Rebecca Keizer Studios

This review is being written way over due as I got married just over a year ago. I've procrastinated on writing this review because it's not really something I feel comfortable doing. However, I really felt it was important to share my experience working with Rebecca Keizer Studios. Rebecca Keizer was my favorite vendor for my wedding and I do not hesitate tecommending her to others looking for a photographer. Both her and Jessica are very easy going, patient and down to earth. They are professional, reliable, and they make sure all your needs and wants are met. Rebecca even sent me a card a few weeks before the wedding reminding me to relax and to enjoy this time. It is obvious she really cares about the quality of her work. She really spent time photographing the little details that went into making my wedding complete and special to me-nothing was left out or forgotten. I love looking at my photos and am truly grateful for the care Rebecca put into capturing my wedding day.

Let me begin by saying that I would highly recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. Prior to the wedding, we had many questions and she was able to answer them all! We met with her a few times to discuss options but also to get to know her so that we would be comfortable on our wedding day. When the big day came, she and her sister were absolutely amazing. Not only did the get the stock photos that everyone wants but they caught all the special moments and candid moments that we requested. They were calm and collected and flexible. We had really wanted sunset photos on the beach but the tide was really high. I was particularly nervous about my dress getting wet before the reception and they were amazing! They came up with different angles so that I didn't have to be nervous and we ended up getting phenomenal photos. Another wonderful thing about this vendor is that you end up getting all of the rights to all of your photos- we really appreciated being able to share all of the photos with our friends and family through the website. The team was unobtrusive, but they caught some very intimate moments on our special day. While our venue recommended several photographers, I felt their wedding photos were the same for each client. If you check out Rebecca's photos, you know that this is not true for her! Rebecca Keizer Studios got to know our personality and exactly what we wanted. My husband enjoys architecturally "artsy" photos that include angles, etc, while I really appreciate the beauty of Hawaii (colors, flowers, and nature in general). They were able to please both of us and include the more traditional wedding photos. I was also concerned about standing around for a long time waiting for photos but they were really fast, and organized. I was mostly just having fun with my relatives during photos (even for the staged ones) and then it was over! Lastly, we decided to get an album and Rebecca was incredibly patient. Her originally spread was beautiful but we were really particular with what we wanted. She altered everything with a smile (emoticon- since we were doing everything long distance) and we ended up getting our album in a very timely manner! We got a very similar album for our parents and they loved it! We were hesitant because we thought we could pay less and do it ourselves- I highly recommend taking advantage of Rebecca's keen eye and expertise because our album is fabulous and we never could have made it look this good on our own. Rebecca Keizer Studios was very reasonably priced, particularly compared to her competitors and she was willing to work with us on which package was a good fit for us. I felt like she gave us what we paid for and more! I would not have changed a thing about Rebecca Keizer Studios and would hire them for any future events! :-)

My husband and I were married in April and were so happy with Rebecca. She was absolutely wonderful and the photos she took were amazing! My one regret is that we probably should have gotten a second photographer to capture more guests photos while we were taking our photos, but overall, we were extremely happy and used to the photos to make a video to send to my parents who couldn't attend the wedding. My husband and I feel terrible for not writing our review sooner, but we would highly recommend Rebecca!

Rebecca made my wedding day perfect! She was the first photographer whose work stood out to me when I attended my first bridal expo! Fast forward two years and Rebecca and her team were a pleasure to work with. They made me feel instantly comfortable shooting both my engagement + wedding day! She is quick in replying to emails/texts/phone calls. She was so easy to work with! She even worked my wedding on her birthday! I can't recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios enough. You made my Laniakea 7.17.15 wedding a dream come true in photos!

I can't recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios enough! My now husband and I felt completely comfortable with Rebecca and Jessica throughout the whole process despite our aversion to having cameras in our faces. The day was a whirlwind and tightly timed, but they managed to get all of the pictures on my large list and even work around some last minute scheduling adjustments and finagling of extended family. I honestly don't even remember them being there during the ceremony or reception, but obviously their amazing pictures prove there were very much there. Now that we have received the beautiful pictures back, we have had a tough time selecting favorites which is a great problem to have. Most people only get married once and there are no do-overs, so I was thrilled at how wonderful everything turned out.

