Sonni is not only one of the most talented photographers, but she's also such an amazing person. She captured our engagement in photos when my fiance proposed, so having her photograph our wedding was a true full circle moment and such a blessing for us. As if taking the most beautiful photos wasn't enough, Sonni was also the person who helped us create a perfect timeline and shot list for the wedding day. She is so thorough and on top of everything. My husband refers to her as "a machine" because we truly cannot figure out how she does it all! She is also so great at managing people throughout the day. My favorite photos of the day were Sonni's idea, as she used a moment while we were waiting after the ceremony to pull us aside for gorgeous shots of us outside of the church door. I will be forever grateful that she saw an opportunity for gorgeous shots and took it! Sonni cared about us and our wedding day just as much as we did, and that meant the world to us. Sonni McCune NAILED IT!!!!!! She answered all of my questions and took my requests and visions and brought them to life. She is so fun to work with and never made us feel uncomfortable. Sonni is fantastic in capturing truly joyful moments in photos that will be forever cherished! Working with Sonni was an absolute dream! She knows my now husband from high school, but made me feel comfortable the moment we met. She was extremely professional but knew exactly what to do and say to get us (as the couple) posed perfectly while also wrangling a very large bridal party that was very easily distracted lol. I wanted a photographer who would take charge and help us run photos, but not only did she do that, she helped us run our entire day. She created a day-of schedule without me even asking and made sure that any changes were actually feasible up until the night before the wedding. At the reception, Sonni would even find our parents prior to big events and make sure they were in their seats and ready so they didn't miss a thing! I mean, seriously, not only is her work stunning, but the care and attention she takes for her couples the day of is beyond incredible. PS - I'm one of those people who critiques almost photo of myself and never have I felt like someone captured my/our personalities better or felt more stunning in a photo.

Due to COVID, we are splitting our ceremony and reception to 2 different dates (and year!). Honestly, Sonni made our wedding and engagement photos some of the most enjoyable times of this entire experience. My (now) husband and I are not the most comfortable with photos but Sonni made it fun and easy. Her pictures are beautiful and her personality matches that. Sonni is on time for pictures. She is willing to do anything to make sure she captures your best day. Any ideas you have for pictures she will be willing to do. We climbed up a telephone pole to have a pose. She is kind and courteous. She helps keep everything on track on your wedding day to make sure you stay on your timeline.
