We hired Rebecca & Jonathan for our May 2024 wedding (and engagement shoot) and it was the best decision we could have ever made. I cannot recommend them more! If you want to have a relaxing, stress-free wedding day and receive the most incredible photographs that capture every moment perfectly— then look no further! Rebecca & Jonathan are insanely, insanely talented photographers. They have an eye for finding the right light, the right angle, and they have a knack for capturing the sweet little moments that no one even caught in real time. We could not be happier with the photos they delivered from our wedding and engagement shoot! They are now our most treasured family heirlooms. Leading up to the wedding, Rebecca was so organized and on top of every detail. I felt confident and assured knowing that I was in good hands with her. In addition to being incredible at their jobs, Rebecca and Jonathan are wonderful people who are a pleasure to work with. Both me and my husband felt a bit awkward about being in front of a camera and were nervous leading up to our initial engagement shoot. Rebecca and Jonathan made us feel so calm, relaxed, and confident. Rebecca possess an incredibly relaxed, positive, patient, and calming demeanor that is SO infectious it makes you also feel relaxed and calm. Throughout our shoots, Rebecca was always gushing about how amazing the light was, or how great we looked etc., and it hyped us up SO much! It removed the doubt in our minds and any thoughts of “I hope I don’t look awkward.” She made us feel so much more confident, and a result, look confident & amazing in our photos! On our wedding day, I was so so grateful to have two brilliantly talented photographers like Rebecca & Jonathan, but also to have two special people who lifted us up, made us feel more relaxed and confident, and honestly felt like family members to us. Multiple family members throughout the day asked my mom if Rebecca has a background in teaching or if she used to be a kindergarten teacher, because she was SO patient and calm. Trust me - THAT is the vibe you want on your wedding day.

Rebecca and Jonathan are truly an amazing paid off photographers but equally as good of people. Both of them were so calm the entire day, knew exactly where to be to get the beat lighting and our photos could not have turned out any better. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a photographer for any event. Rebecca also was integral in my proposal, where she woke up at 5 In the morning to meet me at the Sankaty Lighthouse!

They are very responsive with emails, do a great job of communicating prior to wedding day so that all plans are firm and they get preview photos back to you quickly and then the full batch quickly as well. When we got our preview photos, we were hoping for a few on the altar so we could include one in our instagrams - I emailed Rebecca asking if she could add some options and she very willingly did so!!

We had the absolute best time working with Rebecca and Jonathan! They not only made themselves available to accommodate our engagement session at our convenience and were very responsive before the wedding, but totally made our wedding day. My wife and I can’t stop talking about how much we adore Rebecca and Johnathan. We’re beyond satisfied with our wedding photography experience. We got married on Nantucket at The White Elephant on 10/22/23. We planned our wedding for about 1 year. We knew that the photography was going to be one of the most critical details to focus on, and that’s where we devoted our attention very early in our planning. When looking at the local Nantucket photographers, as well as the Boston area photographers, we started to get a sense for each of their “styles”. We found that the top rated photographers were all very good at what they did, but the differentiator came down to the vibe. That is, what are the stylistic qualities of their work, and how does that match with our own personalities? We thought that Rebecca and Jonathan’s work exemplified “elegant playfulness”, and that fits with my wife and my personality perfectly. It can be like threading a needle with photos, though. Too much “elegance” and the photos can look too stiff and one dimensional. Too much “playfulness” and the photos can look like a Saturday Night Live sketch. We wanted the finished photos to show the black tie event and setting in the classy light it deserved, but we also wanted there to be elements of fun and a sense that everyone was relaxed and having an amazing time. Rebecca and Jonathan are incredibly talented, and the finished products FAR exceeded even our highest expectations. And what makes it even more special is that they’re just plain amazingly nice and so easy to get along with! We can’t recommend Rebecca Love Photography enough!

Rebecca and Jon are truly the best. From start to finish our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner and wedding were absolutely perfect. Rebecca is not only one of the kindest people I've ever met but she is so thorough, smart and most importantly - a total rockstar when it comes to capturing ALL the moments. We used Rebecca for our engagement shoot in June 2021- the projected rain came an hour early and I was so worried our pictures weren't going to come out good. Boy was I wrong. Rebecca assured me they would not only come up great, BUT the rain/darker sky actually makes for better photos! She totally calmed my nerves and made the entire shoot so fun. The wedding was no different. Jon was with the men for most of the morning and Rebecca was with me and my gal pals. She was sure to capture every requested photo and so much more. We had our engagement photographs with Rebecca in October 2019 (our wedding planned on Nantucket in Spring 2020 has been disrupted due to Corona virus) and I could not be more enthusiastically positive about our experience with her!! In addition to the beautiful photographs she captures, Rebecca is entirely professional, kind, and such a delight to work with. On our photo shoot, she took on board all of our wishes and made us feel as comfortable as we possibly could through it all. And, we are absolutely thrilled with the results and had a bunch of compliments on the photographs we used for our Christmas cards last year. The pictures were a mix of fun and slightly more formal / posed and Rebecca did an amazing job of both making the images about "us" and also reflecting the gorgeous Nantucket locations she picked out for us. Beyond the actual event of the photo shoot, Rebecca was unbelievably helpful in suggesting some other vendors we needed (including for makeup and babysitting) and I really had the comforting sense that we were in great hands from beginning to end. We are thrilled to have found Rebecca and look forward to many family portraits with her on Nantucket in the years to come.

