We loved all our vendors, but having Clay and Lisa there to capture every emotion and moment of our wedding day, from silly to sweet, was the best decision we made. We were so fortunate to have met with a videographer first, who shared a list of photographers that they believe not only produce incredible work, but also have had good experiences working with previously. This allowed us to narrow our search and helped us make one of the toughest wedding planning decisions. That evening, we took the list home and researched each photographer. When we went to Red Gallery Photography’s website, I remember being wowed by how elegant and natural all of their pictures looked. Not one photograph looked posed. Right then and there we sent Red Gallery a message directly from their website, inquiring about their availability for our early July wedding. We were impressed with how prompt Clay was to respond, letting us know they were available for our wedding date and inquired about a time to meet. Red Gallery Photography was the first photographer we met with AND the last! From the moment we saw Clay’s smiling face on his front porch entrance, we knew his outgoing personality would be a perfect fit for our large wedding bridal party and guest list. After spending less than an hour with Clay and learning about his photography style, we knew he would be the ONE who could capture our wedding day exactly as we envisioned. Clay also photographed our engagement session, which was a great trial run prior to our big day. When he asked where we wanted to shoot our sessions, we told him to choose – he knows the best spots around Columbus. our day run smoothly. We got married at the Franklin Park Conservatory and he knew all the best photo spots, which allowed us to get tons of great pics in a short amount of time. In addition, the photos we received were so expertly edited and presented. I didn't have to pick the group shot where no one was blinking, or search through 10 almost identical pictures of us in the same pose to find the best one– Clay did all of that for us. He picked the best photos and what we got was a beautiful gallery of images that were all 100% ready for framing. In addition, Clay worked with us to find a photography package within our budget. ier with our decision to book with Clay. Clay was gracious enough to create a custom package to allow us to include what we really wanted for our experience, including an engagement session. The engagement session was a lot of fun! Clay had a ton of suggestions for locations in the Columbus area that fit with what we were wanting and was super easy to work with during the session. My husband and I aren't used to having a lot of pictures taken of us but Clay molded and eased us into it by giving us helpful suggestions. By the end we were much more relaxed and had a blast! Our pictures turned out amazing!!! It was clear to us while watching him shoot our photos that this guy is simply a PRO! In preparation for our wedding day, we had the chance to talk with Clay over the phone a couple weeks prior to review the wedding timeline and discuss specific shots that we wanted to include. Clay was punctual getting to our wedding site and managed to take a whole bunch of photos before meeting up with us. He was all over the place capturing the special moments as they were happening and I don't think he missed anything! In fact, most of the time we wouldn't even have known that he was there (in a good way, because he totally just blended in with what was going on) but when we did see him he was always snapping a photo from just the right angle, or changing out his camera lenses to capture the perfect shot. Clay's passion for this hobby is very technical and artistic, both of which he clearly has mastered! We got our pictures back a little more than 8 weeks after our wedding (incredible considering this is the peak of wedding season) and the wait was well worth it! The pictures are beautiful and he did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the day as well as our family members in the moment. There was exceptional coverage of the special points like the sand ceremony, vows and ring exchange, cake cutting, first dance, mother/father dance, kiss, etc. Everyone that we've shared our pictures with are in love with them as much as we are and have all said that they are gorgeous! The day goes by so fast that it is worth every penny investing in an exceptional photographer to capture this day. We are extremely happy with our decision to invest in and work with Clay and have nothing but good things to say about Red Gallery Photo.
