review Summary
This AI-generated summary is a snapshot of this vendor's ratings and feedback.
Raspberry Hill B&B is a picturesque wedding venue with lovely gardens, on-site lodging, and flexible one-day or weekend rentals. Hosts are responsive and provide bar service, parking attendants, and smooth vendor coordination. It’s reasonably priced and ideal for a garden/fairytale aesthetic, though it requires hands-on setup and no day-of coordinator. Plan extra checkout/cleanup time after a Saturday wedding.

Beautiful venue! We had our wedding in June 2026, and the photos are gorgeous with all the greenery and the house in the background. We reserved the house Friday night and Saturday...
day which was perfect to serve as the rehearsal dinner venue and to allow time to finish setting up decorations before the wedding started. But you can reserve just one day or a whole weekend! Brad was great to work with and very knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable for other comparable venues. Be sure to ask for quotes on alcohol when comparing against other venues. Their priced reasonably, but it's something we wished we had considered when comparing venues. They don't have a day of coordinator, and I would strongly recommend hiring one. It's a perfect venue if you want the garden aesthetic and don't mind putting in some work to do set up/tear down yourselves. That said, the venue is already so beautiful, we didn't need most of the decor we brought! It will be a bit more hands on than a full service venue, but we thought the aesthetic was worth the work. Highly recommend!

What an absolutely beautiful venue!! We're so glad we found this gem. The B&B had plenty of room for the whole party to stay/get ready (the bridal suite is amazing!) and is itself ...
the perfect backdrop for any fairytale/fantasy or whimsical/rustic/boho themed outdoor wedding (ours was a mix of all of the above). The shelter is also way more spacious than you think and had plenty of space for our 130-150 guests, food, and dancing. The whole event felt remote thanks to the scenic woods - you'd hardly believe it's right outside of Ames, but most of our guests only had to travel 5-10 minutes from their hotels!
And a big thanks to Brad! He always responded to my questions in a timely manner, worked out times for us to visit whenever we asked, and was very accommodating and helpful on our wedding day. Prices are super reasonable considering you get the full B&B for 1-2 nights. Definitely don't pass this venue up!

communicative and accommodating and fun! We fit 15 adults no problem. The house is gorgeous and exploring the grounds was wonderful. Our photographer couldn’t get over how many picture perfect locations there were. We will plan to book for our anniversaries as well, it’s too good to only book once!
