Rita was amazing! We had a destination wedding in Hawaii so we wanted our cake flavors to match our tropical theme for the reception once we returned. She gave us great suggestions and had a large variety of flavor choices. We ended up choosing 4 different flavor combinations- it was the best cake we've ever eaten! (the coconut cupcake with pina colada icing was my favorite) We also gave away her truffles as favors to our guests and they were a hit.

Rita is AMAZING at what she does. My dream was to have a large, white wedding cake that tasted great, and she brought my dream to life. Her signature flavor is guava, and it is SO good. Rita also made us champagne chocolate truffles as our favor. I'm dreaming of eating our cake topper in a year on our anniversary... I cannot wait. Thanks so much, Rita!

Rita, the owner of Raspberry Rose, provided us a delicious cake and cupcakes for our wedding. We tried her Pumpkin Spice Cake with Bourbon cream frosting cupcakes at a bridal event hosted at the Stanley and we knew we had found our baker. The day of our wedding things weren’t setup exactly as they should have been, but she went above and beyond by helping rearrange the tables as necessary for our big day. Beyond that, she even assisted the bridal party in unpacking stuff from the matron of honors car. Delicious cakes and excellent service… 5 Stars.

Our whole experience with Rita was perfect from start to finish. We had so much fun during our consult trying all of her amazing flavors. She was so professional and offers such a high quality of products. We ordered a pumpkin spice wedding cake and chocolate truffles for our wedding and we still have people raving about how great it all was! Rita really is the best and we can't recommend her enough.

Rita took the time to let me sample all of her different types of cakes (which were all delicious), listened to what my vision was and helped me create my dream wedding cake. It was beyond beautiful and tasted even better! I got comments all evening of how amazing it was. Also her delivery service made everything completely stress free.

This cake is delicious! Like seriously delicious. I ended up ordering way too much cake (about 40 servings too many, whoops). I had 2 pieces of cake left over. I ordered 3 cakes. The largest cake was white cake with blackberry filling (perfect for summer), the second was guava cake with guava filling (no leftovers to be found), and the third was white cake with cherry filling for my groom (gone before the bouquet toss). Rita was so nice and responded to my emails so fast. We also were able to rent gorgeous cake stands from her as well. Rita arranged all the cake flowers from my florists onto the cakes when she arrived. She is truly and kind and wonderful woman and her baking skills are amazing! I only ordered cake but she also makes cupcakes, truffles, and cheesecakes. She gave me a free sample of the truffles which were amazing as well. Even the bartender grabbed her card for her son's upcoming wedding because she loved the cake so much. I feel like I'm going to have to start ordering a fancy cake for my birthdays so I have another excuse to eat this cake!

Rita was so helpful in making our day one of a kind. Instead of a wedding cake, we really wanted cheesecake. While our original idea of having a toppings bar proved to be a little over our budget, Rita was very flexible and helpful in creating the perfect fit for our budget. Everyone loved the cheesecakes and we only had 2 leftover after the night was finished (I think that says a lot!!).

Rita's cakes are PHENOMENAL! She brought the vision that I had for our wedding cake to life...it was beyond beautiful and delicious! Her lemon/raspberry cake was a hit amongst our guests. I definitely plan on contacting her again for future cakes. Thanks for everything!

Rita's almond cake is my favorite cake in the entire world, so when I got engaged, I knew I had to have her famous almond cake at my wedding. I sent Rita a few photos of cakes I liked and she helped to narrow down the decision. The final product was absolutely gorgeous and so delicious - we could not have been more pleased. Rita does amazing work! Our cake was my dream cake. It was so beautiful, perfectly constructed, and the designs were amazing. Rita is AMAZING!! She makes cakes right out of her home and they are so delicious that we have used her for our wedding and birthdays. Everyone at my reception had great things to say about the cake. It is safe to say that we will be having her make more future cakes soon!

I can't say enough good things about Rita and her cakes! We chose a number of different flavors for three different cakes and they not only looked perfect- they tasted perfect as well. We received so many compliments- my aunt even said it was the best cake she had ever had. Rita is the best- you won't regret choosing her to make your perfect wedding cake!

