Linda did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding, she listened to what i wanted and did exactly that. After my trial she made sure i liked my hair and makeup and made a few adjustments that i asked for. She made me feel so beautiful and i got complements all night on my hair and makeup! Definitely recommend her!

Linda is truly an artist! We found Linda through our venue’s blog, and the work she had done with other couples. She knew exactly what we wanted, and was able to personalize each of our looks to feel naturally ourselves. We both got the airbrush makeup and it was totally worth it! I was afraid it would look too done up, but it was very natural and held up throughout the day. My wife teared up during the ceremony and her makeup remained fully intact. I didn’t realize she cried until the following day when she told me. My wife also looked amazing and held out throughout the day. Linda herself was down to earth and had a charming personality. Linda is wonderful – she’s super talented and is just a great person. She did my makeup and hair for my wedding, my mom’s makeup and my sister’s hair. I live in the desert, so when I go somewhere with humidity, my hair gets crazy. I showed her a photo of what I’d like my hair to look like and she did it perfectly – and my hair wasn’t frizzy! I don’t wear a lot of makeup normally, but she made my skin glow and I still looked like myself for the wedding, which was very important to me. It was pretty hot during the ceremony, but my makeup stayed on (even with me crying! Lol) for the entire ceremony and reception. I highly recommend her. She is passionate about what she does and really takes the time to understand what you’d like. We all looked great for my big day!

Linda was extremely thorough with her services so there were no surprises. On our wedding day, everyone was feeling over the top and pampered just as I had wished! My makeup was flawless and now I wish she could clone herself as my personal makeup artist!! Truly Blessed beyond measures !!

Linda is the absolute best, I cannot recommend her enough! She did my hair and makeup for my elopment. She coordinated everything and arrived straight to my hotel room. Linda was so kind throughout the session. She made recommendations for hairstyles due to the weather and made my makeup absolutely flawless! Not only did she do an excellent job on my hair and makeup... she even helped me get into my wedding dress, offered to take me to our wedding venue, and provided great dinner recommendations! Linda was absolutely amazing!! I had no idea how I wanted my makeup done for my wedding, so I just told her the look I was going for and she made me feel so beautiful! She also did all the bridesmaids' makeup and they were all ecstatic. One of them even took so many detailed pictures so that she could have her makeup done the exact same way at her own wedding in a few months! Linda was also just a super friendly and sweet person. We all asked so many questions about makeup and she gave us a ton of tips and tricks to use at home. I felt so at ease getting ready for the big day, it was like we were all just hanging out like old friends.

I was recommended to Linda by my photographer. I did look at other MUAs on Instagram and Linda’s Instagram scrolling through all the photos before I reached out. She was quick to respond and answered all my questions. I was worried about spending the money on my makeup and not liking it or being too overdone. Linda was on time, professional, and did an AMAZING job on my hair and makeup!! I showed her some inspiration I found on Pinterest and she did exactly what I asked for. I wish she could be my stylist everyday! Looking back at the photos, I am very happy that I choose Linda.

I am so happy that I had Linda for the wedding makeup! I did a trial run before the rehearsal dinner day and I wasn’t sure how much makeup I wanted for my wedding. Linda knew which look would look good for me and all of my friends and families were impressed by her work. Linda also did the hair&makeup for my sister, sisters in law, and a mother in law. They all looked fantastic and they were really happy with her work. On the wedding day, it rained a bit but everyone’s make-up was waterproof and they looked pretty until the end! I was very impressed! I highly recommend her to any one who’s having a wedding on the big island!!

Linda's the best! I was planning my wedding from afar and she was so quick and responsive with respect to all of my questions. She was wonderful to talk to on the day of, and created a look that I absolutely loved (I requested a simple, clean look which she nailed). Linda has a great eye for what looks best - at one point, I wanted to change my eyebrows until I realized the way she had originally done it looked way better (she quickly changed it back). I feel it's also worth mentioning that I was worried about finding a makeup artist who could do makeup for people without double eyelids and Linda did an amazing job - no overdone eyeshadow or eyeliner anywhere. My makeup stayed in place all night. If you're getting married in Hawaii I highly recommend you contact Linda - she's the best : )

Linda was such a pleasure to work with on my wedding day! She is such an easy going person and was great to have around when I was feeling nervous and stressed out! I had my wedding down at the beach and i had gotten there late from my hair appointment and linda was standing by waiting for me to arrive! She did my make up our the back of my 4runner and she did my makeup so quickly and I was transformed into another woman! With everything that was going on she was so flexable and understanding! She was totaly ready to do make up even tho I was late and we didnt really have a place to do it at the beach and she was more then willing to do it out of the back of my car! I felt like a queen! She even did my eyelashes! I asked for a natural sparkle and that's just what I got! I had an amazing experience with linda and will definitely get her help next time I have a special event! I wish i could have her with me every morning to do my make up for me!

