I happened to stumble across Salazar Photo and Film in a New Jersey Brides Facebook group and from the moment I saw their work, I knew that I wanted them to shoot my wedding day! If I could give Salazar Photo and Film all the stars in the world, I would. From the moment we booked with them, they were absolutely incredible to work with. We traveled from out of state for our wedding which made details a little bit complicated, and they helped us through every step of the way. We were unable to meet them until our actual wedding day since we came from out of state, and from the moment we met them, it felt like we had been friends with them our whole lives! Spending the day with them was FUN! They are a husband and wife duo, and their chemistry is unmatched. There is something about watching two people with such amazing chemistry and love have fun on your wedding day that really sets the mood for the entire day! We also did not have a day-of coordinator for our wedding day, and they absolutely took on the role of timeline coordinators with ease, ensuring that everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. I didn’t have to worry about a thing with their help! I got my preview album back within a week and I was so impressed with the work that they had already completed! I cannot wait to see the rest of my photos. They are VERY reasonably priced for the work that they do and the attention that they bring to their clients! Oh, and did I mention that Oscar (husband in the husband and wife duo) had brain surgery the MONDAY before my FRIDAY wedding and still insisted on coming out to shoot my wedding?! We had our wedding 9/8/23 and Salazar Photo Film has truly left me in awe with our wedding photos!! The team did such an amazing job and they put their heart and soul into each couple they work with. Oscar and Loance are a power couple!! They are genuine, kind hearted, down to earth people that love what they do and you can see that in all of their work.

Please please please use Salazar Photo and Film for your wedding day photographers/videographers!!! My experience with them was beyond what I could have hoped for! Oscar and Loance both went above and beyond to make sure our experience was absolutely perfect, there was nothing I would have changed! We did our engagement photos with both Oscar and Loance, my husband was so nervous about posing and looking too stiff, but both of them made us feel so at ease, and helped to pose us so we looked effortlessly amazing! They kept us laughing the whole time, and it was just such a fun experience. On our wedding day, Oscar and his crew were incredible. They jumped right into getting all their shots done at our house before the ceremony. Within minutes of meeting them, my mother pulled me aside asking “Sophia where did you find them, They are seriously amazing”. Because she was already in awe of how efficient and talented they are. She was stunned. I had myself plus 11 bridesmaids, my godmother and my mother at the house, and he was able to wrangle us all for pictures so quickly, and get everything done so efficiently it blew my mind. None of us had to feel like we were standing around for hours waiting for photos. At the ceremony and reception everything continued perfectly. I haven’t gotten all our photos back yet, but the ones we did blew me away. It was everything I had hoped for them to be, and they captured everything I could imagine. For the bridal party photos, Oscar was amazing at once again wrangling our huge bridal party and family, and getting every shot in quickly and easily. One of my bridesmaids was almost 8 months pregnant, and he was able to get all his shots in quickly so she didn’t have to stand outside in the heat. More than anything, I so appreciated the friendly attitude and flexibility of this company. I never once felt like I was being an inconvenience, and I felt like any concerns, questions or changes I had were heard. The staff at our venue was causing some issues, and my maid of honor witnessed Oscar standing up to the event coordinator to make sure everything we had been promised from the venue would happen. I can not express how much I appreciated that, it truly felt like they were there to back us up and make sure our day was so perfect. I would recommend this company 1,000 times over. They exceeded all expectations. So many guests commented on how fun and bubbly Oscar was, and they all love the photos. Thank you so much Oscar and Loance for all you did to document our special day and make us feel so well taken care of. You guys are the absolute best!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I cannot say enough about this amazing wife & husband team. If I could give them a million stars I would. During our initial meeting, I went over everything we were looking for, photo, video, and a photo album. Oscar and Loance help put together an amazing package for us that suited our needs. After we signed our contract, we communicated every few weeks to check in. They were always VERY responsive and if they didn’t have an answer to my question right away, they would send a text or a short email acknowledging my question and that they would circle back; it was never longer than 24 hours that they would respond to my question. They have an excellent online portal that houses all your conversations, the contract, payments and allows you to upload pictures to share with them. I loved that everything was in one place, it made it very easy for us. Oscar, Loance and their team were extremely professional day of. They have a full grasp on the day and all the emotions that your wedding day comes with. They are excellent at reading the room, have a calming energy and know when to turn it up. They make it a point to befriend the rest of your wedding party and any other VIPs you may have, which in turn, makes everyone very comfortable around the camera. What drew me to them is their style. While there are posed pictures, a lot of what they do is capture the natural candid moments. There is a great shot of one of my bridesmaids and I that I sent to her, and she said “This is so great! I don’t even remember taking this photo” to which I responded, ‘that’s exactly why I went with them’. Oscar and Loance made our day so much fun without overstepping. The day after our wedding, we were flooded with texts and calls saying how amazing Oscar, Loance and their team was. We cannot thank them enough for capturing so many amazing moments that we will cherish forever! Thank you Oscar & Loance!!!

Five stars does not truly capture how incredible Salazar Photo-Film is!! They stepped in at the last minute to film our wedding and honestly, I wish we had known about them at the start of our vendor search. Their prices were reasonable considering the time spent day of as well as the quality and product they deliver. Oscar was detail oriented, creative, and super fun the entire day! I didn’t know that taking pictures could feel so comfortable and easy but with Oscar & Loance behind the camera it truly is. I remember the first time I talked to Oscar, within about 30 seconds I KNEW he was the photographer for us. I saw the work he had on this website plus his IG, BUT his personality is what makes him shine. Oscar is the most patient and kind photographer ever. He is very good at guiding (we are a little bad at taking posed pictures) the best part is this is a husband & wife team so they just do the pose themselves so you can see what it should look like. The pictures that they take are out of this world!! I don’t know how they do it with the sunlight in certain areas of the photos they always come out looking like they belong in a magazine. I love how Oscar & Loance listen to everything you ask for, they even ask if there are any shots that you would like on top of the beautiful shots they are planning on. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with our photography team. My husband and I can’t stop talking about how amazing they are. I wish there was an option for more than 5 stars!!

From arriving early to get some extra shots, to bringing an additional shooter and even a DRONE for aerial pics, they were going (literally) above & beyond in any way they could, and our photos turned out beautifully.
