Paster Ken is amazing! It was very important to my (now) husband and I that our ceremony be the perfect integration of Christ, our relationship with Christ and our relationship. Pastor Ken took great time to prepare us and himself for our wedding day. There was a sense of light heartedness, care, joy and wisdom in our ceremony. It was beautiful. Pastor Ken was remarkable! We chose Pastor Ken based on the amazing reviews he received on the Knot. The reviews did not disappoint. Pastor Ken was fun, positive and energetic throughout the entire process! After requesting a consult, Pastor Ken responded the next day. During the consult, Pastor Ken spoke for about an hour and explained the process of the procession, ring vows and the commitment ceremony. Pastor Ken further discussed the logistics of the day. After deciding to move forward with Pastor Ken, he emailed a packet of sample ring vows and different types of ceremonies to educate ourselves on. Pastor Ken was well prepared and helped us also become prepared for the big day. A month before the ceremony, Pastor Ken scheduled a FaceTime meeting and phone call to solidify the details of the ceremony. On the FaceTime conversation, Pastor Ken walked us through every detail of the ceremony (down to who would walk down the aisle first). Since my husband is a very shy guy, the level of detail provided by Pastor Ken added an extra layer of comfort for my husband . Pastor Ken emailed a script to my husband and I, which we were able to edit with our own preferences (I.e., poems, scriptures, etc). Pastor Ken was always available and eager to offer advice on the script that would be used in the ceremony. Pastor Ken further sent us a couples survey (that we answered) and which gave Pastor Ken insight into who we were as a couple. On the day of the wedding, Pastor Ken was nothing less than spectacular. He was early and offered to help in any way he could. When the ceremony began, Pastor Ken was clam and welcomed everyone to the wedding. Pastor Ken incorporated stories about our relationship (which we mentioned in our couple’s survey) in our ceremony, which gave our wedding guests insight into our relationship. The small facts Pastor Ken was able to glean from our couples survey honestly blew me away! Pastor Ken’s references about us were specific and showed that he spent time learning about us as a couple. Pastor Ken’s effort shined through and made the ceremony between my husband and I much more special. There was a unique connection between my husband and I (as we held hands at the alter) that I don’t think would have been there if Pastor Ken hadn’t incorporated facts about us during his sermon. The entire ceremony was just so memorable and unbelievably perfect! After the ceremony, Pastor Ken stayed to talk to wedding guests and take pictures. He also made a few jokes. He was all around wonderful and such a pleasure to have. I believe all of my wedding guests enjoyed him and my husband and I were definitely thrilled we hired him. I highly recommend Pastor Ken! He was nothing less than phenomenal! Thank you so much Pastor Ken! You were an absolute blessing! I wish we could use you again!

We could not have asked for a better wedding officiant and process than we had with Pastor Ken. Pastor Ken was warm and welcoming and took time to get to know us prior to us booking him. He gave us access to a variety of resources to help us prepare for the big day which included a guide to writing our vows. He put together a script that we reviewed virtually before the wedding . We did a run through the evening before the wedding. The day of Pastor Ken was calm and helpful, and all of our guests had glowing reviews of the ceremony. Pastor Ken did a perfect job on our wedding! Even our guests loved what he said. He thinks of every detail, including stepping to the side for your first kiss so he isn't in the background of the photos. His words were a perfect blend of funny and heart warming. I'm so glad he was apart of our big day!

Pastor Ken was the officiant for our wedding on 6.25. We really didn’t know what to look for in a officiant, besides the basic internet question. All we know for sure as we didn’t want anyone to one way to liberal or to religious, but we wanted to be more open and mix it up since we weren’t doing it at a church church. Past Ken was one of the first people we met with via zoom and to be quite honest we chose him right after our first meeting, even though we had a couple of more meetings after him. It was a vibe! He initiated by providing us with a book about writing and picking your own wedding vows, and this was before we signed with him. When we signed with him he gave us more material about using the ring vowels and Wedding rituals that we could do and stayed in touch. It was nice to know that I didn’t have to chase him around he was really on top of things as far as our wedding and executed our ceremony beautifully. I would recommend him to any couple getting married and if we ever do a vow renewal, hopefully Pastor Ken is available.

