Aaron at Red Byrd Creative did a fantastic job shooting our wedding. His team worked seamlessly with our photographers and we barely noticed they were there (in a good way!). We had some family from outside the country that couldn't attend, but Red Byrd set up live streaming of our ceremony and early reception to make sure they could follow along, including time for my wife and I to get in front of the camera and speak to everyone watching. It was hugely important to us to make sure they didn't miss our big day, and Aaron really delivered for us. Our final Highlight and Documentary films were beautifully scored and edited, and we're so happy we added the extended documentary montage. Having someone take great care to preserve of all the big and small moments of our wedding day meant the world to us. I couldn't more highly recommend Aaron and the Red Byrd team.

Aaron and his team are spectacular. They were thorough in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding and instantly made us feel comfortable. They were professional, personable, and so much fun on our wedding day. Aaron created the most beautiful highlight film and documentary that we will cherish forever. My husband and I hired Aaron and the Red Byrd Creative team to live stream our wedding ceremony and shoot and create a wedding video. Throughout the entire process, we had peace of mind knowing we were in good hands. Prior to our wedding, Aaron took the time to get to know my husband and me and understand what was unique about us and our story. He also asked us what our goals were for our wedding video and what we like and dislike. The day of the wedding, Aaron and his team were on time and very professional. They were respectful of us, our guests, and the church we had our wedding in. We LOVED working with Aaron as our videographer. We booked him a little last minute and we are beyond thankful he had our date available. We just wanted our Catholic ceremony filmed and he worked with us because it wasn't a package he offered for the shorter amount of time we wanted. He captured the beauty of the ceremony and moments before and after. If you are on the fence about getting a videographer...do it! My husband and I are both beyond thrilled that we chose to hire Aaron! He was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. And as a 2020 couple, we had multiple date changes and a venue change. Aaron was responsive, sympathetic, and supportive throughout the entire re-planning process due to COVID. On the actual wedding date, Aaron was the first person I saw when we arrived at our getting-ready location and he didn't hesitate to help my parents and I unpack our car before unpacking his own things. He was so professional and made us incredibly comfortable. As a type-a person, I felt like Aaron always had everything under control and taken care of. He also knew that the vows and speeches were incredibly important to me and so he took extra precautions to ensure the audio would be impeccable for us. We just received our highlight and documentary films from and him WOW!!! We absolutely love them both. Everyone that I've showed the videos to in my family and friends group were also very impressed. Aaron is not only a professional vendor, he's truly talented as a videographer. His skills are evident in the videos he produces. As a writer, I value strong storytelling and Aaron does exactly that through his films. I plan to recommend him to anyone I know who gets engaged!

Aaron made our day so incredibly comfortable and felt like he was part of the family. The final video turned out better then I imagined and can’t recommend him enough! 10/10 would definitely recommend.

After doing a ton of research on videographers, when I saw RBC's work I knew that we had to hire Aaron right away... and we did! It turns out, my intuition was right, and our videos turned out amazing. I think I shed more tears watching the videos than I did on our actual wedding day. My husband and I both thought Aaron knocked it out of the park. The videos are so artistically done and beautiful. Our full length video is also very well put-together and is edited much more than I saw from other videographers which was a major selling point for me! At first we were on the fence about whether we'd have a videographer or not, but choosing to hire Red Byrd Creative was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process! Aaron delivered a stunning 8-minute highlight video of our wedding that we feel perfectly captured the tone of the day, as well as a 2-hour "feature film" that includes the full ceremony, all of the speeches and dances, and longer scenes of different parts of the day. Aaron's work helps bring our memories of that day to life, so we're so thankful to have the videos. Before we got to the end result, Aaron was a joy to work with. He asked a lot of great questions and offered advice for us to consider while we were planning, helping us structure our timeline for the day. He worked wonderfully with our photographer the day of, and he and the second shooter, Will, brought really fun, positive energy to our wedding day (your photographer and videographer will spend a lot of time with/near you the day of your wedding so it's important you like them as people!). Aaron and Will gave great direction throughout the day so we felt relaxed, something that doesn't come easily to us in front of the camera. This is evident in the final product. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is I'm so happy we hired Red Byrd and would 100% recommend Aaron and his team to anyone looking for a wedding videographer. Thank you, Aaron!!

