Red Agave was the venue for our wedding in May 2025 and it fit our needs of an 80 person destination wedding perfectly! It provided amazing southwest views with an intimate setting...
for our friends and family for a whole weekend and is truly one-of-a-kind.
We had about 45 guests stay on site at the studios and chalets, which are clean, modern and adorable. We were also able to receive a discounted rate at the Holiday Inn Express, which is about a 5 minute walk away. The fire pit, pool, and sitting areas made it a perfect place for everyone to mingle for the weekend even for those who weren’t staying on property. It feels a little bit like summer camp when all of your guests check in for the weekend in the best way possible.
For planning the wedding, this venue is pretty bare-bones, which means the world is your oyster. We had a traditional ceremony, followed by cocktail hour, and seated dinner with a buffet. We rented all our our tables and chairs from Verve Rentals and Tents, who provided everything we needed with set up and take down. For the rest of the weekend, we had a welcome party with a taco bar around the pool and a farewell brunch (pastries and fruit from Safeway) and were able to host in the space provided. The courtyard is very versatile and provides a stunning backdrop for every event. An awesome bonus is the trailhead leaving from the back of the property -- our guests found it to be an easy way to go on a hike without driving and it provided breathtaking views for our wedding portraits.
The staff at Red Agave is very helpful and friendly. All of our guests commented on how friendly everyone was and enjoyed having conversations with everyone at the front desk (thanks Trish and Heather!). We used Stephanie as our all-in-one coordinator who was in touch with us through the process, answering all of our questions (we had a bunch since we were planning from far away!!). During the wedding, they were very professional and courteous and a blast to work with!
If you are getting married here we highly recommend using the coordinator package! They were all so helpful the day of with setting up and taking down (they set all of our tables up, put out decorations, met with vendors, etc). Also highly recommend using the preferred vendors on the list -- this is a shameless plug for Wil’s Grill’s catering who provided the absolute best food and service for the whole weekend!!! We can’t wait to come back to celebrate an anniversary here one day!
We rented out Red Agave Resort for three days for our wedding, and it was truly magical—everything we hoped it would be. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and such a fun place for...
our guests to stay and relax. Everyone loved the pool and the beautiful grounds, and the red rock backdrop made for the most jaw-dropping ceremony setting.
The staff was incredibly helpful and kind every step of the way. They went out of their way to accommodate us, even allowing us to check in early so we could unload everything for the weekend. We truly loved working with them.
As a local, it was such a joy to share this beautiful corner of the world with our friends and family. The weekend went by far too quickly, but I can’t imagine a better place to have spent it. Red Agave will always hold a special place in our hearts.
The staff at Red Agave is amazing. We planned out wedding from across the country and the staff was able to answer every question and concern. The venue is perfect for an intimate ...
wedding and the cabins are super cute.
Red Agave is the best place to get married in Sedona if you are doing DIY. The views are spectacular and you can have up to 50 people on site with you. The rest can stay nearby wit...
h a couple locations giving discounts with partnerships they have with Red Agave. Book early as they are booked almost every day of the year.
The Red Agave was the most perfect venue choice for our wedding. From the initial tour of the venue, all of the staff members at The Red Agave made us feel at home. Throughout the ...
planning process they were extremely easy to contact and worked with our vendors to make sure everything was in order for the big day. The weekend of our wedding was perfect. Our wedding coordinator Stephanie and all of the staff made sure everything was perfect for ourselves and our guests. The fact that the majority of our wedding guests could stay on the property was our favorite part of the venue (besides the incredible views!) we were able to spend two whole days with our guests and since most guests were coming from out of town this made everything so much easier! Cannot say enough good things about The Red Agave! Thank you for making our dream wedding a reality! Love Kevin & Mekenna
We had our wedding here in June 2023 and we couldn’t have asked for a better venue! It was so nice to have all family stay on site and it was absolutely beautiful! Would recommend ...
for someone who wants a more private wedding while still being at a resort with all of your friends and family!
Very recently had my wedding here. Our families and I stayed on the resort. The staff was very helpful and accommodating in really all aspects. Very straight forward and didn't fee...
l like they were trying to upsell us on anything. Very friendly.
The view is great, and the trail nearby was used for part of our photoshoot and the concrete platform was a nice place for family photos. Everyone we invited had a great time. The prices are especially great considering the high price of Sedona.
Highly recommend.
Our days was beautiful and inexpensive! Thank you!
Red Agave is the best kept wedding venue in Sedona. Perfectly located next to Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte, this quaint resort offers an unobstructed view of the gorgeous Sedona ...
red rocks. The resort has 9 Chalets and 5 studios that all have stunning views as well as mini kitchens equipped with stoves, microwaves, refrigerator and more. It has a heated pool, fireplace and stage which is appropriately placed at the back of the resort backing up to state park land and Bell Rock/Courthouse Butte. It also links up with Slim Shady Trailhead which gives you perfect access to capture wedding photos while being fully immersed in Sedona's wonderful nature setting. With weddings you can rent out the entire resort and sleep up to 60 guests in all rooms (as long as people share). Red Agave works with Verve Events which made planning rentals seamless. I really enjoyed coordinating with the Red Agave team who was there every step of the way and always get happy to help with anything I needed. If you're looking for a picturesque outdoor wedding venue with a lot of amenities to offer your guests during their stay, this is the right venue for you!
If you need a beautiful backdrop at a fair price, The Red Agave is the place to go! We rented out the resort for our small wedding, and our guests stayed in the rooms. It's not a 5...
star resort as you'd typically think of, but it's what they call an "adventure resort" as there are two trails leading off into the National forest. The resort only provides the rooms and the space, so you bring everything in and build to your liking from the ground up. The staff was always very nice to us on the phone and very accomodating. We did run into an issue the day after when checking out, we were missing an unused case of wine, and found it in the mananger, Tracy's car. We were glad to get that back. Otherwise it was beautiful, made for breathtaking pictures, and was within our budget. The rooms are great as they all include a small stove, microwave, dishes, silverware, coffee maker.
Beautiful location! Friendly staff! We loved having our wedding there! The staff was so easy to work with and accommodating (especially since it snowed during our wedding & the...
y had to help us be flexible). A lot of our guests stayed at the resort, and they LOVED it too. The resort is surrouded by the red rocks of Sedona, which made it a beautiful place to wake up & enjoy! We LOVE it...get married there! IT is fantastic & so are the staff. One of the staff women, Tracy, even gave us a sweet wedding gift.