We could not have been happier with Ken. He provided great support and guidance leading up to the ceremony and then performed a personal and heartfelt wedding on the day. We initially chose him because everybody in his photos seemed to be having a really good time and he absolutely delivered on this promise. He was a real pleasure to work with and our wedding party and guests absolutely loved him as well.

Pastor Ken is truly a kind and professional man. We were so thankful to have someone with not only experience but a genuine love of officiating weddings and love in general. Pastor Ken was amazing! He made us feel so comfortable from the very beginning and ensured that our ceremony was perfect for us. We booked him for our original large ceremony and he was so patient and helpful as we were deciding on what we would do due to covid. We ultimately ended up having a very small intimate ceremony and it was wonderful. It felt so personal and was seriously more beautiful than we could've ever imagined. Pastor Ken was great at our tiny covid ceremony! He was super professional and personable. He also has a good sense of humor and my husband and I loved that he included personal details about our lives into the ceremony. The premarital counseling sessions he offers were super helpful as well. 10/10 would recommend! We are actually planning to use him again for our postponed wedding next year :)

Pastor Ken was wonderful. He really made my husband and I feel comfortable during pre-marital counseling. My husband had reservations before he meet him but for the first time he was comfortable talking to someone regarding our relationship. He made sure to really listen to our wishes for our cermony and made it all that more beautiful.

We spent a lot of time thinking about the kind of ceremony we wanted - did we want a fully secular one, or more religious? Or maybe both? Our research carried us far and wide, and thankfully brought us to Ken, who did a magnificent job marrying us. After an initial email introduction, we set up an informal meeting at a coffee shop. The first thing you notice about Ken is what a genuine, warm person he is, and we knew right away this was the person we wanted to marry us. Ken is very knowledgeable and super easy going, and in the series of face to face meetings we had during our wedding year, we had laid-back conversations that helped us figure out the kind of ceremony we wanted. Ken provided some questionnaires and quizzes that we had fun filling out, and which helped him to learn more about us and our story. He used our answers to craft the perfect ceremony, personalized for us. Finding the pastor that’s right for you is a very personal thing and should be taken seriously, and on that basis I would highly recommend that you start your search with Ken. I think you’ll find, like we did, that there’s no reason to look further after meeting with him.

Ken was great! We signed up for a few sessions premarital counseling as well as the officiant service. We wanted to have a religious element to our ceremony without it being in a church or be overly religious. He did a great job of balancing the elements that we wanted and having the premarital sessions gave him an opportunity to get to know us so that he could personalize the service to our personalities. Overall I would definitely recommend him.

There's plenty of officiants in the LA area to choose from. I had looked through and talked to many of them, but when I first talked with Pastor Ken it was a no brainer. From our first phone call Pastor Ken was warm, friendly, and genuinely excited for us. We felt like we already knew him when we spoke with him. He was really easy to work with, even given the fact that we live out of the area and had to communicate via phone, video chat, and email. We didn't have a clear idea of how we wanted our ceremony to go or what we wanted to include in it. Pastor Ken was wonderful at giving us ideas and a timeline to work with to fill in the missing pieces. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful and Pastor Ken was one of the compliments we received numerous times throughout the night by different guests. Thank you Pastor Ken!

Ken was wonderful to work with from the very beginning. He was the only officiant we contacted who wanted to meet in person instead of a phone call. At that first meeting, he was warm and personable and we knew we had found our officiant. Ken communicated frequently and clearly throughout the process. He sent us some super helpful e-books that covered different ideas for vows and readings. He also sent us a rough draft of the ceremony so that we could add/change anything that we wanted. I really appreciated that. He did tell us that he would add in a few personal words during the ceremony and these ended up being the highlight for us. My husband and I met doing theater in college and Ken thoughtfully incorporated quotes from some of our favorite shows, along with some references to our hobbies. It made the ceremony feel uniquely tailored to us. We also incorporated a Celtic handfasting, which he handled well. I personally never think twice about the officiant at a wedding, but we had several people compliment us on Ken. Our families really loved him and so did we. Ken’s professionalism put us at ease; we never once worried about his ability to do the job. Most importantly, his love of officiating weddings and genuine care for us elevated our ceremony beyond our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend Ken and thoroughly enjoyed working with him.

I truly recommend pastor Ken to everyone, my guest kept complimenting how great of a ceremony he gave and he gave such touching and gifted words.
