and was THE most important aspect to nail for our big day. There are a TON of wedding bands out there and we searched hard for about 3 months…It was a painful process, but nothing compared to the individualized and original sound that HH had. They had a unique, tailored, and original sound that most wedding bands did not. For someone who plays music, it was important to find a team of musicians that felt like they weren’t just playing the same old standard wedding song, but rather adding their twist to it and, not to mention, throwing a killer party while doing it. Hudson Horns took this to a whole new level.  We had the pleasure of having the Legends for our wedding on 11/16, and they wildly exceeded our expectations. First, the entire team, including the band members, are an absolute joy to work with. From day one, Rachel answered all of our questions and never made us feel like we were a bother. She understood our budget, vision, and taste in music and worked with us to customize the band the way we wanted. Even when we hit a minor speed bump a week leading up to our day where the guitarist (who I specifically requested on day one) couldn’t make it…Rachel and her team came ready with a new solution, allowing us to be free from any stress in that moment. The owner of the band, Jake, even sent us a personalized message apologizing but reassuring us that our night would be incredible…and he was right.   From the second the band started playing on our wedding night, the guests were already raving. And by “started playing,” I mean the cocktail hour trio…That was the first time our guests got a small taste of what they were yet to bring and we got so many compliments just on that alone. They even threw in some classic rap arrangements into the trio which put a smile on people's faces! Then the actual dance sets started….This is when the compliments came flooding in. “This is the best band I've ever heard.” “Do they have a manager?” “This is a live band?!?” - The reviews raved throughout the entire night while also leaving the dance floor absolutely packed and filled with high energy. Not only did they play in their own unique sound like I mentioned above, but they covered a range of genres, including classic, pop, emo, and classic rock, before bringing it all home with some Frank Sinatra and seamlessly transitioning between them in fun and interesting ways. The singers and horns even got out into our crowd, making the experience even more special.  To put it simply, Hudson Horns is an incredible powerhouse of talented and passionate musicians, business leaders, and tech wizards who together know how to craft a one-of-a-kind experience that is both memorable and exciting. They go against the grain in an industry that seemingly feels flooded with cookie-cuter experiences. They didn’t feel like vendors to us, but rather guests and now long time friends. From the bottom of our hearts, Laura and I thank you all a million times over for your incredible energy and steadfast commitment to making our night one we will remember forever. ELY KILLED IT!!!! From giving us a grand entrance into our reception, to floating around the dance floor and creating vibes with them everywhere they went – they kept our guests on the dance floor ALL NIGHT. Prior to the wedding, we found it hard to picture how the horns could complement every song – but they matched the energy of every single one and added their magic to it. We are still receiving unbelievable amounts of rave reviews about them and the contagious energy and vibes they brought all night. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
