About this vendor
We’re K&L Photography in Portsmouth, NH, offering wedding photography. We’re two best friends who have built our company based off of a lifelong friendship, and we absolutely love what we do. We work 100% as a team together. Like we said, we’ve known each other our entire lives- and it shows with the way we work with each other and with you. We don't see you as our client, but as our friend. After the first few shots, you'll forget the cameras are even there. We want to smile with you, hear your stories, and really get to know you.
We have found a way to be our genuine silly selves while being professional and capturing all of your beautiful candid moments. The genuine belly laughs, in between looks, and romantic gestures are what we thrive on. Yes we will get the posed "ok everyone smile at the camera" photos but our true passion is capturing the genuine love and candidness of your special day, and yes, we will tell you what to do with your hands!
We love working with fun, easy-going couples. We enjoy working collaboratively and developing genuine, meaningful connections with our couples and want you to be comfortable and have fun when working with us. We want your session to be so much fun that you forget that the cameras are even there, allowing us to capture those real smiles! We will make you do some weird things but trust the process, it's only to get the best laughs out of you!
We specialize in Weddings, Engagements, and Portraits. We offer a range of wedding packages to suit a variety of needs and budgets. Package features and options include up to 12 hours of event coverage, Engagement Session, Online Gallery, a keepsake flash drive, and print and album consultations as well as some special one of a kind gifts.
So what do you say? Did we just become best friends? (YUP)

I wish I could leave more than five stars, because working with Kaylie and Lindsey was a dream from the get-go. From the first time we chatted they were so kind and easy to talk to...
, and the photos they delivered were more gorgeous than I could have imagined. They were highly collaborative and interested in what I was looking for, while also finding inspiration from the environment (such as having us go out in a canoe Notebook-style for the engagement shoot, and going to the Meredith town docks on Lake Winnipesaukee for sunset wedding photos). You can tell that they're old friends, because it truly seems like they're reading each others' minds to get the shot they want. Both of them brought such great vibes to every time we met, and we were so happy to have them with us for the wedding because it was just another layer of fun -- so fun it was easy to forget just how hard their job is! If you are looking for photographers who are insanely personable who will deliver photos out of a literal dream, look no further. I will definitely consider hiring them for future life events, and am so happy to have worked with and gotten to know them.
(The Knot won't let me upload example photos, but trust that they are stunning!)

agement shoot to our wedding day, Kaylie and Lindsey created a really relaxed and warm environment, making it easy to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Beyond their amazing personalities, Kaylie and Lindsey do incredible work! They delivered the most gorgeous engagement and wedding albums to us that perfectly captured the joy, love, and feeling of the day. They even went above and beyond by climbing into a tree to shake a branch for the perfect snowy shot! We would work with K&L again in a heartbeat and are so happy we trusted them to capture our wedding day!

ure to put us at ease, especially since we're not used to taking formal photos. Not only did the photos come out great, but they were willing to step in and help on the day of with all the little things that came up. Couldn't recommend them more!
My wife and I cannot recommend K&L Photography highly enough! From the very first consultation to the moment we received our final gallery, the experience was absolutely seamless.

Portsmouth has no shortage of beautiful backdrops, but the team at K&L has a unique eye for lighting and composition that truly sets them apart. They didn’t just take "pictures"—they captured the some of our favorites moments on the day and so much more.
What stood out to us:
The Candid Moments: While we love our portraits, it’s the "in-between" shots—the laughs, the tears, and the quiet glances—that really blew us away. They were everywhere without being intrusive.
Professionalism & Comfort: Neither of us are particularly "picture people", but they made us feel at ease immediately. It felt like having friends behind the lens (which if you haven't met them they are awesome/genuine people).
If you are looking for photographers who are professional, incredibly talented, and genuinely invested in telling your love story, look no further than these two. Thank you, K&L, for giving us memories we will cherish for a lifetime!

