Red Barn Studio covers weddings throughout the Chicago metropolitan area ( the city itself plus the surrounding suburbs). Our wedding packages offer different options and add ons: second photographers, cinematography and drone coverage, High-definition images plus albums. We also offer photo booth rentals to provide couples and their loved ones the ability to create mementos in an enjoyable and inclusive way. In addition, our team is also available for engagement, maternity and family sessions.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The folks at Red Barn Studios are not only excellent at their craft, but they are total professionals from the lead photographer to the photobooth attendant. We planned to have an extensive amount of time in between the time Bogdan (Red Barn photographer) showed up to our getting ready location and when our hair and makeup was supposed to be finished. Due to an issue with another vendor we still ran behind and Bogdan walked into total chaos at our getting ready location. He handled everything so well even though we weren’t ready yet. He dove right into the detail shots and got things rolling. Bogdan made the timeline run as smoothly as possible given the huge chunk of time that was lost due to an issue with another vendor. I would highly recommend leaving ample time for hair and makeup prior to the photographers showing up. Bogdan and the team made up for some of the lost photo opportunities at the getting ready location by getting some portraits of me at our venue, which I greatly appreciated and cannot wait to see. The videographer was consistently looking out for sentimental and fun shots and used his watchful eye to capture some really wonderful moments. The photobooth attendant was patient and so kind. The book turned out great! We are so incredibly excited to see our photos and videos from the day and cannot wait to share them!
12/12/23: Just wanted to update this because we received our photos and videos a couple of weeks ago and they so far exceeded our expectations it is difficult to put into words. We had no doubts our wedding images and videos would turn out amazing, but we are so beyond thrilled with 1. the amount of edited photos we received and 2. the quality of the images and video. We are going to cherish these memories forever — some of which we didn't even know had been captured on camera until we got the photos back! The Red Barn Studios staff captured our first look so well while giving us space to enjoy that special moment. They got so many wonderful family shots, friends dancing and more. We are so grateful and urge you to book with them if you want beautiful, timeless images and plenty of fun shots with your guests! (It is also very much worth mentioning that the photographers got lovely shots of couples and family throughout the reception as well and they are all loving the photos!!!) Thank you so much again to this incredible, talented team!!!!

Bogdan, Anton, and Johnny-Florian were AMAZING to work with. Bogdan, the lead photographer made sure to snatch us for photos whenever he saw a great opportunity. We really appreciate this as we believe our photos are the most important part of our wedding day. Bogdan was also very efficient and direct, making sure that all photo opportunities and requests were completed in a timely manner. He was so fun to work with, too! Anton (videographer) was very fun, and he has a positive attitude the entire day. He was alongside the photographers the entire day, making sure to catch all the special moments on video. We cannot wait to see our wedding video. Johnny-Florian didn’t even seem like a secondary photographer as he led a lot of the photo moments! He was right alongside Bogdan and even had his own ideas for poses and locations around the venue. He was very easy and fun to work with, and he even showed my husband how to properly dip me for a photo and during dancing. :) Finally, Elena worked hard behind the scenes via email, phone call, and video chat to set up our engagement photo session, direct our payments, and assist in creating a schedule for our wedding day. I highly recommend Red Barn Wedding Studio for anyone looking for a wedding photography/videography business in the greater Chicagoland area.
We used Red Barn for our engagement photos and could not be happier with the final results! Bogdan made us feel incredibly comfortable during our photoshoot and Elena was so helpful in getting our photoshoot rescheduled when our original date got rained out. Red Barn was truly amazing to work with, and Bogdan and Elena were phenomenal! The communication was always stellar and nothing fell through the cracks. If you need a great photo/video package (I also recommend the photobooth- it was so much fun), look no further. I don't even know where to start, Red Barn photography was amazing to work with. From the first call to meetings throughout the year to our engagement photography session. to the day of the wedding, unfortunately the main photographer got sick but the replacement photographers they sent were absolutely amazing!! They both had a ton of energy and really took their time and got some amazing shots.

end one of us is assigned to be the photographer "on call" and we never stay uncovered. If by any chance your promised photographer gets sick (we're dealing with hundreds of guests every weekend and does happen to get sick) OR if the photographer promised might end up with a personal emergency ( usually between the time of booking and the wedding day is a year apart and unpredictable events can happen for any of us) we have one of our lead photographers take coverage with no problem. Maks and Sergio ( your wedding professionals) have been in the wedding field for a very long time and they make wedding photography look like an effortless process. Elena & Bogdan were both so patient, accomodating, flexible & just an overall pleasure to work with during what could've easily been a much more stressful experience for both myself & my wife. They took the time to break down all of their package options & streamlined the entire process for us over the span of several question-filled phone calls from our end. We had a great experience with Red Barn, especially our photographer, Maks! He was exceptional to work with and was so kind. He spent so much time with us and was beyond accommodating to make our day so special. To getting on the floor and playing a game with my niece, our flower girl, with a developmental disability to help her feel comfortable and helping sew on a button for the groom, he was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile for us. Florian and Anton were our photographer and videographers for our wedding day, and their professionalism showed. They knew exactly what we were looking for. As soon as they arrived they were friendly, and knew all the shots they had planned. Red Barn not only asks for your preferences, but also makes them a priority. Elena took the time to discuss our wedding timeline and also ensure that everything fit to our liking. They were very easy going, seemed to enjoy our venue and reception as well, which makes it a lot more fun. The photos are absolutely stunning, and they were able to capture breath taking moments better than we had imagined. They exceeded expectations and are very appreciated!

