Amber and her team did an absolute incredible job for my wedding last week. All of my bridesmaids had very curly hair & Amber & her team were able to work their magic on it. My wedding day was also very windy, but my updo stayed sturdy through the whole wedding day! I was able to do a trial run with Amber which I loved, and my wedding day hair and makeup turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Amber was very transparent throughout the entire planning process. I am so happy I booked with Red Betty weddings! Highly recommend to anyone in the Austin area.

I started doing hair and makeup professionally for weddings in 2007 and founded my company in 2014. Being a part of your wedding is so much more than hair and makeup for me. I leave every wedding with such a full heart. Being trusted to make you beautiful on your most special day, is something I will never take for granted.

y rehearsal dinner look. Honestly, I wasn’t worried at all - I had already signed a contract with Amber and her reviews were incredible. It ended up being the best of both worlds: I got fully glammed for the rehearsal (far better than I could ever do myself!), and the hair and makeup were fresh in her mind for the wedding day.
I showed her just two or three inspiration photos along with a few likes and dislikes, and she absolutely nailed it on the first try. I received so many compliments that night that I decided to wear my hair and makeup the exact same way for my wedding day - and it did not disappoint.
Wedding day weather was a complete 180, going from 75° and sunny to 40°, windy, and intense. During photos at Chapel Dulcinea, my hair took a serious beating from the wind (especially with my veil pulling so hard!), and somehow it held up. I truly don’t know how she worked that magic.
Beyond her talent, Amber is incredibly kind, calm, and helpful. Our conversations were easy and enjoyable, and she helped keep me relaxed while getting ready for the ceremony. She works quickly without ever feeling rushed, and my mom’s hair and makeup also turned out absolutely beautiful. I’m so grateful I chose Amber - she played a huge role in making my wedding weekend stress-free and special. 💕

I loved that Amber specialized in lighter makeup since I don’t wear a lot of makeup in everyday life. This helped me feel more like myself on wedding day, rather than feeling like I had overly heavy makeup on. Additionally, Amber color-matched & ordered extensions for me, and even washed and prepped them ahead of wedding day. I appreciated how easy she made things for me, it was very thoughtful and amazing service.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for hair and makeup!

but for the day of we went a little more edgy with a smokey eye and light contouring. She managed to slay both, but I'm really glad we went that direction for the day of. I wanted to look natural and glowy, while still looking like myself, and she killed it! By the end, my entire bridal crew and mom looked so stunning. It really meant a lot to me to see us all together looking so gorgeous. I've never felt more beautiful! And even better - the makeup and hair stayed looking flawless even through all the happy tears and crazy dancing at the end of the night! Some might call it witchcraft how well it all held, but that's just how skilled and talented she is. :)

better hands. I sent potential pictures we were thinking as well as what our hair looked like Amber offered an on line meet if we wanted which is excellent for people coming from out of town. She was absolutely fabulous made us feel at ease and made sure we were absolutely happy with both hair and makeup and if we were not totally happy would make adjustments until we were. However this was not required as she did a fantastic job and listened to what we were wanting completed with our hair and makeup. I sent her photos prior to the trial for ideas and had a ton of fun finalizing everything.