Hiring K&L was the easiest and best decision we could make when it came to our wedding. Their work alone speaks for itself. They are beyond talented and each brings a different sty...
le and vibe of photography that compliments each other so well. Two things we really looked for in photographers were if they were LGBTQ+ friendly and if they could capture our day making us feel comfortable but if they could really capture candids of us and our guests on our day. They truthfully exceeded our expectations. They held multiple meetings with us leading up to the wedding and the line of communication was as always open. They were always there to offer ideas, a laugh or to calm our anxious nerves. The day of the wedding went exactly as planned. As two people who get nervous or awkward in front of the camera, Kaylie and Lindsey made us feel so comfortable. Us and our whole bridal party had put our phones away the whole night fully trusting K&L to capture our whole day so we could all live in the moment. Our sneak peek came the next day and was beyond our expectations, not to mention it was a TON of pictures. Everyone kept mentioning how much fun our photographers were and they even made it onto the dance floor with us later in the night! Kaylie and Lindsey are best friends who made us feel like one of their friends on our big day. We couldn’t recommend them more and will continue to name drop them to our friends and family any chance we get.
Hiring K&L Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were easy going, energetic, and made us feel comfortable, but more importantly, they captured the...
best of each moment. I have been fortunate to be in many weddings (groomsmen) as well as performed at many weddings (music), and I have no hesitations to say that K&L were the best I've experienced or witnessed. They command a crowd, make everyone feel involved and do a great job at editing the finished product. I cannot recommend a better pair of photographers for your most important day.
The absolute dream team. Kaylie and Lindsey is everything you can hope for in photographers. I am very picky and want my creative vision to happen. They worked perfectly, it felt l...
ike they could read my mind with how on point their views and shots were. They were so kind and genuinely made the day better. They are a blast to be around and to work with.
Kaylie and Lindsey are the best! We can’t say enough about K&L Photography! Their style of photography is just stunning. Pictures were my biggest concern for the wedding. Not only ...
did I get pictures that I love and will show every single person I can, but I even love the ones where I’m making a silly face or have a weird pose because their photography is just THAT good. The biggest compliment we got from guests was “your photographers were so fun!” So if you are looking for photographers who not only will take the most gorgeous pictures, but will also entertain your guests look no further! I can’t wait to find another reason to work with them again!
Look no further for the BEST wedding photographers out there!! I truly never knew that I could love photos this much. When Kaylie and Lindsey say they want to be best friends, they...
are completely serious!! Within minutes of meeting them for our engagement session, we felt like we had known them for years. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera (which neither my husband or I tend to be), and captured our candid love in the place that we met. I was so happy to have met them before our wedding day, because I truly felt like we had two additional friends coming to our wedding! I felt so comfortable having them there during the most emotional moments of the day – from getting ready with my mom and girls, to the first look, to the post-ceremony overwhelm. They also captured the best, funniest moments on the dance floor that I never would have known happened! They sent us sneak peaks so fast, and were so attentive throughout the whole wedding planning and actually wedding day processes. We are so excited to hang with them again and have them capture more life milestones for us! Your search for the best photographers ever stops here!!!
Look no further—Kaylie and Lindsey are your dream photographers and new best friends! While their portfolio speaks for itself, it’s their ability to capture your biggest life momen...
ts while letting you fully live and enjoy them that truly sets them apart. From our very first meeting, we knew we were in incredible hands. Their energy and warmth make you want to hang out with them just for fun. They have a magical way of putting you completely at ease and before you know it you're looking back at beautiful photos that you cannot believe are of you!
Beyond their technical talent and artistry, Kaylie and Lindsey have a gift for storytelling. They took the time to learn our unique story, highlighting the special aspects of our relationship in our photos. Having mementos of candid moments was especially important to us, and they captured them masterfully. Looking through our wedding album has been amazing—not only to relive our favorite moments, but to see our big day from fresh perspectives, including meaningful interactions between our guests that we missed in the moment.
On top of all that, Kaylie and Lindsey so professional—organized, timely, and thoughtful. They are responsive over email, they have an organized scheduling calendar, they hold themselves to sneak peek deadlines even when they are traveling the day after your event...the list goes on! They understand how complex hosting a wedding can be and make the planning process smooth and enjoyable. We cannot wait to work with them again in the near future for life events both big or small…or just to hang out (hopefully)!
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Kaylie and Lindsey, for perfectly capturing so many precious moments from the most unforgettable weekend of our lives.

photography. They were always very accommodating and professional throughout the whole experience. If we needed them for anything we heard back from them right away. They did an incredible job at our wedding capturing all of our special memories and moments. Everyone in our wedding party could not say enough great things about them. We like the creativity they put into capturing our day naturally. They also provided us with amazing sneak peeks right away! We look forward to working with them again in the future.

th! As someone who tends to be uncomfortable with how I look in photos, they immediately put me at ease and helped me to feel confident and beautiful. We’re also extremely happy with how the photos turned out, and would 100% recommend Kaylie and Lindsey to anyone looking for a photographer!

our engagement session and had a blast! It was our first time having professional photos taken and they made it so easy! They helped us pose and made us feel so comfortable. We couldn't be happier with our wedding photos - they captured everything and their editing style really is beautiful capturing the color and scenery in the best way and still giving a natural feel to every picture. We highly recommend booking K&L for anything photo related, but especially you're wedding if you are looking for trustworthy photographers who will give you the best pictures!

