Red Aspen Photography

us looking joyful and relaxed. She was by far the most organized vendor we worked with, which was so important for such a detail oriented job. Her guidance helped us plan our day out, kept all of us on a timeline on the day of, and she did it all with humor and patience. AND the pictures are amazing! I can't recommend her enough.

kept everything running smoothly all day with the formal photos, and was so easy to work with. Her eye for candid photos is also incredible, as was her associate's. We worked with Sonja for the night before our wedding, in addition to on our wedding day. Both photographers were amazing, felt like friends by the end of the event, and we highly recommend Red Aspen for photos of any special events!

e the process way more fun than we ever expected. The photos completely exceeded our expectations and are beyond stunning—they’ll be cherished forever. We couldn’t recommend her enough!

as able to capture all the colors and details and happy emotions - looking back at the pictures really makes us feel like we’re reliving the day all over again and we will treasure them forever. Also, we had never had our photos taken professionally before our engagement shoot and Ashleigh was so encouraging and made the shoot feel comfortable and fun! By the second time she took our pictures at our wedding, we felt like pros. Beyond her skill behind the camera, Ashleigh is an incredible person and has been a joy to work with. She is super responsive and was able to answer all our questions, even when we had questions beyond photos, like asking for other vendor recommendations. We will definitely be seeking out Ashleigh for all our photo needs going forward, and you should too!

sy to work with and produces really gorgeous, high quality photos. I highly recommend Ashleigh if you're in need of a photographer!

her communications with us which was a stark contrast to several other photographers we interviewed. My husband is not a big fan of being on camera, but at our engagement session Ashleigh made him feel really comfortable with her calm and friendly demeanor. She didn't put us in awkward poses or boss us around, instead she made it all feel really fun, relaxed and natural. At our wedding she did an amazing job of capturing our very untraditional ceremony and reception. Her work speaks for itself, but aside from the beautiful quality of her images, what sets Ashleigh apart from other photographers is her professional communication, and her lovely personality. She'll not only provide you with awesome pictures, but you'll enjoy working with her. I had several guests comment favorably after the wedding that they barely noticed her presence during the reception, and were impressed by how well she was able to capture everything without putting people on the spot or making anyone feel uncomfortable. I highly recommend Ashleigh for all your photography needs!

ding. We've never posed for photos before and weren't even sure we would like any of our engagement photos, but she has an incredible way of making you feel so grounded and in the moment, I never felt like our wedding day flew by because she made sure to give us so many intimate moments to take it all in, all while capturing the most beautiful photos the whole time. We are going to cherish these photos forever and highly recommend that anyone works with her - she is so talented!

ganized right from the start and through to the end, and the images we now have to remember the most special day of our lives are perfect and exceeded our expectations. We will be cherishing these amazing photos for years to come. We couldn't recommend Ashleigh higher!

o much fun. We even got to bring the pups with us for some special photos! Could not recommend her enough :)

d days in advance at increasing amounts of communication. Ashleigh and Tim were incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and, in conjunction with our day-of coordinator, helped to make the whole event go smoothly. Our preview photos were received incredibly quickly and had us excited for the full gallery: in less than a month we received our digital album and the photos are s t u n n i n g. She caught so many candid moments of not only my wife and I, but our guests as well. Well worth the price point and I have zero regrets on hiring Red Aspen Photography.

ed for! We even got our engagement session photos just a few days after our session which is unheard of! We can't wait for her to capture our wedding next!

She held a prelim zoom meeting to go over everything we could expect from her as a vendor and held up everything she said. She had us fill out a very detailed questionnaire to ensure that our wedding day went smoothly and we got all the shots we wanted. After our wedding, she kept us in the loop on everything and gave us timing updates for the sneak peek, gallery delivery, and wedding album. We would absolutely work with her. Thank you so much for all the amazing photos and being such a wonderful vendor to work with!!

graphy, which are stunning, but by Ashleigh’s continued professionalism as well. Ashleigh has a wonderful eye behind the lens to capture and curate moments that are creative & unique for you and your surroundings. We gave her creative freedom early on in our discussions and to see her use of depth, light, composition, and color have given us photos we will treasure for a lifetime. For two years we worked with Ashleigh while we awaited our big day and her continued updates & communication always put us at ease and gave us esurience of what to expect moving forward. As for the day of Ashleigh continued to shine, always checking in us, keeping us informed, directing us without pause or hesitation. We always felt at ease with her around. I think we are both amazed by the level of images captured in such efficient time.