My husband and I got married at The MODERN HONOLULU (also highly recommend) on March 27, 2015. I had booked Rebecca over a year in advance because I loved her work and her prices were unbeatable. I can't say enough good things about Rebecca and her second shooter Jessica...professional, funny, easy going, well prepared, considerate, flexible, knowledgeable, and best is that their work is beautiful. We were thrilled that instead of the free engagement session (which we couldn't do since we live in GA) that came with our package, Rebecca accommodated a quick session at the hotel the day before the wedding. This allowed us to still keep the session and also get comfortable with her and the camera. Jessica went with all the groomsmen out to Makapu'u to get some awesome shots and Rebecca stayed with the bridal party and myself to shoot us getting ready and details. Every ask from us was answered with a yes and a smile. If we could do it again we would book Rebecca and Jessica in a heartbeat. We haven't gotten the final products yet (est. 6 wk editing/processing) but I am happy to know that she is taking her time editing the images and ensuring we get the best final product. I booked Rebecca right away because she had shot my friend's wedding and the photos were gorgeous! She's also so easy to work with and incredibly nice and accommodating. On the day of the wedding she showed up eager and ready to work! Did I mention she was 8 months pregnant? Yes. She was getting all kinds of angles and even sprawled in the sand when we were taking our beach shots. She's very dedicated to her clients and the work shows. I would definitely recommend hiring Rebecca!

I first met Rebecca at a Bridal Expo and I knew immediately that I liked her work and personality! My then fiance (now husband) and I met up with her to talk wedding photography shortly after initially meeting her. We signed up that day (just under a year from our wedding date)! Rebecca is so easy to work with, flexible, and is a talented photographer! We did an engagement session (which I recommend, just to get to know your photographer so that on your wedding day you are comfortable with them!) as well as an all day session on our wedding day. It was so nice to have a photographer who could work under any condition (we happened to have a hurricane show up on our wedding weekend) and make beautiful photos! Her words of encouragement were wonderful! I could have easily fallen apart knowing that we were in for a wet and muddy wedding, but Rebecca & Jerome were so cheerful and positive that it helped me to stay calm and embrace the weather. We had fun with our photos (both engagement and wedding) and are so happy with the finished product! We definitely recommend Rebecca!

We hired Rebecca Keizer Studios as our all day photographer which happened to be one of her packages (very reasonably priced too!). Rebecca (owner) and her husband were our two photographers which we were thrilled about! We had an initial consultation at which she was very accommodating in setting up our payment plans. We got everything we asked for and even received a surprise Starbucks gift card two weeks before our wedding just to send her well wishes to us! We received our photos 4 months after our wedding and she kept good communication by updating us on the status of our photos. We highly recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios to anyone looking for great service and great photos with a rustic touch! We will most likely hire Rebecca in the future for family, maternity, and/or anniversary photos!

I found Rebecca using The Knot while searching for a photographer for on Oahu. She was very helpful, great communication and awesome personality. My husband & I got married in the States but wanted to do a Bridal/Trash the Dress session on the beautiful beaches of Oahu. Rebecca was more than helpful in suggesting places and worked with our schedule very well! We had so much fun with her! Highly recommended.

We met Rebecca at the wedding expo and there was an instant connection. Aside from her beautiful work we felt like her wedding price packages are fare. Rather then have an engagement photo session we had her some to our rehearsal dinner/BBQ. Our whole family flew in from Chicago so we wanted as many photos as possible. Rebecca and her husband were a joy to have around. My whole family loved them. On the wedding day it was just easy. I didn't have to tell them anything, they just got to work. If there was a specific shot I like from Pinterest or something then she took it for me. We hired her because we loved her photographer style but it was important to us that our photographer also be flexible with some of our style requests. Rebecca did that flawlessly. We got every photo we wanted and more. I highly recommend Rebecca to capture you wedding day. You won't be disappointed.

We were so happy to have Rebecca as our wedding photographer. She has been such a pleasure to work with. Rebecca is professional, very responsive and made us feel really comfortable on the day of our wedding. She is definitely great at what she does! The quality of our wedding photos turned out amazing and both my husband and I would most definitely recommend her services to to anyone looking for a photographer.