Linda was beyond awesome & such a pleasure to work with! Planning a wedding from CA was not the easiest, but Linda kept the communication lines open and made me feel so at ease with the whole process. Not only was she right on time @ 7am the day of (in which she had to make an almost 2hr drive to get to the venue), but she kept her bright, bubbly, professional attitude the whole time she worked on my 5 bridesmaids & myself. She even helped me with my haku and pinned it in so it wouldn't fall off. My girlfriends & I were all so happy with the way our hair & makeup turned out, and even with the humidity & rain from a hurricane, our hair didn't budge & our makeup never faded. Definitely an amaxing experience! Linda did a great job of making my bridal party looking their best. She was able to take my pieced together ideas (because I had a very vague description of what I wanted) & brought it all together. I definitely felt stunning, without feeling overly “made up”. And she was willing to drive across the island to Hilo side to do this session. She is definitely worth every penny!

If you need a makeup artist and you happen to be on the big island of Hawaii look no further. Linda is the best makeup artist in Hawaii hands down! First off I had a very difficult time trying to find a makeup artist who was even reliable enough to respond in a decent amount of time. From the initial contact I was so happy and finally felt as if my wedding was coming together. She did such an amazing job with my makeup. She gave me the exact look I was going for. I'm definitely a brown girl and I'm always afraid colors won't match. She got my color perfect! I received so many compliments thank you so much Linda. My makeup lasted the entire night and I have extremely oily skin. Linda was even sweet enough to help me get my wedding dress on. She was so awesome and I'm sure she can make any bride look their most beautiful.

I’m so happy I found Makeup Artistry by Linda. She did an amazing job on my makeup for myself, my mom & my bridal party. She worked with me to have on-site services for my wedding day & everything went so smoothly. All of our makeup lasted 12+ hours and we all kept receiving compliments throughout the night. Linda is amazing! She is professional, talented, warm and a joy to work with. I coordinated my wedding on the Big Island from California, and I reached out to Linda based on reviews from a few websites. She was quick and helpful in responding to my emails so I decided to book her for my wedding makeup and a trial run. Honestly, I am not into makeup and did not know what I wanted. During the trial run, Linda was patient in explaining different options to me and in advising what might work the best for my features and for the sunset, outdoor ceremony we had planned for. She also took time in applying different types of eye makeup so I could figure out what I liked the best. I was very happy with the trial - the makeup was elegant and fresh, and Linda was so easy and fun to talk to. On the wedding day, Linda arrived early and did a fabulous job with my makeup. She also fixed a few loose hair pins for me, even though she was not involved in my hair up-do. Linda was so helpful and sweet, and I felt that she genuinely cared about me and wanted me to look perfect on the wedding day. I would recommend Linda to anyone who’s looking for a talented and gracious makeup artist!

I had an appointment with Linda for a trial-run. I'm having a destination wedding so I wanted to have the trial-run so my makeup looks perfect on my wedding day. Having my makeup done was so much fun! Linda is professional, warm and friendly, and really encouraging! She made me feel comfortable and I was completely at ease. I felt pampered! My friends were wowed by the result and said I look "so beautiful, and just like you, but heightened," which is exactly what I wanted. Not overdone, yet glamorous and elegant. I highly recommend making an appointment with Linda! My eyes in particular have never looked better and my skin looked amazing!

I was so lucky to have Linda do my makeup for my wedding. She did the makeup for me, my mom, and two of my bridesmaids and she did a fabulous job! She was very professional, knowledgeable, patient and also willing to satisfy our needs and wants. She used good quality makeup products and made me feel like the prettiest bride ever. The makeup was also very long lasting. I cried from the start of the wedding...and was tipsy by the end. But I got back to my hotel room with my makeup still looking fantastic, and no scary black eyes! My mom and bridesmaids were very happy about their makeup too. She did a good job listening to the looks we were wanting and applied it with her skill. Thumbs up and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. Worth every penny!
