everyone knew their timings and places, doubling as a sort of planner for the day. During the lead up to the wedding, she met with us numerous times, and guided us through both the legal and creative processes. She was patient, understanding and supportive of all our decisions. We opted for a hand fasting ceremony. She tailored it so that it matched our style and beliefs. Jennie definitely put the hours in and it showed. All of guests were complementing us on our officiant. rehearsal and ceremony, Jennie met with us to discuss expectations and help us brainstorm. She was very conscientious about taking our wants into consideration while also giving her own suggestions to steer us in the right direction. During the whole process Jennie was very helpful and even anticipated our needs before we knew we had them. It was evident that Jennie spent a lot of time tailoring our ceremony to uniquely represent our relationship. One incredible asset of Jennie’s is that she has experience as a theater stage manager. Because Jennie has experience as a stage manager, she has a great stage presence and lots of knowledge about how to stage a performance (which at the end of the day is what a wedding ceremony is). We opted to have Jennie at our rehearsal, and we are so happy that we did. She helped tremendously during the rehearsal to ensure the ceremony would go without a hitch the next day. Jennie did a beautiful job crafting and executing the ceremony and we are so happy she was our officiant. Thank you, Jennie!

She was so full of beautiful ideas of what could be incorporated into the ceremony and showed excitement about our ideas as well. We had been thinking about doing a handfasting ceremony, and Jennie’s genuine excitement about the idea and her description of how she loves to do it sold us on it. We also knew we wanted to incorporate our families in the ceremony as well, and Jennie was able to write a ceremony where their participation was natural and wonderful.
After the ceremony, all of our guests told us how perfect she was and how beautiful her words were. Jennie was the perfect fit for our vision, and our guests saw that, too.

We explored tons of options between ceremony rituals and just simple things and landed on just asking my dad and my husbands mom if they accepted us and our family as theirs. Jennie was easily available during the whole process as we had questions and she kept checking in on us through the process until we got our marriage license back. She asked us useful questions we never thought about like asking our grandfathers to sign our marriage license. Which turned out beautifully. We would highly recommend her in the future. She’s such a kind and calming soul.

real gift is taking the responses that collects from the couple and weaving them into the ceremony in a way that creates the tone the couple desires, which for us was warm, loving, serious yet light. During the ceremony, we all laughed at times and cried (happy tears) because Jennie's delivery is just so amazing. People asked how long we knew Jennie, expecting us to say decades, and were shocked to know we selected her based on her excellent reviews. I think that's a testament to Jennie's professionalism, her in-depth questionnaire that gets to the heart of who the couple is together and individually, her beautiful writing, and most importantly her enormous heart. You can tell how much it means to Jennie to be the one to officially bring the couple together in marriage. She wrote an amazing ceremony for us that was beautiful and sentimental. She even printed out our vows on special paper so that we had one less thing to worry about on our big day. She really cares about making your ceremony a reflection of the love between you and your partner and made the process so stress-free! We added a handfasting to our ceremony, and let me tell you, our guests could not stop commenting on how awesome it was. Our wedding ceremony was exactly what we imagined. Jennie also made our lives so much easier by sending our marriage application via certified mail the day after the wedding! You definitely won't regret using Jennie as your wedding officiant.