Rebecca Keizer Studios did an awesome job shooting my wedding! Rebecca took the time to go over all the little details of how things were going to flow. She checked out the church months ahead of time to see the area/lighting she'd be working with. She was easy to reach and answered any of our emails promptly. We love the photos we received, and all the different options in terms of packages and add-ons (photo albums, discs, etc.) I would highly recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios.

My husband and I had a portrait session with Rebecca while vacationing in Oahu. We got some amazing pictures to remember our trip and had a great time with Rebecca. She did a great job taking candids and getting us to relax for our photos. I highly recommend her for a portrait session or a wedding.

I met Rebecca at a Wedding Expo and was struck by how friendly and professional she was. It was a small expo and a great opportunity to really see the level of customer service that each vendor might provide. Rebecca lived up to my initial impressions. She was professional throughout the entire process and her customer service is great. One of the most memorable things she did for us was to send us a sweet card and Starbucks gift card before the wedding. She encouraged us to take a moment together amidst the pre-wedding craziness. We decided on a package that included an engagement photo shoot, two photographers for 9 hours at the wedding and a wedding album. Since we did not need engagement photos, Rebecca photographed our rehearsal dinner instead. It was a great opportunity for her to get to know our families and wedding party. She got along so well with everyone and on our wedding day she and her assistant were so organized. They had our shot list and made sure to get every shot we wanted. The photos were beautiful and I loved working with Rebecca. Having been in a number of wedding parties and helped to plan many of my friend's weddings, I can attest to Rebecca's quality and service in comparison to other vendors out there. I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a photographer.

Rebecca is an amazing photographer! Not only did she do our photography for our wedding, see also did my maternity photos & newborn photos of my son. She truly captured ever moment beautifully!! I am so happy with her work & so glad we chose her!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!!

My dad used to be a professional photographer, so when I had to seek out a wedding photographer for myself - and from 4,785 miles away - I knew it would be a difficult decision. But Rebecca made it so easy! Thanks to all the great reviews on The Knot, I felt very confident in my choice. Living so far away, Rebecca and I first communicated via email then over the phone. I felt like we were immediate friends. She was easy to talk to, very flexible with us, and since we were working with the parks department for our beach wedding, we didn't finalize a location until a few weeks prior. The day of the wedding, traffic on the island of O'ahu was so bad that my other vendors were running late, but since Rebecca showed up first, we had time to take my "getting ready" shots!! I was ecstatic - I didn't think I would be able to fit these in my timeline, but Rebecca went with the flow and came to our condo rental to get in some wonderful photos with my mom and I. The ceremony photos on the beach were phenomenal. I have NO idea how she got so many photos into my two hour window. She made my camera-shy fiancé feel comfortable and made some wonderful memories for us! If I had to do it all again, I would gladly choose Rebecca Keizer!! I highly recommend her as a professional, talented photographer with a beaming personality. My photos were completed and sent to me within her promised timeline, even during the busy spring/summer wedding season.

Nothing in my recent memory has been more stressful than planning a wedding. I have to admit that I was telling everyone it was easy. All the while secretly dreading every new day and the many many details needing to be addressed. What a blessing to have had Rebecca in my corner. From the very first meeting I was impressed with her professionalism and knowledge of her trade. She helped relieve a major amount of stress from my life. Being a tradesman myself I look for confidence and ability when hiring people. Rebecca and her assistant did the finest job anyone could ask for. Rebecca (and Jessica and Jerome) was such a pleasure to work with! We met her at the Bridal Expo and instantly loved her work. She made us feel so at ease during our engagement photos, which my husband was hesitant about doing. The photos turned out stunning, and he ended up being very happy that we took them. On the wedding day, Rebecca and her crew were so laid back, on time, efficient, and just true professionals to work with. Her demeanor is so friendly and warm, and we could not have been happier with the final result of the pictures! I cannot recommend Rebecca enough - you will not regret working with her!

