The Absolute Best Venue and Owners; Even in a Storm!
If you are looking for a wedding or party venue in the Laurel Highlands, this is the one. We received compliments from our guests the entire night on how beautiful the venue was, but what truly makes this place special are the owners, Haylie and Brett. They went above and beyond all expectations we had for a venue owner.
On our wedding weekend, the weather was absolutely horrid, complete with heavy rain and 20 mph winds. Because of the storms, we couldn’t even do a proper rehearsal. We came up with a last-minute idea that the venue had never done before to make things work. Not only were Haylie and Brett willing to accommodate our pivot, but they were actively supportive. They cued us perfectly when the time came, and everything ran incredibly smoothly. We literally couldn’t have gotten married without them.
Throughout the entire process, they were kind, communicative, and highly organized. I cannot think of a single thing they could have done better for us. To top it all off, when we came back the next morning to clean up, they already had everything organized for us—it only took 30 minutes to load the car! We also forgot to take pictures of the decorations but the day after, I got a text with videos, pictures, and even some of the ceremony!! I could NOT recommend Red Silo, Brett, and Haylie enough. I am so thankful for everything they did for us and that we found them!
I had my wedding at Red Silo in October of this year and it was absolutely amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous. The guests still rave about it. The swans added a romantic backdrop to my ceremony and the cows across the street even came down to watch our first dance. Haley and Brett were available throughout the whole process and answered any and all questions I had. Their support was amazing and going back I would choose this venue again and again!

Red Silo Events is a charming wedding and events venue that has been operating in the scenic Laurel Highlands of Champion, PA, for over 10 years. Now it is owned and coordinated by Brett Krysak since its reconstruction from a dairy barn to a wheelchair accessible, AC/heated wedding and event center.
Originally constructed in 1931, Red Silo Events' all-wood barn features a 31-foot ceiling and sits on 30+ acres of carefully maintained property. The building was renovated in 2012, retaining much of the original charm, and boasts ash wood floors, hand-assembled crystal chandeliers, and three interior handicapped-accessible restrooms. You can host up to 200 people for your festivities. Additionally, the structure is climate-controlled for maximum comfort. A popular location for ceremonies is the raised outdoor gazebo, which overlooks three sparkling ponds. Before you say 'I do,' you can prepare in the comfortable on-site lower-level bar lounge bridal suite. Ample free parking is available on-site for your convenience and that of your guests.
Red Silo Events offers straightforward pricing in our packages to accommodate different needs and budgets. You can opt for single-day use of the venue or hold an extravagant celebration that covers the entire weekend. Brett can help you every step of the way through the planning process. Decoration rentals are also available to help you bring your vision to life. Included in every package are our black table linens and black chair covers.
