Of course I'm a little biased, but I really do think we hit the jackpot with all of our vendors. This was in no small part due to Becci, who was the first vendor (other than our v...
enue) that we booked and gave the most wonderful recommendations on who to reach out to for other services. Becci is personable, warm, and-- of course-- fantastic at what she does. She helped us feel completely at ease on our wedding day. We appreciated her asking us fun questions and facilitating our silliness to get the best photos. It helped us relax and was so much better than the standard “stand here, pose like this” experience. In terms of the photos, her attention to detail and ability to capture light is amazing. Our pictures were stunning-- you cannot go wrong with her as your photographer!
Becci is a fantastic photographer! From day 1, she was professional, communicative, fun, and down-to-earth. We live in California, and she made the extra effort to meet up and get ...
to know us when we were in town several months before the wedding. She was in touch with us before the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly, and showed up early on our day. She struck the perfect balance between directing us and just letting us do our thing, and the photos show it. Whether it was grabbing us water, patiently and professionally coordinating all the family formals (ha), or pulling out the essential Tide pen when I stained the front of my wedding dress (!), Becci was super supportive and there for us. And I haven't even mentioned the actual photos yet! They were absolutely STUNNING. We are thrilled by how beautiful they turned out and how she managed to capture the genuine emotions of the day. We just went through them all again and I nearly teared up remembering the joy and elation of the day and seeing it illuminated so brilliantly on our faces and those of our guests. I honestly can't recommend her enough -- we are forever grateful!
We loved working with Becci for both our engagement photoshoot and our wedding! Becci is a consummate professional but also warm and kind. She did a great job of putting us at ease...
throughout all of the picture-taking. From creative pics of our treehouse venue to more traditional formal portraits, her photos (and those of her second shooter) were absolutely gorgeous and captured the joy of our wedding day perfectly. It was a blast having her as our photographer, and we are so grateful to have these lovely photos as a memento of our wedding day.
We cannot say enough nice things about Becci and her team! She was absolutely wonderful, from start to finish. As two people who do not like to have their picture taken, Becci made...
us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She had us laughing and smiling- everything felt so natural! We also have an extensive family, and she took the time at the reception to take shots of each “combination”, without it feeling tedious and tiresome. Finally, as an out of town bride and groom, she made the process so easy. Becci was quick to respond to our many emails and questions while providing thoughtful and thorough guidance and support. I never had a doubt that we had made the right choice. We hope to hire Becci again some day for family portraits- we would HIGHLY recommend her service!
We knew the first time we spoke with Rebecca, she was the one. And we couldn't be happier with her amazing talent! Rebecca was a master at capturing all our emotions that were over...
flowing on our very special day! We were giddy with excitement, and her fun-loving, humorous demeanor allowed us to feel completely natural in front of her lens. She took us to incredible places throughout Duke Gardens—the trees hugged us, while the light danced around us. And she captured it all! We are blessed that she was our wedding photographer!
My husband and I highly recommend working with Becci after our experience with her as our wedding photographer! We loved how effortlessly Becci took the photos, which meant ‘pictur...
e time’ didn’t drag. It all felt so natural, not forced. She came up with great ideas for amazing and fun photos, and also was fully on board with our ideas of taking photos at places significant to our relationship on UNC’s campus. Her assistant Christy worked with the groom and groomsmen while they got ready - she really understood ‘dudes’ and took that into account when taking their photos. And of course the photos themselves turned out amazing! Becci really captured the spirit of the whole day, gave us a wonderful variety of photos, her quality cannot be beaten, and even her website was easy to use for viewing/ordering prints! Thank you, Rebecca Ames Photography!!
Rebecca was the photographer for our wedding this past June and we could not have been more pleased with the way the pictures turned out. We met with Rebecca early on and she was i...
ncredibly helpful in our planning process. Rebecca was always in touch leading up to the event and she asked important questions about family and the bridal party, the order of events, any particular moments to make sure to capture. She was able to work with our non-traditional wedding plans (cocktail hour before ceremony, no bridal parties) and she captured all the special moments – and more. We received our pictures about two months after the event (we got married during peak wedding season) and they were AMAZING. The wedding goes so fast but with Rebecca’s help we were able to re-experience the evening all over again through her pictures. The pictures were clear and well-styled, with lots of candid shots – she captured all the emotion of fun of the night! I’d argue that the photographer is one of your most important vendors and I’d recommend Rebecca over and over again. Thank you for everything! -Emily and Leon
After going through our wedding pictures, we cannot imagine that someone could have captured this day any better. If you had never met us or any of our friends or family, all you w...
ould have to do is look through these pictures and you would see each and every personality shine through. Rebecca Ames photography must have been in about eight places at once! It is also worth mentioning that she had a herniated disc in her back (we didn't find out until days later because she didn't want us to worry), but that didn't stop her from being on her feet for an entire day so that we would have memories for a lifetime. We also got all our completed, edited pictures back (over 2,000) in exactly 5 weeks. Judging by what we know about the industry standard, that is lightning fast!
Thank you for everything and making this day one that we will never forget!
If you want to have every moment at your wedding captured (seriously), then call Rebecca!

geable and was a great guide helping us choose our wedding package. It was very easy to communicate with her as she was very efficient at responding to our questions and emails.
Becci's photo style was exactly what we wanted for our wedding photography. She takes amazing photos with a lot of natural light. On our wedding day, Becci and her intern were never intrusive and stayed from start to finish. Even though our wedding day had some rain and clouds, Becci was able to utilize the natural light to capture some gorgeous and romantic photos. We also loved that she was able to capture the theme of our wedding and all of the little details we spent months planning. Becci is truly talented, and we are so thankful that our one special day was captured by Rebecca Ames Photography! We certainly will use her for any future professional photography needs.