ndsey brought a sense of calm and joy to every moment, helping us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. K&L's organization and professionalism were evident throughout the entire process, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Their presence was not just as photographers, but part of our celebration, capturing our special day with such care and creativity. We couldn't be happier with the experience and the beautiful memories they’ve preserved for us. Highly recommend K&L Photography!"
Where do I even begin! Kaylie and Lindsey were one of the best wedding decisions we made. From our very first call with them, they made us feel confident, cared for, and even more ...
excited. And that’s because along the entire process, we could tell they were genuinely sharing in our excitement. Early on, we asked them for many vendor recs- they were always so excited to share advice. And we even hired our DJ on their reco! And their complimentary engagement shoot was fantastic- we met them in NH and had the most fun afternoon. They completely brought to life our vision of a “cozy bar crawl” (haha). They made the process so smooth and stress-free right up until wedding day- and man, they were the GREATEST presence to have with us that day. It honestly felt like they were good friends at that point! Through the inevitable wedding day ups and downs, they were calm, completely positive, and assured us that everything was going to be great. They captured our day so beautifully - even with the inevitable delays, groom who doesn’t want to leave the dance floor lol. They truly made sure we captured the best photos, but that we still had the maximum time to enjoy the wedding.
And in addition to all that- they are INCREDIBLY talented! We are OBSESSED with our engagement shoot photos, and with the sneak peak photos they sent us just 2 quick days after the wedding! Their style is so natural, candid, and fun- and we’ve honestly never loved wedding photos more.
In case all that didn’t cover it- I recommend them so so highly!

xceptional quality photographs that truly captured every special moment (& from multiple angles!)
They were also great resources for helping us plan out the timeline for photographs throughout the day. They were available to meet with us beforehand to review every detail and make sure they understood our vision for the day.
We were so impressed with how they incorporated our wishes into the day in such creative ways. For example, we had initially wanted to go table to table to take photos with each group during a song but decided against it. Instead, they surprised us with many group photographs of our guests taken during cocktail hour. Another memorable moment was seeing our first kiss captured both straight on overlooking the view and facing our guests. They even captured our families' reactions, something we otherwise would have missed out on.
Overall, we were extremely satisfied with K&L Photography. If they are available for your date and in budget you won’t be disappointed with their work. They truly went above and beyond to capture our special day in the most beautiful way possible.

he day of our wedding, flawless. They are phenomenal at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, which is something my husband struggles with. They are so kind but also no non-sense. They kept the groomsmen in check and on time which was one of my worries! When we got our pictures back they were better then we could have ever imagined. I don't know how I'll ever pick a hand full to print for our house! I cannot recommend K&L enough! I tell everyone I know that is getting married to look into them. My brother-in-law and his fiancé booked them for this year! Thank you Kaylie and Lindsey!!!!
My husband hired Kaylie and Lindsey for the surprise proposal and we felt an instant connection with them. We loved our engagement photos and working with them so much that it was ...
an easy choice to use them for our wedding. They are very professional while also providing such a fun and calming energy to work with. They were organized with all of our family/group photos and got very creative with our detail pictures as well as offering fun photo ops for my husband and I on the wedding night. Kaylie and Lindsey worked incredibly well with all of our other vendors and were easy to communicate with throughout the whole wedding planning process. After the amazing day, we had sneak peaks within two days and all of our photos available within 6 weeks (and we're obsessed with all of our pictures). If I could give them 10 stars I would!

THESE LADIES ARE TRULY THE BEST OF THE BEST! They give their all and more to making sure you have the best photos from any and all events possible. My husband and I still look back...
on our wedding albums and think how we are so lucky to have had them capture our special day; even though it down poured the whole time, we got to still go outside and take some in between and in the rain! They communicate so well and the amount of care they give into each shoot really shows they want to have the couple enjoy themselves too.
When it came to doing a family shoot; they were able to capture (our then 2 month old), in some of the sweetest ways possible and our little family. Which I still have our pictures as some of the backgrounds on my social media and phone because they are that good at their craft.
We will ALWAYS have these women shoot our special events, so we can continue to have them for our lives and nobody else we would trust to capture our growing future!

s as well as during the day of our wedding. These wonderful ladies gave us photos to cherish for a lifetime. They captured the love we have for each other and our true wedded bliss. 10/10 would recommend to EVERYONE.
Kaylie and Lindsey were amazing! They thought of all the little details, were so comfortable, great at posing us (even though we’re awkward) and they made me feel so beautiful!
K&L are amazing! Personable, accommodating, flexible and overall great people and great photographers. :)

n being born, our engagement shoot and most recently our wedding. We literally would NOT use anyone else if we need professional photographs taken. During the shoots they are always so down to earth and so fun to work with. They always make us laugh and think of the most creative ways to get different types of photos with us. My husband and I can be somewhat awkward when trying to "pose" but the photos they end up getting are beyond anything we could imagine! Our son is 19 months old and at our wedding he was nervous around me for some reason (maybe the dress scared him?) but they still managed to get several seriously adorable photos of my son & I as well as several great photos of my husband, me and our son together. We can't thank K&L enough for the years of memories that have helped create for us to always have! We will continue to use K&L in the future as they do not disappoint. We will never be able to thank them for all they have provided to us over the years. We are quickly running out of room on the walls in our house because it's always so hard to narrow down which pictures to choose to hang up!!!