Red Barn was great to work with. We had a nice package with photo, video, and photo booth, plus engagement photos, for a reasonable price. There were a few issues with the photo booth at the beginning of the reception, but they were able to resolve the problem and kept us posted without taking up too much attention on our day. The photos and videos are beautiful, and both were delivered ahead of the contractual deadlines. Bogdan and Elena were great to work with from planning through day of through communicating after the wedding.

All I can say is WOW! We had Elena and Bogdan as our photographers, as well as a videographer. They were so professional, and worked their butts off to get amazing shots from beginning to end. We had a huge wedding and despite the crowd they still managed to get phenomenal shots! My husband hates taking photos, but they made it easy, and put up with our busy day and giant wedding party with ease. I seriously don't even know how to put into words just how amazing this company is 😭😭😭 from the first consultation through delivering the photos, they have not missed a best!!!!
Firstly, Elena and Bogden are so sweet and so easy to work with and truly run an amazing company.
Our wedding day team was Bogden, Sergio and Tony. They made everything stress free and easy, even when a certain bride (hi it's me) was running a quiiiiiite a bit behind in the morning. All three did such a great job communicating with my husband and I throughout the day, we were able to enjoy our celebration while still getting the pictures and video footage we wanted! It was a November wedding and they never once complained about the cold or seemed frustrated by any requests, and they all genuinely seemed happy to be a part of our day- THAT really means something to me.
I could go on and on about how truly wonderful they are to work with. But let's not forget the most important part...THE PICTURES ARE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL 😭😭😭😭 Our gallery came with almost 1500 pictures and I love every single one. It's like I'm reliving the whole day every time I look through them. I could not ask for better. Seriously. I am so out of this world ecstatic with my wedding photos.

Working with Red Barn was a wonderful experience! What drew me to them was their portfolio of work - the photos were so beautiful and many have a unique and vintage tint to them, which really aligns with my style. I also noticed that they took many candids, which was also very important to me. Prior to my wedding day, we met several times to go over a timeline and the types of photos that were most important to me.
On the day, our photographer was truly amazing. We did not do a first look, so our photographer went between the groom/groomsmen and bride/bridesmaids so seamlessly that morning. He was also so knowledgeable on how to pose, which I found to be very helpful. We have so many varied and amazing photos thanks to the care of our photographer and the whole team at Red Barn. I can’t recommend them enough!

We booked Red Barn for photo and video services for our wedding in July. Our package also included an engagement photoshoot. We could not be more pleased with their services. From start to finish, Elena and her crew were very helpful in answering our questions, were attentive to our needs, and made sure they were capturing all the details we wanted for our wedding day. They work together so well and really kept our wedding day running smoothly. On top of their amazing work, they got us all of our photos and videos at least 3 weeks before their anticipated product delivery date. 10/10 would recommend!!

Elena and Maks were absolutely amazing. We had a great experience with them at both our engagement photo shoot and the day of the wedding. Both made us feel incredibly comfortable and they were extremely creative in finding awesome lighting / backgrounds / poses. We chose a package with Red Barn that included engagement photos and wedding photography/videography. It was always a pleasant experience working with Bogdan, Elena & their team leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Great communication and guidance throughout the process. We absolutely loved our photos/videos and we continue to hear positive comments from friends and family impressed with their work, too! I highly recommend Red Barn for future couples.

Red Barn did a fantastic job! Our wedding photos are so joyful and beautiful! The team of photographers were so wonderful to work with and since we spent the whole day with them, that was so important. They really helped us have fun and feel beautiful on our special day! They were also very flexible when our reception got behind and we had to add on an extra hour.

