When I say South Shore Sound & Lighting lit up the venue on my special day, I mean, they LIT up a impeccable night I can't and won't ever forget! My husband & I along with our kids and family enjoyed every moment shared. I do highly recommend hiring SSSL for your next biggest event. I promise you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Paul, Tyrell and their entire team were such a pleasure to work with for our wedding this past October! We hired them for music, videography and Photo Booth and everything went so smoothly. The sound during the wedding ceremony was great and was monitored the entire time by their team. The party atmosphere they created for the reception was amazing and got everyone out on the dance floor for the rest of the night. Their online portal for entering all of our planned music (ceremony, entrances, first dance, parent dances) was very easy to navigate as well as adding requested reception music. The Photo Booth was such a fun addition and we cannot wait to see how our video comes out!! We’re just over 2 months past our wedding and SSSL is by far the vendor that we have received the most praise for from our guests. I would highly recommend working with SSSL for your wedding or event!

Paul and Tyrell went above and beyond for my mom's 70th birthday party! From the very beginning they were clear about their services and guaranteed that it would be a night to remember. They kept their words and went above and beyond for this celebration. They kept the night flowing with great energy, capturing key moments and the music was perfect! 5 stars simply isn't enough for them and their company. I would highly recommend them and I look forward to booking them again!

Paul and Tyrell were a joy to work with and I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Their MC'ing and DJ'ing really made our event and the music really fit our vibe. They were organized, communicative, prepared, friendly, and I cannot recommend them enough!

Paul and Tyrell were amazing to work with, and had all our wedding guests dancing all night long. They did a perfect job of making announcements and guiding the evening , and fulfilling our special requests. I can not say enough amazing things about these folks and their services!!! I will recommend them to everyone that will listen. Even with the bronze package (which still includes a good amount but is their cheapest option) we got a LOT for our wedding!!! Stunning remotely controlled ambient lighting (which they adjusted to fit the vibe/mood of songs or events FLAWLESSLY), microphones for the officiant and groom, great handling/babysitting to keep us on time, charismatic . They were SO GREAT with COMMUNICATING! Our venue basically gave them the go ahead to end a half hour earlier than they told -us-, due to wanting to be done by a certain time, but Paul included us on the email to keep us in the loop, and handled the whole debacle with grace and great customer service. Not only did they put together our must play list flawless, they also read the room and the vibe and made everything go PERFECT. They also perfectly nailed the volume at every possible point, ceremony, dinner, dancing, it was never at a level that you couldn't have a conversation. I never left the dance floor, and countless wedding guests have come to us to tell us how epic the DJ was (including a newlywed couple saying they wish they had SSSL for THEIR wedding). And we had a very unconventional wedding and soundtrack playlist, but they never made us feel like oddballs, total zero judgement. So, yes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERYTHING!!!

Couldn’t have asked for DJ for my wedding. They were very easy to work with and accommodating. I have had all my guests tell me how much they enjoyed their time and how great the DJ was. Would hire them again without hesitation.

10/10 Amazing DJ/MC they were beyond professional and such a breeze to work with. And between the perfect lighting and the best music selection they had everyone dancing the night away (including kids, young adults, and the older folks) all the music was appropriate (as the night went on and people left the kicked it up a notch) and was on point! And had so many people come up to us after the wedding and weeks to come commenting on how much they loved our DJ/MC

Tyrell and Paul were absolutely wonderful!! They called us for a phone conference prior to booking, to answer any questions we had, which was very helpful. We met up with them prior to our wedding date, to go over our wedding day timeline, what we would need for our ceremony and reception, and help us get organized for our big day. They were super receptive and polite throughout. We used their mirror booth, which was a huge hit and I loved the up lights! They provided exactly what we wanted for music and kept the dance floor packed all night! We would highly recommend South Shore Sound and Lighting!