I am so happy that we chose Rebecca for our wedding photographer. She was accommodating, personable and relaxed throughout the whole process. On your wedding day that is just what you need!!! She was amazing on the "day of"!!! We were running late (of course) so she was very flexible with changing the plan. She captured all the photos we asked for (and more). Rebecca and her husband, Jerome, did both my engagement photos and my wedding photos. They were prompt, courteous, open to my photo ideas, and very enthusiastic! These two captured my special day with their expert photography skills and I love every single picture! The very best part of their photography is the fact that YOU own the copyright to the photos they take. You are free to use your photos however you would like, print them from any company, and share them with the world! Rebecca also does photo albums, prints, canvas photos and more if you order through her!

I didn't put a lot of research into hiring a wedding photographer. Several people I know recommended Rebecca, and after I scouted her blog and liked what I saw, I booked her. Every other photographer I saw online seemed to charge an arm and a leg, and Rebecca had reasonable rates for six hours and two photographers, which I appreciated. Rebecca was professional and really cared about my wedding. She met with me twice to discuss my plans, and fielded several emails promptly and thoroughly. On the day of my wedding, it almost felt like she and her assistant weren't there, but I just got the pictures back, and they got every single important moment! They also made me and my husband look gorgeous. We got our "Sneak Peek" shots less than a week after the wedding--pretty great! She is great to work with, very bubbly and receptive to ideas; she doesn't try to force her idea of what wedding photography should be on you, and she takes good pictures. Book her!

I loved using Rebecca Keizer for our engagement shoot! She had fresh creative ideas and had a good combination of pose ideas for us while also letting us be spontaneous with our own ideas. We had a blast together during the shoot and we were more than pleased with our images afterwards. I would highly recommend this photographer for any of your photo needs!

We got married last week in Hawaii and Rebecca was our photographer along with her assistant, Jessica. They were fantastic, to say the least. Efficient, knowledgeable, polite, and professional, all in one. Her packages are all richly stocked with prints, photo rights, and even a canvas. Her prices are also competitive and reasonable, particularly when coupled with the quality of her work. Rebecca also goes beyond the expected duties of a photographer. A month before our wedding she sent us Starbucks cards for a coffee date on her. Super cute. She also met with us a couple days before (Starbucks again!) to put faces to names and make sure we were on the same page when it came to what we wanted for our wedding. She sent us a beautiful collage of sneak-peek previews just a week after the wedding to tie us over until our prints were ready. During our photo shoots, Rebecca and Jessica were both able to direct everyone patiently- even stubborn brothers-in-law. They shot continuously while telling us what to do and then asked if we wanted anything in addition to what we had already shot. I definitely recommend paying a little extra for two photographers. This made them able to capture every moment- even if they were happening in two different locations.

Rebecca knows her craft and got all of the shots I requested + many more. My wedding was a particular challenge, as our outdoor picnic-themed wedding was totally flooded. Rebecca and her assistants adapted quickly as our wedding was moved into a small country church where there wasn't much room for her to move around but she got some amazing shots of the ceremony! She moved quickly and was flexible with the families' requests for the posed photos, and she and her 2nd shooter moved around the entire venue taking photos of our guests, food, and decorations, just like I wanted. We requested a very candid, journalistic style and she certainly fulfilled that! I think her style is both traditional and artistic, which is perfect! She just made it very easy and it didn't feel like work to get the photos we wanted. As a family friend of the Keizers', I know that Rebecca works well with everyone she meets. She and her husband Jerome are super friendly, dynamic people who enjoy weddings and seeing a very happy bride and groom, and that makes it more fun! I loved having Rebecca around from my rehearsal to the end of my reception, from crazy flood confusion to a fun and blissful afternoon!

Where do I start? Not only Rebecca's extremely accommodating, she's flexible with the limited time that we were in. The photos were wonderful, both my sister and I were crying, happy tears. It was faith when I found her, not only she's our photographer she has also witnessed our renewal of vows. We also asked her for a second photo session, YES! She's that good! She put us at ease, there's not a lot of photographers out there like her so pick up the phone or e-mail her right quick, you will not be disappointed! Thank you so much Rebecca!!!