I just received my wedding photos. They're everything I wanted and more. We had a Christmas wedding.. Red Barn captured the beauty of Christmas into our photos.. BEAUTIFUL. I highly recommend Red Barn for your wedding.
We met with several photographers before meeting Elena and Bogdan. We knew instantly Red Barn was who we would go with. It was the best decision we would make. Our photos came out amazing and they got so many fun candids during our reception. We both despise taking pictures but Bogdan and Elena made us and our wedding party feel so comfortable. 10 out 10 highly recommend.
Red Barn Wedding Studio did an amazing job with our picture gallery and wedding videos! It was such a please working with Elena and Bogdan. We were absolutely blown away by Red Barn and what they were able to provide us on our special day. The engagement shoot was a one hour preview of how amazing the wedding itself would be. Over 100 images in that session alone. The wedding itself gave us more images and video than either of us could have possibly remembered on our own. You are probably looking at a ton of photographers and other vendors right now, Red Barn is an amazing choice to make, we highly recommend it.

Highly recommend Red Barn Studio! They were very professional, communicative, and easy to work with through the whole process. I walked away from the wedding day hoping I covered all the bases, got all the correct family combination photos, me and my new husband got enough just the two of us (he very much prefers not to be in front of a camera), etc. because there is so much going on the actual day. I’m not lying when I tell you all those doubts were put to rest and I can relive from start to finish of Elena and Bogdan being at our wedding through the most stunning album they captured. Photos were delivered on time and it has since taken many passes through them all to narrow it down to our favorites, they simply captured our day so beautifully. Thanks again Bogdan and Elena!
Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning all thanks to Red Barn Studio. They knew how to get us into the best positions and captured us at the best angles for the perfect photos. The shots were artistic masterpieces. Elena and her team took the time to make sure they understood what our vision was and captured everything my husband and I wanted on our wedding day. They did a fantastic job leading our 26 person bridal party into shots. Their leadership allowed us to enjoy and soak in the day for ourselves. I knew I wanted to take my bridal party photos at a very large forest preserve but wasn't familiar with the layout but the day of my photographer knew the exact spot in the park where to take the perfect photos and helped our bus transport direct us to the spot. He was right, the location included all the water, forest, and modern shots I wanted which was amazing. What I appreciated a lot was with all their energy and enthusiasm they helped motivate everyone to feel comfortable and able to get into the shots. They helped adjust us if there was an arm out of place, hair was in the way and helped give us cues on what poses to do next which I really appreciated. I loved them so much! All in all, this company is well worth the investment. I will be recommending them for all of my friends future weddings.

There aren’t words for how wonderful these photographers are! They made the entire process so seamless and delivered unbelievable photos. They were so kind and helped us to navigate our big day to capture all the important moments. 10 out of 10 I would recommend Red Barn to ANYONE who needs a wedding photographer!!
Bogden and Elena are amazing! Their entire team on the wedding day was super helpful with just getting us all to relax and enjoy the nervous moments before the wedding! Our pictures and videos from our engagement sessions and wedding day are more beautiful than we could have imagined! Red Bard captured everything we wanted and were extremely friendly. We chose Bogden for his sunset picture and he made sure to pull us away to ensure we got the sunset pictures we wanted. They made us and our entire wedding party, friends and family look amazing on our special day with beautiful forever memories!
We worked with Mak and Elena and they are super attentive to details. Mak went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. He took beautiful pictures; we have been receiving a lot of compliments on how great he is from our guests and the bridal party as well.
I HIGHLY recommend Red Barn Studio for wedding photography. Ever since I first spoke to Elena 9 months before my wedding date, I knew I was in the best of hands. She and her team have so much experience doing weddings and she clearly articulated what I can expect on the wedding day. We had Maks do our engagement photos and I immediately contacted Elena and said I wanted him to also do our wedding. Not only were the photos INCREDIBLE, but Maks made the experience so much fun. He had us laughing the entire time which put me at ease-- and the photos showed that! The day of my wedding couldn't have been more flawless. Elena called me numerous times the weeks before just to check in and confirm the details. On the day of, the photographers were there on time with a big smile on their faces. Every single one of my bridesmaids had the best time working with Maks and team from the moment he stepped into the bridal suite. Part of the reason I was so calm and having so much fun before the ceremony was because of the photography team!!! They truly have a unique eye for stunning locations, they guided me along the way and showed me how to pose, they kept me laughing, and they even went above and beyond during the ceremony to make sure I looked my best all day. They helped me bustle my dress, they fluffed my train, they straightened my veil, and they even protected me from guests who were trying to pose next to me with red wine in hand! All of this attention to the little details led to the most incredible photos I have ever seen. If I had to do this all over again, I would pick Red Barn Studio every single time. I can't thank them enough for providing not only exceptional photos, but an exceptionally fun experience along the way. I will be reaching out to them again for all of my professional photography needs.

Redbarn will exceed your expectations!!! Elena and Bogdan were so personable and supportive throughout our whole wedding process. They helped guide and encourage us each time we were in their presence. Both our engagement and wedding photos were so artistic; looking back at them they reminded us how much fun we had on our special day! We also went with their company for our videographers as well as a photo booth! Our wedding video was breathtaking and they took note of our favorite things as a couple and found a way to incorporate it. Our guests loved the attendant at the photo booth and felt so comfortable to be silly. I would recommend Redbarn 1000 times over.