Everyone hates awkward photos even more than the process of taking them. That's not what you get with Rebecca. She has one of those familiar souls like you've known her for years, that you don't mind telling you to where to stand, and that you're absolutely willing to go on an adventure with - which is to say nothing of her incredible photographs. The week of our wedding, my wife and Rebecca surprised me with an engagement shoot around the island. Rebecca knew the best places to find backdrops with splashes of color, made us feel incredibly at ease, and kept us genuinely laughing and smiling as we told each other stories. Her recipe produced the most beautiful photos we could've imagined tied to an incredibly fun and memorable afternoon. After our engagement session, we had a friend shooting our photos on our wedding day instead of a stranger - which made ALL the difference.

Rebecca and Jonathan were the first people we hired to be a part of our wedding day, and what a wonderful choice we made! The moment I saw their photos I was so excited. Throughout the process Rebecca was so nice to offer help wherever she could. Not only are they extremely talented, but they are the kind of people you would want to spend your wedding day with! Rebecca was also kind enough to meet us a few days before our wedding (early morning) to use our engagements photos that we had waited to take so our dog could be a part of them! My husband originally hired Rebecca for a surprise proposal photo shoot. We liked her and her photos so much, that we also booked her for engagement photos, and our wedding. Our pictures for all three events were amazing. Rebecca and Jonathan are the best photography team. They are easy to work with, flexible, and the kindest couple you will ever meet. They have a way about them that is calming, which is really important, especially on your wedding day. We will definitely be using them again in the future. We really can’t say enough good things about this team.

Hiring Rebecca and Jon was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Rebecca traveled off ACK to photograph our engagement photos in our favorite spot on the Cape. She was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding and I loved being able to text her with random questions. We had a VERY tight timeline but Rebecca helped me through it and even arrived earlier than expected to make sure they got all of the details. She paid attention to the shots that I requested and is just the sweetest kindest human possibly ever. Getting a sneak peak the very next day after our wedding was amazing as well. AND I should mention the adorable box of treats that she mailed to us a month before our wedding...I loved the little vow books! OH and she picked a bug off of me on the way to the wedding; that happened too. She does it all :)

We had the best experience with Rebecca and Jonathan who were our wedding photographers for our June wedding on Nantucket!! They were so easy to work with and so positive and calming to have around on the big day. Most importantly, the photos turned out perfectly. Cannot recommend their services enough.

Rebecca and Jonathan had shot my best friend's wedding a year ago and I immediately knew that I wanted them for my own wedding the next year. For both occasions they were incredibly professional and very well organized. For my own wedding they really listened to all of our concerns, answered all our questions, and were just a pleasure to work with; I could not have imagined our big day going any smoother.

My husband and I first met Rebecca last summer when researching photographers for our wedding. We had met with a number of people but ultimately went with Rebecca and we are incredibly glad we did. A few weeks after the first meeting we were convinced to come back to the island for an engagement shoot, something we were both very reluctant about. Rebecca ensured us it would be fun and help to get us comfortable in front of the camera. While I can’t say we were naturals, Rebecca made sure we felt great the entire time! A little over a year later it was our wedding! There are a number of things that can cause stress on your wedding day, but Rebecca and Jonathan did the exact opposite. They both were easy to work with and brought an amazing energy to the day. They are incredibly kind people as well as extremely talented photographers and we would highly recommend them. My sister is getting married next year on Nantucket and we are so excited to get to work with Rebecca and Jonathan again!

Rebecca and Jonathan shot our wedding this past summer. When we first spoke with photographers on Nantucket, all are amazingly talented but when we spoke to Rebecca it became immediately clear she wasn’t just going to be an observer, but an intimate member of all the sentimental moments of the day. I teared up just hearing how she envisioned the day going. When the day actually came, Jonathan and Rebecca were so sweet and such calming forces in the middle of lots of moving parts. Even better was receiving the over a thousand photos from the day they had edited! Rebecca and Jonathan are great at what they do, but also made the entire experience that much more special.