ttentive, and produced amazing photographs! A few moments stood out to us during our experience: 1) Her team will go the extra mile – including hopping in a brisk mountain stream to capture the perfect shot, 2) Instead of a sneak peak, we received our entire wedding gallery a week after the wedding (!) and 3) Being a bit camera shy, we both felt relaxed and natural during both of our sessions. If you are looking for a photographer to capture your special event – look no further!

d creativity to make your photos look so dreamy and beautiful. She has the ability to capture the simple moments and turn them into magical moments behind the lens and with her editing skills. I think it is also important to mention how comfortable Ashleigh made us both feel in front of the camera as she provided great suggestions on how we can pose and just kept snapping away. I am obsessed with her work and will definitely plan to book her for all future photography sessions.

for us with her attitude, pace of work, and just fun demeanor. We so appreciated the way she captured everything we were looking for without taking away from our time with our people—our families and our wedding party loved her just as much. The finished product is absolutely fabulous and the turn around time was so appreciated, we couldn’t be happier. Ashleigh has a way of perfectly mixing the beauty of any location and the vibe of the couple to make you feel like a million bucks on your big day!

ut and was very responsive. The sneak peak photos turned out better than we could have hoped and we can't wait to see the final package.

find someone who captured more candid photos, and someone who captured the beauty of nature. Red Aspen Photographer stood out with the way Ashely captured vibrant colors, nature, and effortless/non staged expressions. During the wedding process, including our engagement shoot, we felt heard and we felt like I could trust Ashley and her team. They were professional, timely, and Ashley provided helpful advice along the way. She was very helpful with our wedding timeline and gave us suggestions to help with the flow of the day. I didn't realize how at ease I would feel on my wedding day knowing that I was working with a vendor I could trust and who aligned with what was important to us. Not only did she capture special moments between my husband and I, but she also captured special moments between guests and our family. I loved that Ashley asked us to trust her process. Her photography is an art and was worth every penny. In the package we purchased it came with a wedding album, and Ashley asked if she could select the photos for the book. When we received the album we were blown away! All of our favorite photos were captured in the book. I am not sure how she does it but she really makes an effort to get to know a couple and find out what is important to them so she can take their vision to the next level. If you're looking for a wedding photographer who creates works of art and captures more than just portraits, look no further than Red Aspen Photography.

oment shots! Will forever cherish these pictures! Thanks Ashleigh!!

ures, but she kept everyone running on time and smoothly. She really stepped in to keep the day going and was almost like a day-of coordinator. She stepped up to help resolve issues and took care of a ton of details. She was EIGHT months pregnant and was running around all over the place and getting the most spectacular angles for my pictures. Ashleigh is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet and is so fun to work with. I was extremely nervous to take pictures since my husband and I are a little awkward but Ashleigh made it so easy for us. We did an engagement shoot with her prior to the wedding day and she took care of everything, gave me location ideas, inspo pics for outfits, helped us with posing, kept us laughing and overall made us less nervous for the wedding day. Seeing her again at the wedding felt like meeting up with a friend and made the whole wedding day so much easier and smoother. I do not have enough words to thank Ashleigh for all the hard work she put in for us. We are so very happy with the way the pictures and album turned out (she made the album for us which was a huge weight off our shoulders). I would give Ashleigh and Red Aspen 100 stars if I could. Can’t recommend her enough!!!

She cares about her clients and truly wants to bring their vision to life. We did our engagement photos and wedding photos with Ashleigh. Initially we didn't want to do engagement photos but Ashleigh had a great point about using them to help us get more comfortable in front of the camera with her. This helped a lot on our wedding day! The photos are STUNNING. I have no words for how beautiful they are. The wedding photo album was prompt to arrive and is amazing. Our day was captured perfectly because of her skill and expertise. I cannot stop looking at the photos! You will not regret using Ashleigh as your photographer. We are so happy THANK YOU!!!

ther in law calls the photos "art" and I think that's about the highest praise we can give them. Both photographers have an amazing eye for capturing beautiful images. We couldn't be happier about our decision of hiring them for our special day. You don't need to look elsewhere, trust me! Ashleigh is the best and I would recommend her services to anyone in a heartbeat!

l setting. She did an amazing job capturing us in our beautiful venue.

flexible and understanding when it came to those changes caused by COVID-19. We just recently had Ashleigh do some professional headshots and family photos for us and she was again wonderful. She has a unique perspective which results in really beautiful photos, with zero cheesy or generic vibes.

rkable. She has such a knack for capturing the spirit of the people she is photographing. She has a very unique and artistic style, but she also listened very closely to what we wanted in terms of the images and setting, and then she delivered precisely what we were hoping for. She also gracefully navigated all of the wedding dynamics to ensure that the guests felt comfortable, and that there weren't any missed photo opportunities. She communicated with us clearly throughout the process and she was a complete pleasure to work with. I can't recommend her enough!!!

