Marisa and John were incredible from the very beginning. my husband and I are very shy and were so scared of having to get our pictures taken for our wedding. we have been together...
about 8 years and have about 5 photos to show for it — we hate the camera! but Marisa and John were SO accommodating and made us feel comfortable immediately. they were so personable, so patient, so professional and SO TALENTED. not only did they make us feel comfortable but we could not be more ecstatic about how the photos came out. they were exactly what we wanted (we asked for lots of candids and to remember everyone’s happiness throughout the night). they absolutely nailed it. genuinely could not recommend this couple more!!
Redfield Photography was truly incredible. Marisa and John—an amazing husband and wife duo—made us feel so comfortable from day one. They photographed both our engagement and weddi...
ng, and by the end of it all, they felt more like longtime friends than vendors. Their warmth, calm presence, and attentiveness were felt by our entire wedding party.
Then came the photos… wow. Each image was a beautiful, artful reflection of the moment. Their talent lies not only in capturing what’s seen, but what’s felt. Their online gallery made it so easy to relive our day, beautifully organized by each part of the event.
We never fully understood what people meant when they said, “a picture is worth a thousand words”—until now. Reflecting on our wedding through their lens has been an emotional and priceless gift. We highly recommend Redfield Photography and can’t thank them enough for all their work in capturing the best day of our lives. ❤️

aptured the best day of our lives so beautifully, organically and most importantly elegantly. We loved every single shot M&J captured and will treasure these moments forever. On the day of our wedding, Marisa and John brought the best energy and it felt like they were a part of our wedding party. There were moments where John was running around making sure he was capturing pictures of us with all our friends. Marisa made me, the bride, feel absolutely gorgeous and confident in every single shot. Marisa and John felt like friends on our wedding day and we are so honored to have had them capture all of our special moments. We cannot say enough good things bout them <3
Marisa made sure she got to know us ahead of the wedding and made sure to capture all of our wedding traditions. We had the pleasure of also working with Marisa & John for our engagement shoot, which made having them on our wedding day extra special.
Marisa gave us her phone number and was available to chat over the phone ahead of our decision, which made us feel extra confident.
Don't even think twice, BOOK THEM :)))
Marisa and John at Redfield Photography were genuinely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding - truly. We absolutely LOVED our photos - both engagement and day / night-o...
f - and they are such warm, inviting, friendly, and delightful people to have been by our sides on our big day. They came recommended by our wedding planners and from the initial consultation call - it was clear they'd be the perfect choice for photography. We had an NYC wedding and they traveled to us both for the engagement session and wedding day and were early for both. We had a lovely time getting to know them that day as individuals as we shot photos throughout downtown Manhattan for our enagement session, and that made us all the more comfortable with them when they big day arrived. Prior to the wedding, we mentioned thinking about adding a videographer and they suggested one to us - because we already trusted Redfield and their work, we elected to go with their suggestion without hesitation! On the big day, they captured every single important moment and were constantly around, which was amazing! Many of our guests even commented to us after the fact that they felt the camera was always around flashing and capturing the fun moments - it's not often that even guests comment how great the photographers are! They were very warm to our family and friends and we are so grateful for that. Upon delivery of the sneak-peek photos, we were floored - they were so beautiful. When Redfield delivered the final gallery and photobook, we were in awe - they completely captured the feeling of the night in all the photos and we continue to feel so thankful that they did such an amazing job. We've even elected to send photos with our thank-you cards to each of our guests because Redfield captured so much that we can't wait to share with our loved ones! Thank you Redfield for being the absolute best choice. We will always recommend them as a photographer going forward to anyone looking for top tier wedding photography and kind photographers behind the lens as well - 1000/10 recommend!
Redfield Photography was an absolute dream to work with. From the moment we met them, they made everything feel so easy and natural - exactly what you want on a day as big as your ...
wedding. They’re such a great team, and their relaxed, friendly energy kept us comfortable the entire day. The photos they captured blew us away; they’re not just pictures - they’re moments, emotions, and memories we’ll treasure forever. On top of that, they were super organized, easy to communicate with, and just all-around amazing people. We feel so lucky to have had them there with us.

