In the best way possible, Rebecca was a set-it-and-forget-it vendor. I never once had to reach out to her, she beat me to every wedding-related thought! We first connected with Rebecca through a friend and from our initial meeting where she walked us through wedding timelines (like the whole wedding vendor timeline, not just photography) to the last photo she took on our dance floor, we felt comfortable with her professionalism, but we really fell for her warm personality. Not everyone can make you feel comfortable kissing your fiance in public or walking across a busy college campus holding hands and walking very deliberately. Rebecca will do that and then some. She'll also internalize your requests and know your wedding photo request list better than you will! We got our wedding photos even earlier than the quick turnaround she promised and they're just breathtaking. We wanted just a few detail shots and then a ton of photos to capture what the wedding day felt like. She captured exactly that. There are two photos of the father of the bride and groom together that perfectly capture their essence and are bringing us such joy. We had big family group shots. Detailed romantic shots in pretty locales. There are shots of conversations with all different groups of our family and friends. There are photos from the end of our ceremony that are so perfect they look staged (I promise they weren't). We could not recommend Rebecca and her team more highly!

I am an extremely type A person, and working with Rebecca never caused me any stress. She lays out exactly what shots will be taken, with who, and in what order. She then sticks to that lists and when you are crazy busy on your wedding day, she is behind the scenes making sure every picture you asked for is taken care of. Really, her organization soothed my type A soul. She is also incredibly professional. She arrived early on our wedding day and took the time to walk around our whole property (a new spot for her!) and look for the best places to shoot based on lighting/timing/backgrounds, etc. This extra step meant so much to us, and gave us even more incredible photos. She also listens to what you want (no matter how random/crazy the picture may seem), and she goes above and beyond to not only make you and your significant other feel comfortable on camera, but to make sure your parents/uncles/bridal party feel good on camera too. She made all the family photos feel like a breeze (and whew, there was a lot). She was just incredible to work with. We have already recommended her to another couple, and will continue to do so for everyone who asks :) We will definitely be using her again in the future for other shoots!

our wedding and Rebecca edited the photos, put together our album (which is a true work of art-make sure to order one) and handled all of the logistics. The photos themselves are gorgeous of course but I also really appreciate how much Rebecca and the rest of her staff went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day. Rebecca sends a detailed questionnaire before the wedding asking about every shot you want, who you want to be included, etc so that you really have the opportunity to be 100% happy with your wedding photos. I can not recommend Rebecca and her team highly enough. Unfortunately my husband and I live in another state but if we lived closer we would definitely be booking again for smaller things like pet portrait sessions and family photo sessions. always dreamed of having pictures that I could look at and be happy seeing myself in them. The second reason is that pictures are what you have left from this incredible weekend that goes by in a second. Pictures of loved ones, pictures of people you don't get to see often and something that was most important to me was having the day captured so authentically that you could relive it just by looking at the photos. Rebecca and her team did just that! Rebecca was the first of four photographers that we met with. We had already had the appointments made in one day but after meeting with her we ended up going to two more appointments and then cancelling the fourth because we were so sure that Rebecca was the one. After meeting with the other two photographers we compared them to Rebecca. What it came down to for my husband, my parents, and for me was how comfortable we all felt in front of her. She was so approachable and made me feel like I had known her forever after just meeting her. Of course I never doubted our decision but you don't really know until you see your actual photos from the day and let me tell you our decision was most definitely the right one. Not only did Rebecca make us feel comfortable the day of but she constantly reminded us to be in the moment with one another and just to focus on one another which in the whirl of the day is a much needed reminder. Rebecca got us our photos two weeks after our wedding which is very rare and was a special circumstance but goes to show you that she is committed to giving you 150%. Seeing our photos we could truly relive the spectacular day and watch the photos come to life as everyone's emotions were captured perfectly. plan her wedding in 2017, I directed her to Rebecca to capture her downtown Chicago wedding. As expected, Rebecca was absolutely amazing. Fast-forward to 2018, I got engaged and quickly (like, within a week) contacted Rebecca for our engagement photos. Since we were planning a destination / out of the country wedding, at the time, I had booked a local photographer thinking that was the thing to do ... but after the engagement session we decided to book Rebecca for our wedding weekend, too, and OMG, best decision ever. It's been just about 3 weeks since our wedding, and we've already seen previews and sneak peeks, ahead of our official reveal next month. Rebecca is like an extended member of the family, and I can't imagine anyone else stepping in to capture such intimate moments for us like the wedding weekend. Not only is she amazing behind the camera, she continued to remind me to take it all in and to slow down throughout the day. She makes a mock up of your wedding album before you even get your pictures. This was amazing. We got to see the potential album and decide if we liked the overall flow and then replace photos here and there when we preferred something different. This process has taken our friends hours and hours to go through photos and it took us a little time to look at in advance and an hour - hour and a half to go through it with Rebecca. And now we'll have our album in a month, only two months after our wedding! This is unheard of! Rebecca was great to work with through our engagement session and on our wedding day. She had the whole process under control and kept us on track. Once everything got started I barely noticed her but somehow she managed to get amazing photos of our whole day. Her and her assistant Vanessa were great to be around and so helpful throughout the process. I made the photographer decision as soon as we had a date confirmed because this was the most important vendor to me. The first time I talked to Rebecca we talked for 90 minutes. We just hit it off right away. I am so happy with the decision I made and that I made it early enough to book my first choice. I truly cannot recommend her enough!

My husband hates taking pictures, so when at the end of the wedding his favorite vendor was the photographer, you know they've done A LOT of things right. I think what I especially appreciated at our engagement session as well as at the wedding is that both Rebecca and Nick do such an amazing job with getting awesome shots without making you feel like you're posing. The pictures come out extremely natural and heartfelt and you feel like your big day was truly captured. Rebecca also did an amazing job at helping us coordinate our day and make sure we got all of the needed photos. I never felt rushed through photos or that the photos took up too much of our time.