felt safe and protected. She is very flexible, easy going and helped my husband and myself, who can be a bit camera shy, feel confident and like there wasn't even a photographer there. We could not recommend Red Aspen Photography and Ashleigh enough- the photos are gorgeous, we cried when we saw them. She captured the beauty of our day and will certainly do the same for you and your partner!

a fun, creative eye. It was great to see her get into a creative mode for some unique shots. We were out on a very cold, snowy day but she was very aware of making sure we were comfortable, warm, and having a good time. Ashleigh has been great at communicating and coordinating with us from the start and has even helped provide other fun suggestions for our big day. After the shoot, her turn around time was fast and the photos were so easy to access! Thanks again Ashleigh - cannot wait for our big day!

h made us feel relaxed and comfortable. She was communicative throughout our contract and always kept us feeling on top of things. Due to COVID-19, our plans were completely rocked, but our top priority was to always keep Ashleigh. Photos matter so much and we knew we HAD to have her. I would recommend Ashleigh 100% of the time for all events and portraits.

way. Once we got to the location, we realized what a great choice we made. Ashleigh scouted the PERFECT locations. It was very natural and comfortable shooting with her. She was very real and helped us pose in ways we would looks best! I highly recommend working with Red Aspen Photography if you want some amazing pictures and a great experience getting them!

k good on camera, and how to make you feel comfortable. I tend to tense up and be stressed about taking photos, and she made it so easy to relax and be ourselves. The photos of us turned out amazing. She also captured some beautiful photos from the details of our day that will help us to remember everything that happened forever. The pictures are so beautiful - we're trying to find ways to display them all because we can't choose our favorites. Highly recommend Red Aspen Photography!

I were looking for our engagement/wedding photographer, we did not have to search far. We emailed Ashleigh with a very last minute request to have our engagement photos done the following weekend due to some unforeseen limitations in our schedule, and Ashleigh made every effort to make sure we could get them done. She re-organized her weekend plans to make time for us, and we could not be more appreciative! Prior to our photo shoot, she spent an hour on the phone with us, getting to know our story and making sure that she would be a good fit for us. She also edited our photos in a very timely manner. She is fun, inquisitive, creative, and an all around awesome photographer and person! We could not be happier with our engagement photos, and can't wait to work with her again for our wedding next year!

know my fiancé and I as a couple and remembered things about us. We had not planned on doing an engagement session but changed our minds because we wanted to make sure we were comfortable with the camera before our wedding day. Ashleigh did not push us to do the longer session and said that 30 minutes was more than enough time to get what we wanted. We met her for the session and had so much fun! She was so easy to work with, very calm, and gave us the right amount of direction without things feeling forced/staged. When something didn't work that she suggested she was easily able to adapt quickly. She let us do what was "natural" for us. We unknowingly went over the 30 minute time frame at no extra cost. We are so grateful for her being generous with her time in order to capture the best moments. We could tell she enjoyed photography as a passion and not just as a job. 1 week later we got >100 photos and we could not be happier. She also gave us several great recommendations for other vendors which was so helpful! We are very much looking forward to having Ashleigh at our wedding 10/9/2021. She is the best decision we have made so far in our planning. Thank you!!

ils and she clearly knows her stuff because she answered all of them with ease. Ashleigh has a very calming and fun presence and on my wedding day that was exactly what I needed. She was willing to stay in the rain while I waited in the car to get the pictures of the rings and flowers I had asked for. She was amazing with all of the guests at the wedding and she knew how to pose everyone in a quick manor and she made sure I got every individual and group picture that I had asked for. Ashleigh is VERY focused on making sure the bride and groom have the best day of their lives and she is there for you no matter what. I cannot recommend Ashleigh enough, I had the most wonderful experience and she was such a huge part of making my wedding day special!!

er photos were AMAZING and we have had so many friends/family reach out and ask who our photographer was because they were so impressed. When we met her for our engagement photos she made us feel so comfortable (especially since we both felt very awkward at first) and worked with us + our crazy Labrador. She’s a BIG dog fan which is a plus in our book. Ashleigh found the most beautiful spot with fall aspen colors for us to take pictures on our big day and they are seriously stunning. Also another thing you don’t think about before the day – she was so good about directing our bridal party and family to get through pictures as efficiently as possible. I’ve been in other weddings where the photographer doesn’t take direction and it is kind of a mess. Our sneak-peak photos came back just a few days after the wedding, and we even got a fully printed photo book with highlights of the day which is such a nice touch – considering most people only use digital prints nowadays! We couldn’t recommend a better photographer!!