We loved working with Red Barn Studio. We got a package that included photography and videography, plus engagement session and photobooth. Bogdan, Elena and Gabriel worked very nicely together and made our day stress free. The schedule they recommended by them, worked perfectly with our initial plans and the wedding gallery brought tears to our eyes.
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Red Barn Wedding Studio. We used them for our engagement photos and for our wedding day. In my opinion, a photographer is one of the most important parts of the wedding day because you want to remember your special day as best as possible, and photographers help you do that. The whole process of working with Elena and Bogdan was flawless. They are such a dynamic duo and work great together.
As people who are not at all comfortable in front of a camera, Elena and Bogdan gave us clear direction as to what we should be doing during the posed photos and were very patient and kind during the process. It made us feel a lot more confident and they never made us feel like a burden if we were being awkward!
We will be recommending them to everyone who asks. Their communication is quick and professional, their work is some of the best I've seen, their prices are competitive, and we couldn't be happier that we chose to work with them for our big day.

Bogdan and Elena were great to work with. Elena really took the time to work with us to help create a plan for the day to ensure that we were able to get the best pictures. Her assistance was not only helpful for photo planning, but she was also able to ease some of my anxiety by helping to give me a sense for what our general schedule could look like on our day and ideas to help things run smoothly. On the wedding day, Bogdan did a great job of giving us good direction to get great shots (we are not often in front of cameras and really appreciated his guidance) as well as candidly capturing natural and intimate moments. If you are looking for a photographer that goes above and beyond you need Red Barn!!! Bogdan and his wife had every shot planned out for us ad helped us have fun while taking them! They were so helpful in making the timeline for our day. They have done so many weddings so I truly trusted them to tell me how long things would take. I did not worry about them missing a beat. They make a great effort to meet with you many times to make sure that they are going to shoot the wedding the way that you want. They also offer video which is great to have both in one place! My husband HATES photos and said that he even loved that part of the day. This couple pairing is amazing and really helps to make your day special and take away and stress you have. Our engagement photos were BEAUTIFUL and I cant wait to see the wedding one!
Very good people to work with. Absolutely no issues what so ever. Very professional and made our big day relaxing. We do not have the results of their pictures but we’re not worried about that one bit. I’m sure they are going to be amazing they showed us a couple they took right after we posed. I’ve been to many weddings I can assure you these people at red barn are the best.

Absolutely amazing work! Found Red Barn Wedding Studio on The Knot site. My wife and I researched quite a bit of potential photographers, which can be a daunting task but we were glad we went with them. Bogdan, Elena and his team were very professional, creative and kind. The whole time they knew exactly what they were doing from the beginning.
The photos and videos came out great. We purchased the photo/video package, which was very reasonable in terms of price.
I highly recommend them based on the quality and service that they produced.
Red Barn Wedding Studio did an outstanding job! I would highly recommend them. Red Barn Studio was absolutely amazing and exceeded my expectations. Bodgan was on time, professional, and very easy to work with. Our pictures turned out wonderful and it was all thanks to him. On our wedding day it was actually around 90 F, and he pushed through the sun and heat and made sure that we would get all the photos we had hoped for. Elena, Bogdan, Marius, and Gabriel are amazing at Red Barn! My husband and I are so happy we found them at a wedding expo. We booked them immediately and they shot our engagement and wedding photos! Elena and Bogdan were friendly, courteous, and organized from the beginning of our planning process. During our engagement photos, Bogdan made the experience fun and made us feel comfortable. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding. Elena was very flexible and patient with us. She was accommodating and made sure our wedding could be rescheduled. During our pre-wedding consultation, Bogdan and Elena explained everything perfectly and the plans were very thorough. On the wedding day, everything ran so smoothly. Bogdan, Marius, and Gabriel not only stayed on schedule but were kind, funny, kept us calm, and made our whole wedding party feel comfortable for our photos. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and the pictures are breathtaking! We are looking forward to getting the video back!

I had such an amazing experience with Red Barn Studio throughout the entire wedding planning process! I cannot say enough good things about Red Barn Studio! We got a photo and video package for our wedding day and they did not disappoint! From the very beginning they were beyond helpful. On the wedding day I was very nervous, Max came in and was making everyone laugh and feel comfortable. My bridal party was instantly comfortable which made the day go so smooth. It rained on my wedding day so the outside ceremony was moved inside. This caused a lot of chaos after the ceremony since everyone was in one space. The photographer and videographer were on top of everything and were still able to capture our day perfectly!
Red Barn was the perfect photographer! I had met with other photographers and the moment i met with Red Barn, they were the clear choice! Their portfolio was beautiful! From start to finish, they made everything so easy. The day of they were able to get all the shots we needed and still managed to keep me calm! They knew exactly what they were doing!