o know us (and vice versa!) and helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera in advance of "the big day." Kaylie and Lindsey are so kind, funny, and personable that our sessions with them were actually fun - huge coming from two people who don't love having their pictures taken! They were very communicative and attentive, making sure to check in about getting all the photos we wanted. I just received our full wedding photo set last night and could not be happier - the photos are beautiful and really capture our special day! I recommend them to anyone without hesitation!

nd and I are very awkward people. It was really helpful that their package came with an engagement shoot and venue visit because it allowed us to get to know them and be comfortable before the wedding.
We love Kaylie and Lindsey!!! Truly can't sing their praises enough, they are just amazing to work with. We had them do both our engagement photos and our wedding, and couldn't be ...
happier with the results. My husband and I are both a little awkward behind a camera, but they made us feel SO comfortable the entire session -- we were laughing and smiling and just had such a great time. Their personalities are so much fun, you can tell they love what they do. I would recommend them to anyone!!
Having Kaylie and Lindsey photograph our wedding was probably the easiest and quickest decision we made during wedding planning! After our first video call, my wife and I looked at...
each other and we both said, "they're the one, hands down". We instantly felt like we just made two life-long friends. When they say they will do anything for the perfect shot, they aren't lying! Kaylie and Lindsey fought through mosquitos and were in the water and climbing rocks just to those perfect photos. We got our photos back and our first thought was; "if this what the engagement photos look like, the wedding photos are going to be AMAZING!"
We loved our pictures so much, we also decided to do Christmas pictures at the Tree Farm mini sessions they do every year (HIGHLY RECOMMEND)!!!
These two are the ultimate duo, our wedding day went off without a hitch because of them. We weren't stressed about if pictures were going to be missed, in fact, we were able to just say to do whatever they want because we trusted them so much. Being friends as long as they have, they have instincts that others won't ever. Getting our pictures back was so exciting, looking through all of them and laughing and crying all over again as if we were there in our day again. We CONSTANTLY are told about how amazing our photographers were that day.
Very affordable too, but we also knew that we wanted to splurge on photos because they are what will live on for forever and memories are priceless. We have now found photographers that have not only become the ones who will be call for the big life events, but we feel as though we've gained a friendship too!
With love, The Brailsfords!
Kaylie and Lindsey were so much fun to work with! Both our engagement and wedding photos have come out better than we could have ever imagined!

ng and understand my rambling muddy explanation of what we wanted in our wedding photography. We left the first meeting knowing we were going to hire them over everyone else!
We thought we threw them a wrench when we asked to do non-traditional 80's style engagement pictures, but they took our idea and ran with it. The final product was better than we could have imagined. They had great ideas and were able to find two perfect locations for the shoot.
We just got our wedding photos back yesterday, and we could not be happier. The pictures were a perfect blend of beautiful, fun, with a touch of our quirky side.
Did we just become best friends? Yup!
We could not be happier with the fantastic job Kaylie & Lindsey did. An amazing duo with a dynamic that can only come from being best friends!...
Dual owners who go above and beyond - these two can deliver what other photographers lack. You get not one, but two amazing photographers that work together with an unspoken language to capture moments from every perspective. They are extremely passionate about their craft, great at framing pictures - capturing not only us, but the landscape in a truly spectacular fashion. Even thinking outside the box and having fun with us wanting a romance novel cover style engagement shoot! We cannot wait to use these awesome ladies in the future for the rest of our life events. Did we just become best friends? - Yes, Kaylie and Lindsay, we most certainly did!

hrough the wedding day, they were professional, enthusiastic and such a big part of the reason our day was such a success! Their photos are absolutely gorgeous. I absolutely loved the incredible amount of engagement photos they gave us - in the shoot that was included in the wedding package. On the wedding day, they listened to everything we hoped for and were there to capture every moment. They were genuinely so excited to capture good shots and were so fun to have as a part of our day. It felt more like having friends taking pictures than a forced photography shoot- exactly what we wanted- while still being punctual and professional. We couldn’t have asked for more!

we had just made instant new friends! They planned the perfect location for our engagement shoot and spent so much time with us making sure they didn't miss any shot. They made us feel so special during the whole wedding planning process and made everything so easy. Even leading up to the big day we never had to worry or wonder about anything with them.
Looking at our wedding photos now we could not be happier! The pictures are better than we could imagined and they captured so many special moments for us to look back on. Having 2 photographers vs 1 is something we didn't think much of, but now we appreciate so much the different angles and vision they each had!
I could go on and on raving about these 2 but just go and book K&L for your photos - you will be so happy you did!