but she made herself extremely available, answering all crazy questions we threw at her and offering her advice. When we finally met in person, it was as she knew our family for years. She was helpful providing directions, managed our dogs with care and overall just made everyone feel very comfortable! She has a genuine personality and a true passion for photography. Not only was she amazing on site, but she sent us all of our pictures SPEEDY quick. The pictures were better than we could have imagine! We will definitely be working with her again.

really loved how they turned out from the tone of the color to the natural composition of us. You can be assured that you will get wonderful photos of your big day with Ashleigh behind the lens.

dressed, I needed a moment of quiet as the hustle bustle of the day was catching up with my nerves. As Ashleigh walked outside to capture some dress shots, she allowed me to walk out with her to grab a moment of fresh air and solitude on an otherwise hectic day. While she had a job to do, her understanding of an anxious bride on her wedding day is the exact reason why she is so good at what she does. We worked with her for both our engagement session and wedding, day and were candid about how uncomfortable we were with portrait photography. Her response put us as ease immediately. She worked through our awkwardness and captured our happiest, most candid moments in each session. She even laughed at our awful jokes as we tried to make light of being in front of the camera (or at least did an excellent job pretending to! ;)) We cannot recommend Red Aspen Photography enough. It’s difficult to classify her as a vendor, when in reality she is a partner, and an irreplaceable one on our special day. She so clearly loves what she does, and has such an incredibly talented eye.

tos and both experiences were best in class. We had some tricky weather challenges in May with our engagements (Colorado, duh) and she was so flexible with making adjustments as needed, to get the best pictures we could. We brought our dog with us and she not only made us feel comfortable behind the camera, but was so great with helping out with him too, when he wasn't in the shot. As far as the wedding photos go - where do I begin? Her and her assistant were amazing. They are so detail oriented and accommodating - I truly feel like each and every shot that could be captured, was, and each and every shot is absolutely perfect. We could not recommend her more. Working with Ashleigh is truly a joy and we look forward to working with her for family photos for years to come!

us Colorado backdrop. After meeting her in person and being instantly charmed by her professionalism, warmth, and good sense of humor - we were sold! On our wedding day, Ashleigh and her assistant were AMAZING. Astoundingly well-organized and tuned-in to every element including the weather, last minute changes in our schedule of events, who needed to be where, and even getting our pup to smile! She pulls all of this off while still maintaining connection with her clients, too. Our photos are drop dead gorgeous! I am SO GLAD we hired Ashleigh!! We also did a short engagement shoot with her several months prior, which I highly recommend because it's a great feeling to show up on your wedding day feeling like you already have a strong rapport with your photographer. We LOVE Ashleigh and cannot recommend her highly enough!!

entire wedding planning process, ensuring she captured all of our needs. My wife and I both come from a creative background, so photography was one of our highest wedding priorities. Red Aspen delivered above and beyond. What really impressed us is how prepared Ashleigh is - she always has a back up set of equipment and a reliable assistant. Ashleigh is extremely talented and our photos came out beautifully. I literally gasped when I saw them for the first time. And wow, is she fast! Highly recommend Red Aspen Photography to anyone looking for quality wedding photography.

r and were instantly drawn to her photographs and her personality. Ashleigh took our engagement photos on the Bobo Link Trail - she helped us decide on this spot because having water, ducks and mountain views were all important to us. Ashleigh actually got IN the stream with my (now) husband and I so we could get the wet and wild photos we wanted! Before our engagement shoot Ashleigh even helped me choose a makeup artist (something I'd never done before). She ALWAYS went above and beyond to help me with any wedding related questions. Also, during our wedding planning we decided we wanted a videographer to work along side Ashleigh. I asked for her advice and she quickly sent me a list of venders and through her we got to work with the best videographer (Alpine Tree Films). At our wedding Ashleigh and her assistant was professional, caring and overall magical! We absolutely LOVE our wedding photos and cherish our experience working with this stellar photographer. Lastly, my brother and future sister-in-law loved her work so much they are booking her for their 2020 wedding! Ashleigh is creative, kind and SO helpful. You won't regret booking her for your wedding or engagement photoshoot.

ly helpful, responsive and professional. We had a destination wedding and Ashleigh helped us feel at ease about all the details, including advising on great spots for our first look and bridal party/family photos. Beyond being great to work with, Ashleigh's photos are absolutely incredible. She really listened to what we wanted and we were so thrilled with everything she captured, from the portraits to the candids. Cannot recommend her enough!