roll through the photos you can just feel how much love there is, from the first look down to every guest interaction…it’s just perfect. They didn’t miss anything or anyone. This allows us to continue sharing this special day with everyone who we made memories with. We’re going to do what most people don’t after a wedding and send a photo to every guest in their thank you card as well as give them access to a folder where they can see all the guest photos from the day. We’ve already started sending these out and the response from guests has been so heart warming. For example, I got a message from a guest after receiving the photo in their card, “We love this so much. It’s such a beautiful picture of our family it could’ve been our Christmas card photo.” It’s amazing that we’re able to do that without even having asked for it. We’re blown away by how well they captured all the detail photos (reception, decor, etc). I spent countless hours over the last year making this DIY wedding dream come true. It was such an amazing feeling seeing it captured. Not only did they create the most beautiful moments for us to reflect back on but they made our day special just by being a part of it. They are such special people, and we’re grateful we’ve been on this journey with them! I cannot recommend them enough.
Marisa & John perfectly captured the essence of our special day, turning moments into timeless memories. Their attention to detail and creative eye truly set them apart. The two of...
them made us feel special, comfortable, relaxed, and ready for the most important day of our lives. We are grateful for their professionalism and the stunning photos we will cherish forever. Couldn’t recommend them more!

incredible photography team; they’re like wedding day superheroes.
Right from the start, they went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and relaxed as we were getting ready. It felt like having friends around who just happened to be amazing at taking photos. And when things got a bit off track (because let’s face it, it’s a wedding!), John and Marisa stepped in seamlessly, acting like impromptu wedding coordinators (especially in those moments, when it can be hard to get the attention of the actual wedding coordinators as they might be dealing with another issue in the background).
But here’s the best part - they didn’t just focus on us. They zipped around, snapping amazing photos of our guests. Everyone felt special, and we heard so many compliments about how great they were at making people feel special and at ease. It's hard to describe how much of a sixth sense Marisa and John have to be at the right place at the right time and popup to capture so many different moments throughout the day (of not only us - but all of our wedding guests). Our wedding photos came out beautifully, and they really captured all our special moments!
Also, we added the engagement photo shoot with them, which we recommend as it really helps you build a rapport with them and get comfortable in front of the camera (it also helps that John and Marisa are the best hype people). We initially decided to forego it, but decided to do it a week before our wedding (and the Redfield team was super accommodating to let us add it). The engagement photos are beautiful, and we felt so confident and ready to hit our best poses on our wedding day.
Seriously, if you’re tying the knot and need photographers, you’ve got to check out Redfield photography. Best decision we made during our wedding planning, hands down!

imeline and portrait list for the big day, and overall logistics to make sure no important details were miss - they were such a breeze to work with. On the actual wedding day their professionalism, enthusiasm, and overall joyful vibe was exactly what we needed! My husband and I had never taken professional photos before, they made us feel so at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. They made sure we had all the important pics we needed from pre-wedding through the ceremony, and found some amazing spots to take a few post ceremony unique pictures at. We wanted to focus mainly on party pictures and they completely understood the assignment - our guests are still raving about how fun and how present our photographers were! We just received a few teasers and they are absolutely stunning, and truly captured the essence of our incredible day. Booking Redfield Photography is the best decision you can make!

hy husband and I) feel at ease the day of. The managed countless tiny tasks throughout the day, and we can't thank them enough! Although we haven't gotten our wedding photos back, they also too our engagement photos and knocked it out of the park! I am absolutely certain the wedding day photos will be the same!
We got married in a garden, and loved the way they handled movement, colors, and our personalities into each shot. Thank you so much, Redfield!

cent work!
Marisa and John were so incredibly supportive from our very first conversation. We were genuinely excited for all of our events so we could hang with them! On top of being the best people, they are so professional and talented - it truly blows my mind. They capture every emotion from the day - the laughs, the tears (happy of course!), and everything in between.
I really could not imagine our Wedding without them.
STOP YOUR SEARCHING! This is the BEST VENDOR you'll pick for your special day!!!

