I think that's what really sets amazing photographers apart. She was really flexible and was able to put together a custom package to fit our needs which made it possible for us to work together. First, the engagement session. We got married at a summer camp and for our engagement photos, we really wanted to embrace the theme. We were nervous to tell her and when we did, she absolutely flipped. She was so excited, and had so many ideas. She even went to some Charlottesville thrift shops to find us some vintage lanterns as props- like... are you joking? Then, the rehearsal dinner and the wedding day. Ray put us so at ease. Our wedding weekend was SO fun because of Ray. First of all, she's the most amazing hype woman you'll ever meet in your life. She makes you feel so beautiful and so confident- exactly how you want to feel on your special day. During the process she would text me around once a month just to tell me how excited she was for the wedding. I honestly think she made me more excited for the weekend than I could have ever made myself. She believed in our vision and brought it to life in a way we couldn't have imagined. She has such a pure joy in what she does. She was literally running around and dancing all night at our wedding- having the best time and capturing the most amazing moments. All of our friends were obsessed with her, and so we were we. I know we'll keep in touch with Ray now, because she's just such a wonderful soul. Any special occasion that we have in our life moving forward, we've got our photographer!

It will ease all your concerns, because you will have proof that Ray is magic. You can not look bad if Ray is taking your photo, I swear. Her energy hyped you up in a way I can’t even explain. Not only does Ray have an incredible eye and is literally overflowing with talent, she is also a beautiful soul who seamlessly fell into our day. The vendors your hire for your wedding day really set the vibe. You want someone you trust and will help you just enjoy the day. I’m am so awkward in front of cameras but she made it feel so natural and fun. She directed us every step of the way and I am still in shock when I look at the pictures. They are so… US. She somehow got our personalities and love story to shine through her pictures. I have no words for the moments she captured. I truly believe artists make the world go round. They bring joy and light and love with their work. And you can tell that Ray really loves what she does. She has passion for it and it shows. When I booked Ray, I felt like I had a personal hype woman. She talked with me about my dress and the details and anything really. She adds so much joy to the atmosphere and radiates light. She was a professional but felt more like a friend. Everyone at the wedding loved her, still talk about her. She got some of the grumpiest people alive to genuinely smile and captured all the deeply meaningful moments. I could feel the day, the joy, through the photos. She also worked seamlessly with my wedding planner and videographer. It was a dream team that I didn’t have to direct at all. They just did it. Which I needed because I was lost with wedding planning. Ray is an extremely hard worker and worked tirelessly to get our photos to us quick. In the middle of wedding season, she blessed us with 15 sneak peak pictures the morning after the wedding. Those photos WOWED us beyond words, I would have been happy with just those. I framed every single one. Then she delivered the entire gallery and we laughed/cried/awed over them for days. I can’t look at them without getting emotional. If you’re looking for someone talented as well as down to earth and genuine, hire Ray. I cannot recommend her enough, she was absolutely immaculate in everything she did. She has magic and I stand by that. Good luck planning and show my girl some love!

ding and I was very drawn to the fact that her work stood out to me as more than just a photographer, but a storyteller in the truest sense of the word. On the day of the wedding we started to realize that the weather was not going to corporate. I was stressed and immediately did what I felt was the safest bet. I came to the sad realization that our original plan of outdoor mountaintop wedding would have to be indoors and I would have to be ok with it. Just when I saw that vision start to disappear Ray showed up. She was a force of positivity and a Ray of light. She urged me to "go for it, take the risk...make the memories!" We got soaked on that mountaintop, laughed, cried with happiness and had the time of our lives dancing in the rain under the twinkling lights...and I will forever thank Ray for that. I realized then that when you hire a photographer that person you are hiring is far more than just capturing the moments, they are a powerful energy source shaping your day...make sure it's the right one. I cannot thank Ray enough for being the amazing person and energy she is. The photos came back and I was amazed. I will forever cherish and appreciate you Ray. 💛