Rita is a doll! She is so sweet and really wants you to have exactly what you want! Her cakes are amazing and not over powering! Her frosting's are not grainy or overly sweet! She is wonderful at decorating cakes. There is nothing bad that I can even say about her or her cakes. You will not be disappointed if you choose her.

Rita was so wonderful! I felt liked she really cared about us, she asked questions and got to know us as a couple. She was very detailed in her notes to make sure she got everything that we wanted written down. We gave her a picture of what we'd like our cake to look like and she did a fantastic job of delivery that cake on our wedding day. It was so beautiful! And it looked just like the photo but made for us using our colors and with the additional touch of a little spider man peaking out of the bottom of the cake! It was the perfect little addition showing a little of my husbands silly side. And she was so great about adding it! The cake was very delicious! Everyone raved about how it was moist and sweet but not too sweet. It was perfect!!!! If you want a perfect wedding cake Rita is the one to deliver it and deliver it with love and care.

We tried quite a few vendors before finding Raspberry Rose, and we didn't need to try anyone after that! We adored everything about her. She was very professional, her cake was wonderful (we had the guava and almond) and the cake decorations turned out beautiful. We also used her truffles as party favors. Rita was very prompt to answer emails and very accommodating to all the details. Several of our guests told us that it was the best wedding cake they've had, and we agree! Rita and her cake were wonderful. We can't wait for the anniversary tier!

My initial consolation went well with Rita, however as the date got closer she seemed like she had more and more problems with was she told me she could do. Finally she told me she had another wedding planned for that same day and would have to deliver my cake at 8 am. When it arrived it was a mess. I literally spent $700 on a white cake with a few flowers trickled on it, the color was off and the tiers were not even, and she had no desire to work with me. Although the flavors were good, it looked awful.

After tasting Rita's wedding cake 5 years ago at my best friend's wedding, I KNEW that she was the only person I wanted to do the cake for my own wedding. My wedding cake was the 6th time I've had Rita's cake, and as always it was delicious AND beautiful! We had a 4 tier cake with layers of her white cake and her strawberry champagne cake. Both flavors were delicious, but in my opinion nothing will ever top the white! I didn't get to see our cake until we showed up at the reception, and it was perfect! Everything I could have ever wanted!

I can't say enough good things about Raspberry Rose. I made my meeting and within one hour my cake was custom designed and I had tasted all of her amazing flavors. This was the first baker who made stunning cake that actually tasted amazing. This cake is unique because of her fillings and flavors. IT IS NOT GROCERY STORE CAKE QUALITY. I chose the split layer of white and chocolate with fresh blackberry filling. Each serving was gorgeous and I can't tell you how many guests raved about it. I even found guests in the back room eating the leftovers at the reception! Without a doubt the best wedding cake in Kansas City. She also makes great truffles that are great for rehearsal dinner or wedding favors.

Take it from our guests (ALL of guests), that this was the best wedding cake they had ever had. My little sister used Rita last summer and there was no doubt we would be too. Our guests just could not stop ranting and raving about how delicious it was! We accidentally forgot to cut the groom's cake at the reception so we had the pleasure of eating it for weeks after the wedding. It was just as moist weeks later as it was the first day...truly amazing! Not only is this cake delicious but affordable too!!

Rita is truly amazing! We have many guests still commenting that the wedding cake was the best they have ever had! The flavor is great, and the design is beautiful. We had so much fun designing the cake, too. We got to build the cake out of styrofoam blocks and then plan the decorations, icing, etc. The cake was worth the price. Her product is a clear testament that Rita loves what she does.

We used Raspberry Rose for our wedding cake and it was so yummy! We met with Rita only once and our cake turned out perfectly! Her cakes are absolutely delicious and beautiful! She designed my cake based on my dress, and it was absolutely perfect! She has so many different flavor options as well as filling options the possibilites are endless. Rita shoots for perfection and she achieves it!!!

Rita is so great to work with and her cakes taste fabulous! She had a great vision with our both of our cakes and they turned out perfectly! She was very accomodating even when we kept changing where to put the cake!

Rita makes the most delicious cakes! They melt in your mouth! My husband and I were so impressed with her treats at our tasting that we booked her right away - and we were not disappointed. Our cake and the truffles we used as our favors were to die for! My husband and I want to get a cake from her at each anniversary to celebrate. You can't go wrong with Raspberry Rose!