I recently used Red Byrd Creative to capture my proposal. Aaron was very helpful throughout the planning, he came up with great ideas for the location and unfolding of events while we were still deciding. Aaron made time to meet with me the day before the proposal at the chosen location to make sure I knew exactly where to be and what to do so he would get the best shots. He gave me very useful tricks to ensure the moment would be captured perfectly. The proposal went well and the film Aaron put together looked great. The quality of the image was excellent. Aaron was the BEST videographer. He was receptive and communicative with us throughout the entire process- from understanding our style and hopes before our big day to editing our video so that it was beyond what we were hoping for. Red Byrd Creative was absolutely amazing! From the first time we talked on the phone to reviewing our vision for the day and video, Aaron was like talking with an old friend! He was very detail oriented, and was even wonderful enough to seemlessly catch a special moment between my husband and his ill grandmother! They were also very accomodating by have two videographers in two different places while the girls and guys were getting ready. The final video is a masterpiece. We have already watched the highlights real and full length version several times. The cinematography is absolutely gorgeous and the shots of the Detroit Yacht Club and Belle Isle look like a Pure Michigan commercial. The video captures every detail of our day, including the ceremony, toasts, and first dance in way that photos can't. Whether you are on the fence about hiring a videographer, or if you are a videophile, don't hesitate: I guarantee you will be extremely impressed by both your experience working with Red Byrd Creative and by the finished product.

I can not recommend Aaron/Red Byrd Creative enough! There is nothing like having a wedding video to relive the wonderful day over and over again, and the work Aaron puts in to getting all the amazing shots, important moments, little details is great. Pictures are great, but not quite the same as a video. The editing is fantastic and so professional. Aaron is the easiest person in the world to work with.

Choosing to have a videographer at our wedding was the best decision we made, and Aaron at Red Byrd Creative was so fantastic and easy to work with throughout the entire process. He captured every detail and moment from our wedding and melded it together into a beautiful and artistic film, going above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Aaron from Red Byrd Creative is super awesome to work with. Early in our wedding planning process, he met with us to explain and walk through the different options he offers for wedding video coverage. He worked with us to find one that fit our desires and our budget. He was very courteous and made us feel relaxed when we talked with him. He checked in with us throughout the wedding planning process and made sure that he knew where he needed to be and when. We got the wedding teaser trailer option, so he spent several hours with us on a warm day in July interviewing us and getting romantic shots of us walking through a park. It was very sweaty and tiring, but Aaron was able to capture great video and audio. We were impressed with his hard work. We loved the short wedding teaser trailer he put together and all our friends and family enjoyed seeing it as well. On our actual wedding day, Aaron came out super early to make sure he got video of Celisa, Nicholas, the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen preparing for the wedding. Aaron made us feel really at ease and successfully captured who we are as a couple. He arrived early to everything and had great ideas for shots and angles. During the ceremony, he was in the background, but managed to get good shots and captured all of the important moments. He helped make our wedding day go super smoothly. Overall, Aaron is professional and proficient in every aspect of video work. He has quality equipment and handles it all with ease. His editing is excellent and enjoyable to watch. I've done a bit of video editing work in the past myself so I understand the amount of effort that goes into it. I also know that you can't edit a great video without good raw footage and audio. Aaron has this taken care of as well. He is very experienced in capturing good audio, cinematography, lighting, shot composition, and most importantly, helping the people being recorded feel comfortable and natural. All of Aaron's video experience definitely came through in our interactions with him. We highly recommend Aaron and Red Byrd Creative to anyone who wants a high quality wedding video and a great wedding video experience.
