About this vendor
Congratulations on your engagement! We love weddings! The idea that everyone you love will be in the same room to celebrate you two is magic, and documenting it is something we don't take lightly. While we love getting romantic portraits, true candids and details are high on our list. Our goal is that you are able to relive the entire feeling of your wedding day through your photos. It is important to us to get to know you and your love story, so that you feel at ease as though a friend is there documenting the day. We love the nostalgia of film, which is what inspires our custom color filters and photo editing. Capturing authentic emotion is our passion. Let's get coffee and chat! XO

I had the best experience working with Red Cole. They were extremely easy going and detail oriented with the pictures I was hoping to capture. We came into some bad weather on th...
e day of my wedding, but it didn't deter them in anyway. They were very calm and organized which completely helped keeping me and my husband at ease. I would definitely recommend then to any other bride looking for wedding photographers that are talented, extremely detail oriented, and overall easy to work with!!!
Before we got married my husband and I decided that the two things we wanted to invest in more than anything (aside from good food!) were photography and videography. Those are the...
only things you have aside from memories when the wedding is over!
If I could do my wedding all over again, the first thing I'd do is book Jeanne/Red Cole. That's what happened the first time anyways! I contacted her a year ago yesterday to tell her I was engaged and to set up engagement photos right away!
After that I found out my date and prayed they'd be available! The whole engagement session felt like I was in a date with my darling and she was just capturing every little detail of our interactions! And after seeing the photos I knew that was exactly the feeling I wanted captured on our wedding day!
On a scale of 1-10??? 12! They send you a pdf of the schedule a few days before your wedding so that everyone in your bridal party can know what's going on and have it on their phones!? (that is just one example of Red Cole going above and beyond) You have no idea how many times I checked it, I felt like she knew the flow of the day better than me! Jeanne kept us on track for timing the entire time, she met with me several times prior to the wedding to answer questions I had. She even helped me figure out little kinks in my wedding because she's worked with so many through the years she knew what would run more smoothly! I felt like she did more than I was paying her to do. She made sure to ask about specifics like, whether or not I wanted her moving a lot during the ceremony, stuff like that. She took direction from my husband and me not the 30 other people who were suggesting poses and groupings. My family and friends have since hired Jeanne as their photographer because they loved her personality, talent and they way she carried herself that entire day!
My favorite part was how personal she made the wedding. She listened to me more than any vendor, she seemed to really understand my style and let the photography reveal who my husband and I are and how gushy we are over each other! Most of the other vendors felt rehearsed to me, like they act like its special but this is the 400th wedding they've done and every conversation is scripted. I got more excited about my wedding when I spoke with Jeanne about it. She made me feel like everything I picked and every detail that I loved were precious and important to her! She was genuine, and kind, she dealt with the very best and the very worst of my relatives with the grace of Audrey Hepburn! Yeah, she made it personal, and her excitement made me even more excited!!
Red Cole Photo is THE best. Planning a wedding can be stressful and the easiest decision I made was having Red Cole as my wedding photographer. Jeanne and her team pay attention to...
every single detail. Their passion and excitement brought comfort and an amazing energy to our wedding day. I recommend Red Cole Photo to anyone in search for an wonderful photographer.

ely comfortable. We had such a blast with her the whole day and couldn't believe what awesome natural moments she captured! Definitely would highly recommend!