Paul and Tyrell were amazing DJs at our wedding and we are so glad we hired them! Leading up to the big day, we met with them twice and reviewed all the details and I was confident that things would run smoothly by the time the day came. They also have a very easy to use website where you submit the types of songs you want and timeline, so that also helped keep us organized. On the wedding day, there were very professional, and everyone had so much fun dancing! The lighting they used was also amazing, and really added to the whole feel of the room. Went to a wedding over the weekend and South Shore Sound and Lighting absolutely killed it! Tyrell and his crew showed the utmost professionalism while at the same time having fun with the wedding party and guests. We had a pretty big wedding party and they were able to effectively communicate with all of us, get us organized and ultimately take amazing pictures. The lighting in the venue was spot on and the music got the party moving! I literally didnt sit down all night and neither did most of the guests. Easily one of the best weddings I've been to in a long time and that's in large part to the service that South Shore Sound and Lighting provided. I'm getting married late next year and Tyrell and his crew gained a customer in me. Give them a call and see what why. In a word, amazing.

First off, let me say that these guys exemplify what it means to do good business. They were very responsive, very accommodating, respectful, and made it very easy to work with them. We even had to change our reception Intro song last minute, and Paul/Tyrell had our second choice ready on deck. They are a great team, and work very well together. When it came to selecting a DJ for our wedding, we were extremely picky and knew exactly what we were looking for. Not only did we want a DJ that had good reviews when it came to music and keeping the energy alive throughout the night, but we also really wanted someone who had great options for lighting. Paul and Tyrell were so great and personable from our first meeting right up until we said goodbye at the end of the reception. They helped us plan special surprises throughout the night and executed everyone of them seamlessly. Our dance floor was PACKED from the moment it opened and continued straight until the last dance. People are still coming up to us today saying how much fun they had and how amazing of a party it was. (People were blown away with the lasers! haha) I cannot recommend these guys enough. If you are looking for a Dj for any type of event, these guys should be your first call!

If you don’t have Paul and Tyrell from South Shore Sound & Lighting at your wedding then you’re doing it wrong. They are absolutely incredible as both djs and human beings. They are so professional, caring, and bust their butt for your entire wedding. They go above and beyond for you, and want to make sure that everyone is always happy. It’s unreal how dedicated these two are. There wasn’t a single person at our wedding that wasn’t dancing, smiling, or laughing the entire night...and thats all thanks to Paul and Tyrell. They think of every single possible detail, and make the place look incredible! They are seriously top shelf as far as we’re concerned. Before the wedding: They meet with you prior to the wedding as many times as you want and constantly make sure that you are comfortable and happy with how everything will go. They make everything feel at ease. We had absolutely no idea how weddings are supposed to be run, so they gave us a ton of different ideas and variations on how we could run our wedding...and at the end of the day they made our wedding everything we could’ve ever dreamed of. They will email you all the time if they have any questions about details, or if you have any questions. They are seriously top notch. Day of our wedding: Paul and Tyrell showed up early to set up for our wedding, and holy crap was it INCREDIBLE. My husband and I were completely blown away. They had our entire day mapped out and made sure that everything ran perfectly, and looked amazing while doing it. They even set up speakers and a table outside at our ceremony and set our officiant up with a microphone so that everyone could hear everything. They kept up with everyone’s crazy requests and I promise you the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. Their lighting set up is a dream come true. I’m trying so hard to convince you that these two guys are the guys that you want to DJ your wedding, because they are unbelievable. Here’s a little example of how they will go above and beyond for you: our videographers and photographer left the wedding, and there was still about 1.5-2 hours left in our wedding, so Paul walked around with cameras and shot the rest of our night for us!!! That’s unheard of...I can’t tell you enough how amazing they are. After our wedding: Paul and Tyrell STILL KEPT IN TOUCH! They asked us how we were feeling, how our honeymoon was, and sent us all of our video footage that they took of us as soon as we got home from our honeymoon!!! They are the most genuine people you will ever meet. What would I change?: If there was one thing I could change about Paul and Tyrell, it would be that I would’ve found them sooner. Seriously they made the entire wedding process a breeze. My only hope is that all of my friends and family who still have to get married, will hire South shore sounds & lighting for their wedding...because I couldn’t imagine attending a wedding without a DJ like them. I booked South Shore Sound & Lighting for photography for my graduation event. I put an ad out on Facebook and Tyrell sent me a personal message for details. He was so attentive, perfect for my budget, and sent along his portfolio of wonderful photos. I couldn't book him fast enough! The night of the event Tyrell and Paul arrived on time and ready to capture the night. So many wonderful pictures, the guests loved the paparazzi feel. I got the pleasure to work with south shore sound & lighting on October 20th 2018 I am a wedding planner . I would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a dj and/or uplighting ! They are very professional was there extremely early to make sure all there equipment was setup perfect for the bride and groom. You could tell they really listened to what the couple wanted had beautiful uplighting set up and even had a fog machine to make it look like the couple were dancing on clouds . Amazing right !! They stay on track with the timeline , and kept the couple and guest happy with a great mix of music. If you looking for a great night choose south shore sound &lighting !