Rita made us the best cake for our wedding! Yellow cake with peanut butter filling and milk chocolate icing. Our guests were talking about it all night! She was so great to work with as well.

Rita Stretch is such a wonderful lady to work with. She made the experience so easy and to top it all off the cake was AMAZING! I got SO many compliments about how amazing the cake was! She has booked my business for every event I host from here out!

Rita Stretch is one of the most genuinely kind and lovely ladies I've been lucky to work with. She created this incredible cake dripping with crystals and elevated tiers. My husband's cake was a delicious strawberry cake. Oh back to my cake, she has the most amazing flavor combination of guava and almond and on the chocolate/vanilla layers she has a blackberry filling that is one of the most exquisite things I've ever tasted. AND she made dessert centerpieces for us of home-made truffles, cupcakes, mints, chocolate-dipped strawberries and cookies...wow. What a hit! This woman is unstoppable. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Rita recently did my wedding cake with almond and amaretto filling. The other layer lemon with strawberry filling. The cake was exactly as I pictured, but even more beautiful. I also orded a red velvet grooms cake which my husband loved! The cake was delicious, & Rita was such a pleasure to work with. If you want a beautiful cake that is moist and delicious Raspberry Rose is the one!

My mom and I were super excited about our cake. It was a very expensive, six-layered cake with five different flavors. One was supposed to be strawberry champagne. When the cake was cut, the wedding coordinator at the hotel (who had recommended RR!) had to taste the SC layer b/c it looked like plain vanilla and it was! She didn't even put out the SC sign next to the layer and everyone who tasted it agreed it was vanilla. To make matters worse, my beautiful cake was crooked and even my husband noticed (and you can see it in all the pictures). To top everything off, Rita, the owner, had the audacity to argue with my mom, saying she didn't even bake a vanilla cake that weekend. I would never recommend RR to anyone. There are many other great cake vendors in the KC area, such as Caren's Cakes so don't waste your time and money- my wedding cake was the worst part of the wedding!

This woman can bake. Our cake tasted amazing. She accommodated us in every way. Her design was simple and tasteful, with the tiny bit of flourish that we wanted. She works out of her home which is rustic, clean and beautiful. I would recommend this vendor. We loved her.

Rita made a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting along with 2 cheesecakes for our wedding. Both were delicious! The red velvet was incredibly moist and the cheesecakes were creamier than any I have tasted before. I actually had guests come ask me who made the cake because they thought it was so delicious they want to use her services in the future! Rita was a joy to work with and put together ideas we took from a couple photos to design the perfect cake for us!

Rita is amazing. My cake artist cancelled on me a month before my wedding. Rita squeezed me in and I quickly realized that "yes, everything does happen for a reason." I work in the wedding business, so I have the luxury of having wedding cake almost every weekend. Our cake was the best cake I have ever tasted and it was absolutely beautiful. Rita offers something special that most cake vendors do not. She has a little studio where you get to piece together your dream cake using faux cake layers, ribbon, flowers, etc. It was awesome!!! I strongly recommend guava and almond or white and chocolate with blackberry filling. Our guest said it was the best cake they have ever tasted. We ordered extra and we did not have any left.

The tasting was splendid, the cakes were amazing and her ideas were helpful - the best cake i've ever had!

When our cake vendor went MIA a month before our wedding, I totally panicked, but Rita stepped in and saved the day. Not only did she fit us in on a booked day, she waived some extra fees, and provided us with a beautiful, delicious cake with just a few weeks notice! We can't wait to order an anniversary cake from her. (We couldn't wait a year to eat our topper. It was soo good that we dug it out of the freezer a month after our weddin!)

Raspberry Rose did a wonderful job on our cake. We had so many positive comments about how beautiful our cake was, and everyone thought it tasted amazing.

Rita is an amazing woman to work with. She is very sweet & easy to deal with & very creative. She was able to create our perfect wedding cake's (grooms included) exactly how we had pictured in our head. Her white cake is so moist & delicious we had many compliments. She worked with us to everything exactly what we wanted.