I do in the ones they took. I love all the vibrant colors- they truly captured the beauty of our venue. Marisa and John were also so much fun to be with all day. They are so kind and comfortable to be around. Choosing a photographer is one of the most important decisions you make when planning a wedding- do yourselves a favor and hire Marisa and John!

ed, and it was the hottest day of 2021 - we were all dressed up trying to look cute and sweating bullets. I had zero hope we’d get a shot out of that day, but it was worth it to get comfortable. THEN the photos came back and they were fantastic! My mind was blown. Fast forward a few months to our January wedding, where it was 12 and windy. Frigid. Some flowers in my bouquet got frost bitten on their way to me and had to be removed. And somehow once again this crew braved the elements and managed to make us look good braving the elements.
The number of people who have told us we looked like we were in a magazine shoot is absurd. (Let me tell you, readers, we are not the modeling types!) thank you for capturing our day, and for being chill when my mom and her crazy friends insisted on “one last photo” for about 20 minutes at the end of the night. We had a blast and I look back on the photos all the time.

hia wedding photographers and just incredibly talented people. I’ve only received my previews and I’m already so happy with my wedding photos. What I loved most about working with Redfield though is how nice and fun they both are. You spend so much time with your photographers on your wedding day and the energy they bring to the day truly matters so much. If you are someone who feels awkward taking photos they are great for making the process feel effortless. Marissa was also highly responsive, available and professional in advance of the wedding. She was flexible and reasonable after many cancelations due to weather for our engagement photos, which I can promise from experience not all vendors are. They were absolutely top tier in every aspect. I truly can not convey how great they were to work with. You will not regret working with them for your wedding day.
I don't know that any review can do Redfield justice. John and Marisa are amazing photographers and even better people. During our multiple postponements they stuck with us at ever...
y turn until we finally had our date.
From our first meeting we felt incredibly comfortable with them and by the time the wedding came around, we felt as though we were working with friends. More than us, they were able to make everyone in our wedding feel comfortable, while also working incredibly efficiently to cover our event from beginning to end.
We used them for both our engagement photos and wedding photos and each picture is more beautiful than the last. Hiring John and Marisa was one of the best decisions we could have made, and if we had to do it all over again, they are the first people we'd reach out to.

could not recommend them enough! They were by far one of my favorite vendors and I would definitely hire them again and again and again. We got back our wedding photos back very quickly and I also highly suggest getting your wedding album made from them instead of doing it yourself. It’s worth it.

y are so good at what they do, and capture the best, most beautiful, happy moments. On our wedding day, Marisa & John were so grounded, calm, fun, and efficient. This was exactly what I needed during a very high energy and chaotic day! They made us feel very taken care of and were able to execute the best shots which involved a lot of organization of various people all throughout the night! Marisa and John are truly special people. Not only as artists, but they make you feel so comfortable and calm during your special day, which is a very unique talent. I am so happy we went with Redfield Photography and cannot wait to see our final photos!

re each moment - laughter, tears and everything in between. We met them over FaceTime and immediately vibed with their chill but professional personalities- and luckily they were available on our Wedding day (July 27th, 2109)!! We did engagement photos which was a great introduction to how to get our photos taken - John and Marisa helped guide us through the day so we were not awkward- but it basically felt like a day popping around the city with friends! We love the results of our engagement photos and they are already framed around the house!! When it came to the wedding day - we could not have picked better people! They basically ran our whole day as they had our photo schedule/groupings down and kept us on track all day long. Even during the reception- We could look to them to make sure everything was running smoothly! It was the best day and they were a huge help to be there! We could not have done it without them!! We 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for the best of the best!!
Marisa + John deserve more than 5 stars. They are professional, warm, and so accommodating. They came all the way to NYC to shoot our engagement photos in the pouring rain and had ...
smiles on their faces the whole time. My finace and I wanted to make sure we chose photographers who made us feel comfortable and captured moments fluidly, rather than making us stiffly pose, and they did just that. We had the best time and can't wait for them to shoot our wedding. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

r ability to get our guard down with casual conversation and humor made the entire otherwise process of being photographed all day very fun and natural. Marisa and John were also great with our families and friends, making sure everyone felt comfortable while also blending in to the event in order to capture the more candid moments. Redfield shared with us a sneak peek of our photos so far and they’re exactly what we’re hoping for; their keen eye and direction has truly captured our personalities and love for one another, and these photos that they’ve taken are truly the treasures we were hoping for from this monumental day in our lives. We can’t thank Marisa and John enough for the part they played in our wedding, and could not recommend them any more emphatically than this!