Everything South Shore Sound & Lighting, LLC did was amazing at my brother’s wedding! The music selection was great and everyone was dancing. I don’t dance much, but the DJ even got me out on the dance floor while playing some of my favorite tunes. The truss lighting over the DJ booth was out of this world. They had changed the moods with their lighting, like for the introductions there were bright lights and energy, the slow dances were lit like a fiery amber, the spotlights turned on for the people making speeches, and for upbeat dancing they put the room in a party/club environment with fast changing colors and effects. The Mirror Booth with props was great and I got to take home some funny photos with my family. This was the best wedding I’ve ever been to. Everyone had a great time and I’ll be recommending South Shore Sound & Lighting, LLC to everyone looking for the whole DJ package.

South Shore Sound & Lighting were fantastic! They had excellent communication between the DJ and us. We even had last minute day of changes which they adapted and handled very well. Their online portal made it easy to fill out all the information they needed and their planning forms even helped us remember things we needed to do. Their online music request list was very intuitive and had pre-organized song lists to choose from for every special dance, including the most popular tracks for each part of the reception. The emcees energy was just what we wanted, the introductions were perfect, and he kept the crowd engaged all night. Their wedding packages are reasonable priced and we got much more than we expected. The photographers were personable and professional as they directed our photo with special poses. They got all the essential wedding shots, used their creativity to make amazing scenes from each location, and we got sample wedding photos back within a few days. The Mirror Photo Booth was innovative with a life-sized touch screen, had funny hats and props, and was super popular with our guests. The photo strips were printed out right there after they took their photos. The lighting was a highlight of the wedding! The spotlighting for the special dances was special for us and the uplighting around the room transformed the venue space. The DJ kept the dance floor packed all night mixing our requests in while also reading the crowd. The DJ played slow dances every 30-45 mins and changed the pace, they got all ages to the dance floor. Overall South Shore Sound & Lighting blew us away on every aspect of their work. They really take pride on their work, from the big picture down to the smallest detail, I'd recommend their services to anyone.

From the 1st meeting to the very end, South Shore Sound and Lighting were very professional. They helped me get creative. Gave me many ideas I never thought were possible. The lighting made it look like a fairy tale. The photographers captured every moment. The photobooth was innovative. The announcer followed our timeline to the T. Dj made sure everyone was one the dance floor. Dancing on clouds was breathe taking. My wedding was perfect. This was truly a dream come true.

Very friendly and personable. Easy to work with, made the planning process very simple. Very affordable. I would recommend them, my only advice would be to be very specific if you want things to go a specific way and if you want songs played at a specific time. They don't read minds, but they do what they are asked if you ask them.

Tyrell and Paul were AMAZING!!! They played all the music we wanted to hear and kept the crowd going all night. Their setup looked amazing and lighting was perfect to compliment our decor.