Rebecca was fantastic! My friend was in a wedding that Rebecca had photographed and I loved how beautiful and natural the photos looked. When we got engaged I reached out to her and I am so glad we had her and her husband Jonathan capture our wedding! Rebecca was professional and on top of everything before the wedding- she gave us guidance on how to put together our wedding timeline and even called us a few days before just to make sure everything was all set and to see if we had any questions. They were so efficient at taking photos that we ended up having enough time to go to two locations to take photos before cocktail hour started. Rebecca Love is a fantastic photographer who is extraordinarily talented and delightful to work with! She just photographed my daughter's wedding and engagement photos and the photos are stunning! She has a sixth sense for lighting and scenarios so that each photo is beautiful. On top of that, she's extraordinarily easy and fun to work with, turning the photo session into a joyful and celebratory event. This joy is reflected in her subjects so that every photo -- even Daisy the dog -- glows with her special touch. We highly recommend Rebecca Love for every event!

I was pretty hesitant to get engagement photos taken as my fiancee and I are not necessarily the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Rebecca made us feel so comfortable. She provided gentle direction which was SO helpful to us as we would have been rather lost without it. We were able to take some pictures with our puppy which are absolutely our favorite. Rebecca is kind, professional, easy-going, all out accommodating, and takes some of the most beautiful pictures I've ever seen! Nantucket is our family's second home and being able to take our engagement photos there was so exciting. If we were getting married on island, Rebecca would be my photographer of choice!!

Rebecca and her husband Jon were fantastic and we could not be happier to have chosen them as our wedding photographer! They were super laid back, made the experience fun and natural, and were so helpful (even going back to our house to get my shoes!). Rebecca was very prompt in replying to me whenever we had questions and our pictures were AMAZING! My husband and I had a fairly long engagement so I did a ton of research on photographers. I found Rebecca's website via online search and was immediately impressed by her photos.... beautiful, natural and luminous. After speaking with her on the telephone, I knew she was "the one." Rebecca is sweet and soft, but at the same time experienced and professional. This comes out in her photos, which are stunning and somehow capture the emotion and spirit of the moment. She also does a great job of integrating the surrounding nature in a subtle and artistic way. Rebecca was very responsive and helpful in the months leading up to our wedding and provided great advice and information. She photographed our rehearsal dinner and our wedding day and did a superb job with both. She works side-by-side with her husband, which adds a bit of romance to the perspective of the weekend. I liked knowing that her husband was with my future husband while she was getting ready with me :-) Looking back, I am still so impressed with how Rebecca stayed calm and flexible when emotions were high. Our salon appointments ran late so I was in a bit of a frenzy when I arrived back at the house. Rebecca, thank goodness, was sweet and reassuring and provided gentle guidance about how we might proceed. Despite our timeline going to $hit, Rebecca was able to go with the flow and capture some incredible candids and portraits without taking time or attention away from what we were doing. Most importantly, she has a sense for what photos are really important to capture. Case-in-point, some of my favorite photos are the portrait shots I initially didn't want to take because I was freaking out about timing. She did them in 5 minutes and they are priceless. She has mastered this balance: providing direction while letting the day flow naturally. I can't rave enough about Rebecca Love and would use her again in a heartbeat.

I do not having enough glowing adjectives to describe Rebecca and Jonathan. Not only are they ridiculously talented at what they do, but they are also incredibly wonderful people. We've known Rebecca and Jon since they shot our surprise proposal in 2015, followed by our official engagement shoot in 2016 and most recently our wedding in Cape Cod a couple of weeks ago. Throughout the two years we were planning our wedding, Rebecca was constantly checking in with us--listening to all of our ideas and helping us put together a timeline for the day. On the day of, Rebecca and Jon arrived right on time, perfectly adjusting to all the crazy moving parts that come along with a hectic day. Rebecca was the perfect calming presence, wonderfully capturing organic moments between the bridal party as we all got ready without making anything feel forced or unnatural. Throughout the entirety of the wedding, my husband and I were constantly astounded by how on top of everything this incredible duo was. The second we saw a fun or spontaneous moment taking place during the cocktail hour or on the dance floor, they were already there to capture it before we could even blink an eye. The next morning before we left for our honeymoon, Rebecca sent over a preview booklet with some highlights from the wedding, and unsurprisingly they were absolutely SPECTACULAR. Not only did they get each and every shot we had requested, but they also took pictures of all of the small, beautiful details from our florist, coordinator and other amazing vendors throughout the day that we might otherwise have missed. Above all, they truly captured the feeling of the day, which is not easy to do and something we will both treasure forever. Rebecca was fabulous! My boyfriend secretly hired her to capture his proposal and she did an amazing job. After taking pictures of the proposal we worked with her for hour or so doing an engagement photo session. She knew of all the best spots to take the pictures and they came out amazing! Couldnt be happier and would highly recommend her.

Rebecca and her husband Jon are two of my favorite people. Rebecca shot our engagement photos a little over a year before our wedding and I am so glad that she was able to plan along side with us. She also helped my secure my musical guest and make-up artist - this was something I was so grateful for not knowing exactly where to begin. But, that detail is also something that proves she goes above and beyond for her brides & grooms, the personal touch that we got as they shot us on our wedding day was so warm and full of love - perfect! I have since been able to review our wedding day photos, per my request she turned edited photos around in a little under 3 weeks so that I may have them for a family event.
