Often times when getting married you're just another bride, another paycheck to vendors. Rue de la Vie made me feel special and worked with me to deliver a video that I will always treasure. They met my expectations and thus, were worth every penny. Glad I went with RDLV!!!

My husband and I were convinced we didn't want or need a videographer until we had grandparents that wouldn't be able to make the trip for our wedding. Suddenly, I really wanted a videographer to capture the feeling of the day so I could bring it back to them. After watching countless videos online of different videographers - I fell in love with Macy's editing style. And after meeting with them to explain what we wanted in a video (highlight reel of the event, family focused, parent messages) not only did they support our vision but had some really great ideas for how to pull it off. The day of the wedding they were so discreet - I had guests surprised we had a wedding video because they didn't remember seeing videographers or cameras the whole time! They captured every moment we could've wanted and the parent messages turned out so amazing! My mom cries every time she watches the video and I love showing it off to people. We even got to collaborate on the songs used! For those on the fence about hiring a videographer - consider doing a highlight reel. I don't know how often I'd watch a full documentary style video of the day, but our 10 minute video is the perfect way to relive what was an unbelievable day.

My husband and I read that one of the top 3 regrets after a wedding is not having a videographer. Because of reading this, hiring Rue de la Vie was one of the first things we did after getting engaged. I am so thrilled that we listened to that advice! Macy and Jeremy made our magical day even more special by preserving all of the little moments into one package that we can watch again and again. They are so easy to work with and extremely creative! We also did a video Save the Date and it was an absolute blast to work on it with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Macy and Jeremy. I have seen many cheesy, horrible wedding videos. You will not get that from rue de la vie. They are classic and artistic, exactly what we wanted. Everyone made comments about how awesome our video was. It was worth every penny to have this day captured on film. Make sure you save room in your budget to hire a videographer. You will not be disappointed if you go with Macy and Jeremy!!

Macy and Jeremy are hands down the most talented videographers I have come across. It was a wish of my mother's to have my husband and I's wedding filmed. I began my search for something off the beaten path. Not your typical cheesy music, cheesy poses...cheese cheese cheese. In comes Ru de la Vie. A few words to describe their work: artistic, classic, candid, unique, and must-have! Macy and Jeremy were so kind and sweet through out the entire process. I live in the Kansas City area but our ceremony was in the St. Louis area. We had conversations over Skype, exchanged many emails, and Macy really got to know the "feel" of my husband and I, and our wedding festivities. They showed up on the day of the ceremony and got right to work. They took beautiful shots of the ceremony and reception areas, everyone gathering before hand, and truly captured the entire day. They were not breathing down our necks the whole day, they let us enjoy every moment of the day and would politely grab us for a couple moments here and there to capture some beautiful shots. What we ended up with was an absolutely breathtaking video of the pre-ceremony action, ceremony and reception festivities (not just the boring stuff...the fun party part!)We can forever look back on these films and see who was there, what the feel of the day was, how the breeze was perfect and how happy all of our loved ones are for us. If there is even a question in your mind of whether or not to do a video: DO IT, and when you do..definitely use Rue de la Vie!

Macy and Jeremy were amazing. Wonderful people to work with, very professional and created a video that was above and beyond my expectations. I regularly watch the video, and every time it brings a smile to my face. My husband and I went back and forth about whether or not we were going to hire a videographer, and we are SO glad we did! Macy and Jeremy are awesome. They are both so nice and sweet and great to work with. We shot a Love Story video several months before the wedding that we showed during the reception, and everyone absolutely loved it! People were cracking up the whole time, and, even better, it was beautifully done. We just got our wedding video back and can't stop watching it. They did a beautiful job of capturing our day, from the detail shots of the church to our vows to the dance floor at the reception. We would recommend them to anyone! Love them!

