he classy simplicity of the mansion itself is enough. Definitely recommend!

till got married (on the rooftop of our apartment), and just had our reception a year later (at Ravenswood). Abby Cox and Brandy Lester have been fantastic in helping us reschedule with no extra costs due to the pandemic, and have been super helpful in answering all of our questions and scheduling walk-throughs. They were great with keeping us up-to-date with everything we needed to know, as well as keeping us on top of filling out the proper paperwork that is needed prior to the event day. The house is such a beautiful place, and fit in perfectly with our vintage travel theme. A huge bonus for us was the amount of rental items that are included in the contract! We did not have to go to external sources to rent chairs, tables, and a bar for our event. They have plenty of bathrooms and a huge kitchen for catering staff - highly recommend this as a wedding venue!

e mansion, or in our tent; however, I wondered why we couldn't have it on the big covered porch with our intimate party of about 50 people! I mean, who doesn't love sitting on a porch during a summer rain storm? We coordinated with the venue manager, Abby, who was highly professional and very nice throughout our entire planning process, and she was completely cool with the idea. Instead of walking down a normal aisle, I descended Ravenswood's gorgeous sweeping staircase as the string trio played below. Our guests sat in small rows on either side of the porch, and we stood in the center under our beautiful floral arbor, with the same view of the grounds that we would have had on the lawn! This ended up being an incredibly intimate and beautiful ceremony with a cool breeze and the sound of rain softly thumping on the roof above us. Looking back on that scene, I must say that I am so happy it rained! Our reception took place in a tent on their newly stone-paved area which was a life saver during the rain (grass would have been a nightmare). Everything was beautiful and went super smoothly. Would recommend Ravenswood again and again!

We could not have been more pleased with the entire day and I would host a wedding there again in a heartbeat!

The home itself, the grounds and 360 views are breathtakingly beautiful so I saved on decor because it really doesn't need much to be wedding ready; it also saved on time during the picture taking process because there are so many unique backdrops all in one place there is no need for multiple locations outside the venue. What set this mansion apart from the others in the area for me was the bargain price point & flexibility to choose my own vendors and bring in my own decor. Another differentiating factor was that the actual use of the house was allowed and encouraged! Many historic mansions in the Nashville area allow the use of the grounds but not the actual mansion. They even allow you to store your wedding decor the week of the wedding in the shed which makes set up and break down so much faster. Abby Cox is the managing coordinator and she was always so helpful, attentive and patient in the midst of my crazy bridal ways lol. She is experienced, smart and very easy to work with. She made the mansion very accessible during the planning process which was so comforting. We had an issue with our bartender not showing up during the reception and Abby jumped into action and got a bartender to the event within 30min which totally saved the day! We had a hiccup with the pick up of our rental equipment outside and she was not only understanding but again jumped into action to ensure I was compensated by the company for the inconvenience which is above and beyond her job description. In my opinion this mansion is highly under-priced and once word gets out about this venue rates will go up & the calendar will book up fast so I would definitely book now before prices increase and dates fill up!

My daughter's wedding was a dream wedding because of the venue, the pictures are gorgeous and we could not be more please!! I highly recommend Ravenswood Mansion for any event or Wedding, you will not be disappointed!!

ce in Middle Tennessee. The renovated historic house is location in Brentwood at the beautiful Marcella Vivrette Smith Park. The house is beautiful inside and out, and is surrounded by beautiful landscape, plenty of backgrounds ideal for picture taking, great space to get ready, and plenty of room to party! The venue contact, Amanda, has a lot of experience in the wedding industry and she was a huge help in the process. She had great ideas for our wedding and was able to provide some input in the planning process. She has a great personality and was great to work with leading up to the wedding. She was flexible with her time and very willing to help my husband and I. I especially loved the space provided for the wedding party to get ready. There are 3 rooms upstairs in the house reserved for party and family only, where we were able to spend the entire day getting ready and relaxing before the wedding. The space was comfortable with ample seating and electrical outlets for curling irons! I highly recommend this up and coming venue!