ented, kind, patient, and will put you at ease. They make taking pictures a blast and will help direct you. By the end of our wedding journey, we truly felt like John and Marisa were our good friends. We HIGHLY recommend them. They are one of a kind!!!

erfectly. We have so many beautiful shots to choose from, the hard part is going to be narrowing them down!
My husband and I are probably not what you would call ‘naturals’ in front of the camera but that didn’t matter with Marisa and John who kept us relaxed throughout the entire day with their warmth and humor.
We can’t recommend them enough - as one of our friends said ‘I’ve never seen such good wedding photos!’

It's taken us a while to write this review as we were speechless when we first saw our wedding photos. We were not thrilled about being the center of attention on our wedding day, ...
and even less so at the idea of having our photos taken, but Marisa and John made us comfortable from the second we met.
Not only did our photos turn out beautifully (seriously, we look at them daily) but we had a blast hanging out with Marisa and John during our wedding they. They fit right in with our families and guests, and the photos really speak for themselves.
I cannot recommend working with Redfield Photography enough. Worth every penny.

e minute we got engaged that photography was going to be one of the biggest decisions we made. We are from CA and searched high and low for the perfect photographer, and after skyping with Marisa & John and combing through their portfolio we knew we had to choose them. From day one, they were quick to respond to emails, eager to answer any questions, and the photos came out beautifully. I get compliments daily about how amazing our photos were. As an Interior Designer, the photo style was super important to me, and I just loved Redfield's bold colors and distinct, editorial style. We did not hire a videographer so having amazing photos is all we have to remember our favorite day. Some of the best shots are the candid ones of friends and family enjoying the day and it's so special to look back and relive all of those moments through our photos. Thank you Redfield!!!
These two are the best period. The best photographers and the best people. Their style is beautiful, editorial, and made our day STUNNING, and this is coming from someone who usual...
ly picks herself apart in photos... I could not do that with their work. The day was captured perfectly and in a way that was even more beautiful than we could have imagined. I mean, we knew it would be great based on their work, but it surpassed what we expected. The best part of these two is spending your wedding day with fun, genuine people. We did engagement photos with them and they made us feel so at ease about something we thought would be so awkward. And doing our engagement photos with them made us so at ease knowing they would be with us on the big day and would keep us comfortable and effortless. John is hilarious just as much as Marisa is sweet and supportive. Just the best. I would keep gushing but I'll try to be brief. Not to mention we got A TON of photos. Think about what would be a lot and then some. And they were ALL so beautiful. I couldn't recommend these two more. Wedding photography can be expensive, but when you have two people that will make the day live on forever so beautifully and will make you enjoy your day that much more just with their presence, it's priceless.

ut the entire process. We opted to do an engagement shoot with them; they hiked all around NYC with us were super friendly right off the bat and made us feel very comfortable the whole time. Our pictures turned out fabulous with a decent turn-around time. For our wedding day, they were very organized and did a great job in helping us keep on schedule and capturing all of the pictures we specified prior. Our guests really appreciated how out of the way they were the whole night. They were more than willing to trek through the muddy gardens to take some amazing photos in the rain. They certainly captured every special moment. We received our pictures in a reasonable amount of time, and of course, they were gorgeous; we and everyone else loves them. Book Redfield - you will not regret it!

ay our wedding photos are the best they've ever seen.
It was also pleasure working with them throughout the process-- they were so on top of their game answering emails/questions thoroughly and quickly.
This vendor choice obviously comes down to taste, but theirs totally fit the bill for me. Their photos were bright, intimate and captured some of the most beautiful moments. They're especially great at incorporating the natural scenery and making it an equally elegant part of the composition. Would highly, HIGHLY recommend for future brides!