My wife and I cannot say enough about Rue de la Vie. From start to finish, they have exceeded our every expectation. Macy and Jeremy, relative newlyweds themselves, are supremely talented. They produce incredible videos by combining precisely edited footage, perfectly appropriate music, and intriguing graphics. Everyone we have shared the videos with has been completely blown away, and many are brought to tears. Macy and Jeremy don’t just document the day’s events; they work tirelessly to ensure their footage tells a compelling story. We chose to add the “love story” to our wedding package. Macy and Jeremy made the process incredibly easy. We live in Chicago, so Macy quickly set up a dropbox account for us to upload pictures and other documents. The “Love Story” turned out so well we ended up playing it on a loop at our reception! They created a short highlight reel that we could easily share online with family and friends. It proved to be a perfect recap of the entire night. They listened to our preferences and what we were hoping to achieve with each video. They incorporated everything we wanted – including last minute song changes (sorry, Macy) – to ensure we were thrilled with the final product. We cannot imagine the hours that went into crafting these videos, but we were amazed by the quality of work and how quickly they turned them around. We were also extremely impressed with the value of Rue de la Vie’s services. After seeing the finished product, we gladly would’ve paid double what they charged. Last, but certainly not least, Macy and Jeremy are just great people. They are so passionate about what they do and fully understand how important these videos end up being for their clients. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and would, and will, recommend them to anyone looking for awesome videographers.

My husband and I debated on hiring a wedding videographer and had decided not to do it based on the amount we were spending on a photographer. Then an email came from “The Knot” on a special that Rue De La Vie was running. I immediately went to their website and fell in love with the style of their wedding videos. After deciding to surprise my husband by restoring his first car a, ’91 mustang, and planning to present it to him after our rehearsal I decided I had to have his reaction on video. I contacted Rue De La Vie regarding travel costs, as our wedding was taking place 3 hours North of St. Louis, and their prices were extremely reasonable! I hired them immediately to help me pull off the surprise of my life and to document our wedding the following day. Macy and Jeremy were extremely easy to get a hold of during the planning process and very helpful in keeping things a secret. We officially met in person after the mustang surprise and I knew they were going to be amazing and so easy to work with on our wedding day. The day of our wedding they were very professional and fun and managed to capture some many special moments on film. The mustang highlight video and our wedding highlight video definitely exceeded our every expectation. We gave some music suggestions during the making of the videos, but they ran with the music and did not disappoint. They have a knack for selecting just the right song for the right moment. I hate to admit just how many times I’ve watched our wedding highlight video, because I love it so much! We have over 1400 amazing still shots from our photographer that I absolutely adore, but the videos wrap up all those images and help us put the day together. I can’t tell you how much joy it gives me to watch the videos in their entirety: the wedding mass, the reception speeches, the cake cutting, our first dance and our guests dancing the night away. I would definitely recommend Rue De La Vie to all future brides. The memories from the day captured on video are priceless!

Rue De La Vie was incredible to work with! We had watched lots of wedding videos before contacting them and had our hearts set on a specific style. Rue De La Vie did an amazing job on our wedding video. Everyone who has seen it loves it and it has definitely brought some tears to a few eyes (even people we don't know). Rue de la Vie was our wedding videographer and our video included the ceremony, reception, family messages and highlight reel. Macy is easy to work with, responds quickly and makes you feel comfortable. Jeremy and Macy captured amazing moments from our special day and made them into a perfect compilation to relive all the emotions. Our friends and family were majorly impressed by the video. Jeremy and Macy were amazing videographers. They helped us to capture our special day in May 2012 (including all of those moments I wished I could remember better). They were very professional and have some great equipment. I was really impressed with the quality of the video and audio. Additionally, they got some really impressive shots, especially considering our venue had some weird lighting and depth components. I really enjoyed the blu ray copy of our disc to remember even the smallest of details in high definition. I most appreciated the tremendous flexibility Jeremy and Macy demonstrated with the timing of our event, helping us to create a plan that really worked well for our hectic wedding day schedule. Finally, our parents really enjoyed getting a copy of our wedding DVD to keep. I would recommend Jeremy and Macy in a heart beat!

We hired Rue de la Vie to do our Save the Date video and our wedding day videography in the Bahamas. Our wedding was at the One and Only Ocean Club on Paradise Island and was featured in the magazine Weddings Unveiled. Rue de la Vie was so amazing to work with and we could not have been happier with the final product!!
