go into her studio and actually make an engagement ring was such an amazing experience, and one that I don't think you can find anywhere else in the area. The ring is gorgeous and when I was in the studio I actually held all the tools and really did put it together which is just such an awesome thing to do for a special someone in your life. I had a say in every aspect of how this ring was made and picked out my own stone with the help of Janeane - I don't know where else you can get this custom of a ring while also being able to put the whole thing together with your own hands. And on top of that, Janeane is a great person to work with and really makes this a very personal experience. She took so many pictures of me while I was making this ring so you really will leave the studio with so many keepsakes. When I first came to Janeane about potentially making an engagement ring for my now-fiancee, I felt very clueless and had A LOT of questions. She walked me through everything, answered my questions, and gave advice when I was looking for it. Communication was fantastic every step of the way, and that was even working around the very busy holiday season. I had a firm date for a proposal and we both worked together to make sure my engagement ring was ready before then with plenty of time to spare. Now in terms of the actual ring, you will be amazed at what kind of ring you will walk away with. If you are thinking that by doing something that is more DIY a little quality might sacrificed, think again. I still look at my fiancees ring everyday and am just amazed at how beautiful it is and how it all came together so perfectly. My fiancee was very moved by getting a ring that was so personal and not just something picked out at a big box store, and she's gotten loads of compliments on it too. If you are at all thinking about doing something a little different with regards to a wedding band or engagement ring, please go to Redbud!!!

During the workshop, Janeane guided us and allowed us to work entirely on our own or with help if we asked. The end product was a beautiful ring that we made and is unique to us.