Let me cut to the chase, hiring Red Cole Photo will be the smartest thing you do. I was constantly amazed at how easy everything went working with Jeanne. Her work speaks for itsel...
f, which you can see on their website, but nothing compares to the level organization, consulting and quality that she brought to the table. Best advice I can give you other than simply hiring Red Cole, is do whatever they say. The more we followed her lead the better everything was coming out. Our engagement and wedding photos were so good, the hardest thing you'll have to do is figure out which ones to share. That's because each photo will be amazing. Don't even get me started on how wonderful her personality is. Got a difficult family member or wedding party member? No problem, Jeanne's magic ability to get them to cooperate will fix that. When Jeanne and Cole went above and beyond by one getting on the shoulders of the other in order to get the right for a shot, I knew I had the perfect photographers for my big day. I know everyone says that their photographers are the best, but I can not stress enough how serious I am when I say that Red Cole Photo literally is the best in the business. You'll know it too, when you have your final personalized package delivered to you. I am forever in their debt for what they have done for me and how happy they've made my wife.
When I first saw Jeanne's photography, I knew one day I wanted her as my wedding photographer. Jeanne makes the whole experience incredibly personal, as she focuses on details and ...
strives to achieve everything you desire. I loved meeting with her on two separate occasions before the wedding. She makes an incredible effort to get to know you and your style. Wedding planning can be stressful, especially if you're a DIY gal, type A personality like myself. I knew we were in the best hands when Jeanne ran through her game plan for the big day. It's one less thing to worry about on your wedding day. With her experience, she knows how to get the job done well with high efficiency. She is so organized and professional! Her genuine love for photography and people overflows as she is shooting. She captured memories in a beautiful and true way proving that the best pictures are not posed. I am thankful beyond words for the truly magnificent job Red Cole did not only for us, but for the preservation of our wedding day.
Literally, Jeanne is the best ever. We hired Red Cole to do our engagement photos and our wedding, we went with the top of the line package and I can honestly say I still feel like...
we are the ones who got a deal! Jeanne is so personable and professional. If you're someone who is not comfortable in front of a camera, she will instantly put you at ease. She has an eye for beauty in the details and will make sure your photos absolutely capture everything you have imagined for your wedding. Jeanne comes incredibly prepared and organized and spends time with you to get to know you and your SO to be, to make the photos intimate and real for who you are as a couple. Here are a few special moments and touches Jeanne added to our experience.
-We took our engagement photos right before Halloween, and we thought it would be funny to take a photo in the local graveyard for a "Till Death Do Us Part" Halloween photo. I had suggested this idea half kidding but Jeanne jumped on it. In the midst of a busy photo season, Jeanne paid special attention to get this photo edited before Halloween so we would have it to share with our friends and family!
-I told Jeanne that one of my favorite movies is pride and prejudice and on my wedding day she asked if I was game to take "super magical photos." She scouted out this location at our reception venue that captured the romance and beauty that I loved from that movie. I trusted her to walk through a few brambles and it was completely worth it, the photos turned out magically! She really has the eye!
I want to say that I had looked at other vendors in the metro Detroit area and no one else has quite the vision and style that Red Cole has. The editing style is above and beyond what most other photographers in the area offer. I would say Red Cole is the premier wedding photographer for this area!

tographs are timeless and truly captured myself and my husband as we are. I would highly recommend Red Cole Photo!
Words truly cannot begin to describe the love I have for my wedding photos. In one word, they're timeless. Every time I look at them, I'm reminded not only of the enormous role Red...
Cole played in the ease and simplicity of my wedding day, but every emotion I felt, too. I relive it every time.
The photos themselves are absolutely stunning, and it's apparent how much detail and care went into shooting and editing them. They are classic, not at all dated, with colors, filters and tones that are flattering on everyone. I always say Red Cole captures your best/true self with a romanticized lens. Red Cole captured me how I never thought I would see myself: dreamy, confident and classic.
Often times in wedding photography, I notice the details are overlooked or shot in a cliché way that feels forced. Red Cole shoots in a way that when I view the photos, it makes me feel like I'm in that very moment. Details were one of the higher priorities for me. Because I'm a calligrapher and artist, I wanted to remember all the thought and care I put into making my guests feel special. I trusted Red Cole with it and they delivered.
Jeanne shot my wedding, and it was the best decision I made. Jeanne is a down-to-earth sweetheart, but the utmost professional. She made my entire party and family feel confident, comfortable and beautiful. She captured every single moment of my ceremony and reception and everything in between. My husband is very camera-shy, but Jeanne made him feel so much at ease and captured his true sweet self. When she's taking your photos, she makes you feel like you can breathe!
If you're looking for true professionals that will help make your day memorable, and timeless wedding photos you will treasure / that will last for generations to come, look no further!
My husband and I absolutely loved working with Jeanne and Cole from the day we hired them. We worked primarily with Jeanne and she was so unbelievably friendly and made us feel so ...
comfortable every time we shot with her. She did our engagement photos and our wedding and she was so professional, timely, and really listened to what we were looking for in our photos. Her photography style is so classic but has these beautiful dark undertones that make your photos feel unique with every shot. I wish I could have them follow me around all day! You will absolutely adore them as much as we did. BOOK THIS PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!

ible and we can't thank her enough. Nicolette and her made sure to get every detail of the wedding. They know how to work accordingly with different crowds. They are the sweetest people you'll ever meet.
We also did the photo-booth with Red Cole and it was a hit! Keely did a great job and was there right on time. She set everything up so it didn't get in the way of the rest of the wedding. It was so much fun that there was a line! All of the pictures are digital so wedding attendants are emailed a link to all of the photo-booth pictures. They are all personally edited by the girls so you know some extra TLC goes into it.
The engagement pictures are STUNNING and we cannot wait to receive our wedding ones! They have the perfect touch of rustic and elegant. They all have "the eye" and the photos prove it. We will go with them for all things photography all of the time!
