If you’re looking for something unique that your guests will be talking about long after your wedding, book Red Oyster Co.! We had two roaming oyster chuckers during our cocktail hour, and they were an absolute hit. Guests loved that they could walk around and enjoy freshly shucked oysters instead of going to a traditional station—it added such a fun, interactive element to the evening.
One of the best parts is that they don’t require a traditional station, so if you’re working with a tighter cocktail hour space but still want to offer your guests another food experience, this is the perfect solution. Since the oyster chuckers roam throughout the crowd, they don’t take up valuable floor space while still serving tons of guests.
This was actually recommended to us by Monica from Arch Events (the best planner ever!), and we are so grateful she suggested it because it ended up being one of the biggest hits of the night.
The oyster chuckers were incredibly friendly, engaging, and such a pleasure to have at our wedding. But what really blew us away were the toppings. I’ve had oysters plenty of times before, but I’d never seen or tried combinations like the ones they offered. Every topping complemented the oysters perfectly and elevated them to another level.
My husband and I have been talking ever since the wedding about how they were the best oysters we’ve ever had. We genuinely can’t stop thinking about them and are already trying to figure out where we can have them again!

Red Oyster USA sources oysters from the east coast of North America. Suppliers are hand-picked for quality, meaning that each farmer is picked for their expertise. These small farms are run by dedicated, passionate individuals who share the same love for oysters that Red Oyster USA does.
Only energetic and master Oystertainers are selected to work with Red Oyster USA. This concept began about two decades ago in Europe and, after its resounding success, was brought to the United States shortly thereafter. With this caterer, you can avail of a free proposal that is tailored to your wedding's needs. Hi, I am Angelique and moved in Summer 2017 from the Netherlands to US to set up Red Oyster USA. We are doing Oystertainment® for almost 20 years in Europe and it was time to expand our business to the US. Since then we did many weddings, rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours, receptions and all kinds of parties and events. To set up a new business in a new country is not always easy with the diference in culture and language (you still hear my Dutch accent). In my free time, I am busy with our 3 kids (who love it here in the US) and their sports. And I love to walk with our brown Lab, Sam through the woods.
