We had our wedding weekend at raspberry hill and it was simply - PERFECT. Brad was very patient with all of our questions leading up to the weekend and helped make the day truly wonderful. Having wedding party sleep and get ready on site was incredibly convenient. Bar service and parking attendance through the venue was great and they collaborated well with all of our other vendors. There are many hotels within a few miles of the venue and quick access to almost all of Ames. 10/10 would recommend getting married here.

Beautiful venue! We had our wedding in June 2026, and the photos are gorgeous with all the greenery and the house in the background. We reserved the house Friday night and Saturday day which was perfect to serve as the rehearsal dinner venue and to allow time to finish setting up decorations before the wedding started. But you can reserve just one day or a whole weekend! Brad was great to work with and very knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable for other comparable venues. Be sure to ask for quotes on alcohol when comparing against other venues. Their priced reasonably, but it's something we wished we had considered when comparing venues. They don't have a day of coordinator, and I would strongly recommend hiring one. It's a perfect venue if you want the garden aesthetic and don't mind putting in some work to do set up/tear down yourselves. That said, the venue is already so beautiful, we didn't need most of the decor we brought! It will be a bit more hands on than a full service venue, but we thought the aesthetic was worth the work. Highly recommend!

For starters, the Back Lawn allows you to say "I do" against the very best of nature. Imagine making an entrance by canoeing across the pond! But if you'd rather host the ceremony under the pavilion, that can be arranged as well. Either way, your photographer will have a field day capturing you and your loved ones. On another note, Raspberry Hill Bed & Breakfast also has a couple of well-equipped wedding suites that allows you to get ready for the day in style and comfort.
Overall, feel free to invite up to 300 guests for your big day. Fifteen of your nearest and dearest can even stay back for a night or two courtesy of the onsite lodging. There are different packages at Raspberry Hill Bed & Breakfast that you can sort through and choose from. You can even request a tour to see for yourself just how your dream wedding will come to life.

The house and grounds provide a peaceful and romantic environment to share the experience with your partner and guests. I recommend staying the entire weekend to make the event stress free. Definitely recommend checking them out!

the perfect backdrop for any fairytale/fantasy or whimsical/rustic/boho themed outdoor wedding (ours was a mix of all of the above). The shelter is also way more spacious than you think and had plenty of space for our 130-150 guests, food, and dancing. The whole event felt remote thanks to the scenic woods - you'd hardly believe it's right outside of Ames, but most of our guests only had to travel 5-10 minutes from their hotels!
And a big thanks to Brad! He always responded to my questions in a timely manner, worked out times for us to visit whenever we asked, and was very accommodating and helpful on our wedding day. Prices are super reasonable considering you get the full B&B for 1-2 nights. Definitely don't pass this venue up!
