Ray's Catering

We hired Ray's Catering for our wedding at Deer Park Villa. Their food is delicious and selecting linens/cutlery/etc through them was so easy. They know that venue like the back of their hand! We continue to get compliments on the food from our wedding. Their crab cakes in particular are SO delicious. They also gave us some appetizers during cocktail hour so we could enjoy in between pictures! Highly recommend them for delicious food and a smooth dinner service.

Ray's Catering was one of the preferred caterers for our wedding venue and we are so incredibly happy that we went with them! Dan was responsive, kind, helpful and patient throughout the entire process and was more than happy to walk us through the options we had during our tasting. We truly are so grateful that we had him to lean on with any or all questions we had for logistics around catering. Day of the wedding, our catering lead was Donna - and we cannot say enough great things about her! Not only were our families impressed with her, but we have had several guests reach out to let me know how sweet and helpful she was. Not to mention, we had planned to have a bridesmaid deliver family heirloom glasses to a few guests during dinner and Donna stepped in and offered to assist with this, she just made the day so easy and seamless. Highly recommend working with Ray's Catering for your wedding or event needs!

I have been told by multiple people they have never had good steak at a wedding. But our wedding proved them wrong! All of our food-snob guests loved the food. We worked with Dan to come up with a great menu. We loved the bar and champagne tower. And our donut buffet at the end couldn’t have been a bigger hit! There was a little miscommunication about the rentals and permits we needed between them and our venue, but everything got sorted out nicely in the end.

Ray's did an amazing job catering my recent wedding! I worked with Dan for my quote and arranging everything - he was so professional, friendly, and flexible. We had a smaller wedding than initially planned, and at one point thought we were going to have to add a child's option to the menu, but Dan stayed positive and supportive during the constant revisions of the menu :) The day of my wedding, the Ray's team arrived on time and produced an amazing spread for us. They gave us apps for just my husband, myself, and the other members of the bridal party signing the marriage license, so we could actually get to enjoy a few of the apps - their crab cakes (my requested app since I grew up in MD) went so fast from that private bridal party plate that I ate one, did the marriage license signing, and looked back to find everyone else had gobbled them up! The Ray's team offered to bring me more (they were so accommodating) but I decided to join the party itself and enjoy the cocktail reception with everyone. For dinner, my coordinator had sped up the timeline slightly, which meant that Ray's had to get everything ready to go a few minutes early - since the goal of food prep is to have it as hot and fresh at exactly the right time, this speeding up meant a little of a rush for the kitchen, but they did a wonderful job and had properly temperature, fresh, delicious food ready for everyone before the tables were called (so challenging to do when the timeline gets rushed). My husband and I got our dinner first (we did buffet style service) and really enjoyed everything - so much so that my poor hungry husband wouldn't let us go around to visit the guest tables during dinner because he was so busy eating! We received so many compliments on our dinner and desserts - and also on the staff! Ray's staff were all so friendly and sociable and really made our wedding feel like the backyard whimsical garden party we were hoping for! I would highly recommend Ray's Catering to anyone looking for a high quality caterer at a reasonable price point in the Marin Co. area!
