enue) that we booked and gave the most wonderful recommendations on who to reach out to for other services. Becci is personable, warm, and-- of course-- fantastic at what she does. She helped us feel completely at ease on our wedding day. We appreciated her asking us fun questions and facilitating our silliness to get the best photos. It helped us relax and was so much better than the standard “stand here, pose like this” experience. In terms of the photos, her attention to detail and ability to capture light is amazing. Our pictures were stunning-- you cannot go wrong with her as your photographer!

to know us when we were in town several months before the wedding. She was in touch with us before the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, and showed up early on our day. She struck the perfect balance between directing us and just letting us do our thing, and the photos show it. Whether it was grabbing us water, patiently and professionally coordinating all the family formals (ha), or pulling out the essential Tide pen when I stained the front of my wedding dress (!), Becci was super supportive and there for us. And I haven't even mentioned the actual photos yet! They were absolutely STUNNING. We are thrilled by how beautiful they turned out and how she managed to capture the genuine emotions of the day. We just went through them all again and I nearly teared up remembering the joy and elation of the day and seeing it illuminated so brilliantly on our faces and those of our guests. I honestly can't recommend her enough -- we are forever grateful!

She came up with great ideas for amazing and fun photos, and also was fully on board with our ideas of taking photos at places significant to our relationship on UNC’s campus. Her assistant Christy worked with the groom and groomsmen while they got ready - she really understood ‘dudes’ and took that into account when taking their photos. And of course the photos themselves turned out amazing! ncredibly helpful in our planning process. Rebecca was always in touch leading up to the event and she asked important questions about family and the bridal party, the order of events, any particular moments to make sure to capture. She was able to work with our non-traditional wedding plans (cocktail hour before ceremony, no bridal parties) and she captured all the special moments – and more. We received our pictures about two months after the event (we got married during peak wedding season) and they were AMAZING. The wedding goes so fast but with Rebecca’s help we were able to re-experience the evening all over again through her pictures. The pictures were clear and well-styled, with lots of candid shots – she captured all the emotion of fun of the night! I’d argue that the photographer is one of your most important vendors and I’d recommend Rebecca over and over again. Thank you for everything! -Emily and Leon

ould have to do is look through these pictures and you would see each and every personality shine through. Rebecca Ames photography must have been in about eight places at once! It is also worth mentioning that she had a herniated disc in her back (we didn't find out until days later because she didn't want us to worry), but that didn't stop her from being on her feet for an entire day so that we would have memories for a lifetime. We also got all our completed, edited pictures back (over 2,000) in exactly 5 weeks. Judging by what we know about the industry standard, that is lightning fast!

Becci's photo style was exactly what we wanted for our wedding photography. She takes amazing photos with a lot of natural light. On our wedding day, Becci and her intern were never intrusive and stayed from start to finish. Even though our wedding day had some rain and clouds, Becci was able to utilize the natural light to capture some gorgeous and romantic photos. We also loved that she was able to capture the theme of our wedding and all of the little details we spent months planning. Becci is truly talented, and we are so thankful that our one special day was captured by Rebecca Ames Photography! We certainly will use her for any future professional photography needs.
