I wanted to surprise my husband with the groom cake. It's typical in the south where we grew up to get a groom's cake with the college you went to, your favorite sports team, etc. I was so excited to have one item that reflected my husband and his Texas roots. I sent Erin a picture of what exactly I wanted and a link to our college website so she could get the logo and colors right. She said it should be no big deal.
When we arrived at the reception on our wedding day, I was so embarrassed. The wedding cake was stunning but the groom's cake was the wrong colors (and all of our guests went to the same school! So everyone knew!) and it was very messy. The piping was all over the place and the logo was not right. Talk about the worst first gift for my husband.
I would recommend using Rassasy Cakes for a plain classic wedding cake but not a specialty design. I was very disappointed, especially since these cakes aren't cheap!

She worked within my budget and I never felt like I was having to skimp on anything! The cake was so tasty and moist! Even a year later our cake top was delectable! Erin delivered our cake to the wedding site and even decorated our cake with fresh flowers from our florist.
