My husband and I were so thrilled when we found out that we could have our wedding at Recklesstown Farm Distillery. Not only do they make amazing cocktails, but they also have incr...edible staff. Recklesstown has a down to earth, homey vibe that worked for my husband and I. If you are interested in having a quaint and personal, small scale wedding, then Recklesstown is your venue. When booking the date, we essentially had unlimited access to pick a date, with some exceptions. Our guest count totaled 70 people, which allowed for the inside seating area to comfortably accommodate with the outdoor area to be the dance floor. We did have some rain on the day of wedding, but Recklesstown was great with my husband and I renting a tent.
Note, my husband and I were responsible for booking and communicating with outside vendors. Recklesstown is only responsible for providing the space and cocktails. For private events, you will be responsible for setting up and cleaning up the space when the event is over.
The whole process with planning the wedding was seamless. From setting up the first consultation all the way to last minute touches, the team at Recklesstown was incredible and reliable. Clara, Recklesstown’s Event Coordinator, was accessible and worked with us to make sure that we were on the same page with the owners. My husband and I were able to create our own wedding by picking the DJ, photographer, food to cater the event, and florist. I have the best memories from having my wedding at Recklesstown and I cannot recommend them enough.
