We absolutely love how our photos turned out! Leading up to the wedding Elena ensured that every detail was covered, we had unique adjustments to our timeline from a standard wedding and these were perfectly executed.
Day of, Johnny, our photographer was attentive to detail and creative in guiding photos. He captured such special candid moments of our guests, speeches, and dances. Because he was so attentive to our timeline and what we had communicated as important, we were able to focus on being present in the moment and trust him to capture the memories and pull us aside for moments such as sunset photos. After the wedding, photo turn around was quick and editing was done wonderfully.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. The folks at Red Barn Studios are not only excellent at their craft, but they are total professionals from the lead photographer to the photoboot...

We planned to have an extensive amount of time in between the time Bogdan (Red Barn photographer) showed up to our getting ready location and when our hair and makeup was supposed to be finished. Due to an issue with another vendor we still ran behind and Bogdan walked into total chaos at our getting ready location. He handled everything so well even though we weren’t ready yet. He dove right into the detail shots and got things rolling. Bogdan made the timeline run as smoothly as possible given the huge chunk of time that was lost due to an issue with another vendor. I would highly recommend leaving ample time for hair and makeup prior to the photographers showing up. Bogdan and the team made up for some of the lost photo opportunities at the getting ready location by getting some portraits of me at our venue, which I greatly appreciated and cannot wait to see. The videographer was consistently looking out for sentimental and fun shots and used his watchful eye to capture some really wonderful moments. The photobooth attendant was patient and so kind. The book turned out great! We are so incredibly excited to see our photos and videos from the day and cannot wait to share them!
12/12/23: Just wanted to update this because we received our photos and videos a couple of weeks ago and they so far exceeded our expectations it is difficult to put into words. We had no doubts our wedding images and videos would turn out amazing, but we are so beyond thrilled with 1. the amount of edited photos we received and 2. the quality of the images and video. We are going to cherish these memories forever — some of which we didn't even know had been captured on camera until we got the photos back! The Red Barn Studios staff captured our first look so well while giving us space to enjoy that special moment. They got so many wonderful family shots, friends dancing and more. We are so grateful and urge you to book with them if you want beautiful, timeless images and plenty of fun shots with your guests! (It is also very much worth mentioning that the photographers got lovely shots of couples and family throughout the reception as well and they are all loving the photos!!!) Thank you so much again to this incredible, talented team!!!!

ur event, but Elena sent our full gallery & both videos back to us after only 37 days!! We were SO excited!!
Our lead photographer was Bogdan & Elena was our second shooter. Their presence and professionalism at our wedding was excellent. They helped us stay on time, guided us to take the best photos (we are not naturals in front of the camera), and ensured we got every shot that I put on my list! We love the mixed formal and candid photos that they took of us.
Bogdan & Elena worked flawlessly with our videographer. We got the highlight video & the full video, they are beautiful & capture our wedding day perfectly! Our guests loved the photo booth & my husband & I love the album that we got of the photo strips!

, and Johnny arrived, we felt completely at ease — they blended into the background in the best way possible, capturing every real moment without making us pose awkwardly every five minutes. The sneak peeks alone already made me cry, and I can't even imagine what the final photos and video are going to do to me. The photo booth was a HIT — our guests are still talking about it. From our engagement shoot, Bogdan was very kind and very easy to work with. Throughout the process, Bogdan and Elena were always extremely organized and helped answer any questions that we had. We had multiple meetings with Bogdan to discuss details and we even filled out a questionnaire form that allowed us to describe what details we wanted captured on our big day.
On our wedding day, Bogdan, Elena, and Florian were all incredible to work with! They helped provide guidance when it was needed and were so creative as well. We loved how everything turned out. All of our pictures and two wedding videos turned out absolutely beautiful. We felt very lucky to have them as our wedding photographers/videographers.

From the start, working with Elena was a wonderful experience. She is incredibly organized, responsive, and clear in her communication. We were fortunate to work with Maks as our photographer, and he was amazing from our engagement session all the way through our wedding day. On wedding day, they were so efficient and showed up on time. They also made sure to pull me for pictures at sunset just like I had asked when I even forgot about it! derstand what we were really looking for in our wedding photos. Our photos are stunning! Our photographer had a great artistic eye and was also very mindful of the background, doing his best to capture photos without other people or cars in them since we had some photos done at a park.
They delivered our photos promptly within the time they had specified (actually a little bit earlier than they stated)!
We really appreciate that you get an online gallery to share with friends&family, and they mail a USB stick of the photos as well.

dan and the team were professional, attentive, and overall amazing. Everyone loved our photos from the small wedding and I can't wait to see our photos from the big one. Our sneak peaks are out of this world. I instantly fell in love with them. They capture our moments in a way that shows love for each other through photos. ally shy dog and he did well making sure she was comfortable and in the shots we wanted. For our wedding, the photos were exactly what we dreamed of. A perfect caption of our day. We did videography with them too, and the video made me cry 10x harder than the day of my wedding. They do fantastic work! The only thing is having to keep up with them on making sure they schedule your engagement shoot and such, they are always so busy!

the must have photos in a timely manner. My husband and I were paired with Maks who was the perfect fit for us. He had high energy but also a calming factor for the day. He would do all things necessary to create a perfect shot- including furniture arrangement, climbing up 5 flights of stairs or meandering into flowers to capture the perfect image. The photos he created were a dream and we were EXTREMELY pleased with the result. If you want amazing photos but to not be stressed about it the day of- Maks is your guy! 10/10
Extra credit, Maks also was my impromptu bridesmaid and he helped bustle my gown when my bridesmaids were struggling!!

In the morning, the girls we were running behind due to the makeup artist arriving late, but Bogdan began taking detail photos and helped the bride (me) remain calm.
Through out the day, Bogdan and his team were very professional, nice, and easy to work with. Bogdan made sure to capture the photos that were important to us, but he also added so many great poses that we cannot wait to see.
We also booked the Photo Booth for our reception and the attendant was great! He helped guests take photos and also added the photo strips to our guest book.
I wish I could give 10 stars, thank you again!

te this as we believe our photos are the most important part of our wedding day. Bogdan was also very efficient and direct, making sure that all photo opportunities and requests were completed in a timely manner. He was so fun to work with, too! Anton (videographer) was very fun, and he has a positive attitude the entire day. He was alongside the photographers the entire day, making sure to catch all the special moments on video. We cannot wait to see our wedding video. Johnny-Florian didn’t even seem like a secondary photographer as he led a lot of the photo moments! He was right alongside Bogdan and even had his own ideas for poses and locations around the venue. He was very easy and fun to work with, and he even showed my husband how to properly dip me for a photo and during dancing. :) Finally, Elena worked hard behind the scenes via email, phone call, and video chat to set up our engagement photo session, direct our payments, and assist in creating a schedule for our wedding day. I highly recommend Red Barn Wedding Studio for anyone looking for a wedding photography/videography business in the greater Chicagoland area.

Every weekend one of us is assigned to be the photographer "on call" and we never stay uncovered. If by any chance your promised photographer gets sick (we're dealing with hundreds of guests every weekend and does happen to get sick) OR if the photographer promised might end up with a personal emergency ( usually between the time of booking and the wedding day is a year apart and unpredictable events can happen for any of us) we have one of our lead photographers take coverage with no problem. Maks and Sergio ( your wedding professionals) have been in the wedding field for a very long time and they make wedding photography look like an effortless process.
