When I discovered I could have paella at my wedding, I got very excited about the idea. But I did have one big question. Would our guests like it? I knew we had some picky eaters i...
n the bunch, and paella is a unique dish.
That question was answered on the day after the wedding, as I inquired about leftovers only to find out there were NONE! Many of our guests kept going back up for seconds and left no crumbs. The mixta and classic paellas were the first to go, and even the vegan paella disappeared by the end of the night.
If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know about the quality of Real Paella, allow me to try. I requested the Paella Mixta because I love seafood, and I was not disappointed. The shrimp, scallop and mussels were fresh and cooked perfectly. All of the flavors worked well together. The rice, veggies and chicken were cooked and seasoned well. And the lemon added just the right amount of acid to bolster the freshness of the dish.
Some other highlights of the night according to guests: tomatoes (in the salad, one guest said they were the best tomatoes they had ever eaten), tapas and drinks (Real Paella also handled the bartending).
Throughout the process Juan and Nevin were extremely friendly. They communicate well. I had loads of questions, and they answered them all and were quick to respond. My guests loved getting to watch Juan and Co. cook the paellas during cocktail hour. I highly recommend Real Paella for your wedding, and I hope to hire them again for my vow renewals.

If I could give Real Paella 100 stars, I would. They were fantastic at our wedding. Not only did the paella taste great, but I’m sure the whole surrounding neighborhood could smell...
the deliciousness that is Real paella. The portions are awesome and I still noticed multiple guest going up for seconds and thirds. And Juan was so incredibly easy to work with. Pro tip: grab some tapas before all your guests go ham on them! Best catering service ever!
All of the food was absolutely scrumptious. Our guests were very happy with the tapas, sangria, and paella. We even had plenty of leftovers to feed our family the next day! I wish...
I could have eaten 18 plates of everything. Our guests are still raveing over the paella over a year later. Protip, order double the sangria's, everyone wanted more! We love Juan!
We chose Real Paella as our caterer for a destination wedding in Florida. I have to admit, I had never even tried paella before but my husband had and I wanted something different ...
for our guests. I suppose I was feeling courageous that day HA.
Let me tell you, it ended up being one of the best decisions I made. They were incredibly generous with their insight and helpful in making selections per our wedding size. The aesthetics of it cooking in a big pan, was really great. But The food was PHENOMENAL! My friends and family STILL, 4 years later, talk about the food. My friend, who lives in Florida, actually requested their information for another event. Not a single person didn’t completely devour it. I would HIGHLY recommend Real Paella. They provide great service and do not disappoint!!!!
(BTW I never take time to write reviews, they just really deserve the accolades! Other reviews also helped me decide to go with them, so hopefully this offers the same)