As soon as I got engaged I knew I wanted Rebecca to take our engagement pictures! She was so helpful and flexible when setting up a shoot date as my soon to be husband was only on island for three weeks of our year long engagement. Up for any adventure, Rebecca took us all over Honolulu looking for creative shots and even helped me change outfits in a parking garage. Talk about putting her customer first! I highly recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios for any photography needs. Not only is the product beautiful and of high quality, the photographer is pretty amazing herself! Completely professional but with a fun and smiling personality that makes you want to sit down and have a two hour coffee get together. When you hire Rebecca Keizer Studios, you will not be disappointed!

I got married in December and had all-day coverage, including a complimentary engagement session - which we used at our rehearsal dinner since we had already done an engagement shoot. Rebecca and her husband, Jerome, are so incredibly nice and very easy to work with! She gave us just the right amount of guidance and balanced her professional knowledge with what we wanted. The price was great, seeing as we were on a pretty tight budget. Turn-around time was right on the dot, I think about 6 - 8 weeks? Packaging was so cute and included multiple copies of the CDs so we gave one to each of our parents. I would highly recommend them! Just look at their sample photos - it says everything. You won't find any other professional photogs on O'ahu with as much experience and ability that these two have for the price they offer. Thanks Rebecca and Jerome!

Rebecca was amazing! She was very helpful & willing to work with us! Our wedding pictures came out beautiful & she really did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend her for your special occasion! She captured beautiful shots with the short amount of time given due to a delay because of the weather, we had to rush to get to the reception which we were about 30-40 minutes late, but through it all, she was very prompt to get great pictures after the ceremony. I worked extremely hard especially on the planning and decor of our reception and Rebecca was definitely able to capture all of my important details on her own! I really wish we could have had her for the entire reception! Pictures really came out professional and I am certainly pleased with all of our wedding photos and I am extremely happy with my decision to book with her! Wedding planning was an exciting yet very stressful process. Leading up to the big day, my nerves and anxieties were getting the best of me. After having our complimentary engagement photo shoot with Rebecca, I knew that her calm and laid back demeanor would be a positive asset to our hectic day! Rebecca and her husband did a spectacular job, working professionally with my other vendors, which I thought was extremely helpful in making the day run smoothly. They were flexible, creative, and relaxed. The photos turned out beautiful! We especially appreciated receiving all the photos on a disc and also getting additional discs for no extra charge! She gives you the photo rights so you are able to go anywhere to develop them! This saves you lots of money! I highly recommend Rebecca Keizer Studios for your wedding and we look forward to working with her for future photo shoots and events.

Rebecca is FANTASTIC!! She is very friendly and super easy to work with! She does a blend of photojournalism and traditional shots for weddings that get all those perfect shots all brides hope for. Her wedding packages are very reasonably priced, include a lot (photo release, engagement session, etc.) and the albums look so neat! I couldn't be any happier that Rebecca was our photographer!!

I met Rebecca at a Bridal expo and loved her. Her work is simple and elegant which is what I wanted. We bought her full day package and were very happy with all the photos. One great thing about Rebecca is that she gives you several digital copies (CDs)of all the images and a release form so that you can print, copy, email, edit, and use as you wish (personal use only of course). We ended up not purchasing the album from her because it was very expensive (starting at $900 for the basic book). Her prices were probably in line with standard albums but we opted to make our own online and were quite happy with the result and the savings. The fact that she released all images to us was a tremendous bonus. She is great to work with as well. Very friendly and warm!

I absolutely loved our photographer and her 2nd shooter is her husband, who is also super friendly! She felt like just another one of your girlfriends hanging out and getting ready with you on the big day. We did the package that included an engagement photo shoot but we had already done one, so she came along to one of our events the week of the wedding and got some great shots. On the day of, she and her husband were great. Jerome even took out the trash for us!! I've only seen the sneak peek photos so far, but they are sooo beautiful. I can't wait for the rest! Rebecca was great about getting the "must-have" shots (family photos, etc.) quickly so you could get to the party without feeling rushed. She took some really creative shots and I am so excited to see the final product! I love that her 2nd shooter is her husband - it's nice to have a married couple shooting your wedding. They are both super nice and very comfortable to be around. Her prices are also very competitive compared to other photographers I was looking at.
