Choosing Camp Hideaway as our venue was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. It is absolutely stunning and being able to stay on the property made things so much less stressful. We rented the property for the entire weekend and had friends staying in all of the yurts. This allowed us to spend extra time with our guests throughout the weekend Catherine and Anna were super nice and helpful throughout the process. The only callout I have is that I would get everything in writing; there were a couple of times where we were told one thing in person/on a call and then later told something different via email. Other than that, I really loved our experience and would definitely recommend this venue!

They went above and beyond to advocate for us, handle every unexpected challenge, and ensure that our vision came to life. If a Texas Hill Country wedding is what you are looking for, Camp Hideaway in Fredericksburg, TX, may be just the venue for you. With scenic views of the countryside and a farmhouse-style event space, it is the perfect backdrop for any celebration. With 14 comfortable options for lodging during your stay, the Ranch House, the Sunrise House and our 12 tent suites, you will have access to the wonderful facilities this venue has to offer while accommodating up to 42 of your guests onsite. Each of our 12 suites features 400 sq/ft of living space built on a 1,000 square foot wrap around deck, with bathroom, a/c, and heat. Eight of the suites are couples suites for two guests with a king bed; four of the suites are family suites for four guests, with a king bed and two day beds. Situated on 25 acres of land, Camp Hideaway invites guests to enjoy nature and hiking trails, fishing in the pond, stargazing at night, and viewing local wildlife. There are also plenty of attractions nearby to explore, like the 290 wine trail, the historical town of Luckenbach, and Enchanted Rock State Park. Camp Hideaway can host up to 200 people for weddings. The ceremony site boasts panoramic views of the surrounding area, ensuring that the pictures memorializing the moment will look stunning. Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour in the patio or the outdoor lounge and warm up by the fire feature. With three garage-style doors to bring the outside indoors, couples can get the best of both worlds in the event hall. The open-plan nature of the space provides versatility with a setup for both dining and dancing. Large windows let natural light in and ensure that the view is always available. ied that it would either be terribly cold and rainy or sunny. We were able to come up with a Plan A and a Plan B which was really nice. We lucked out with the weather and the reception was just gorgeous. The venue itself was stunning!!!! It was well taken care of and we had little to no issues whatsoever. The staff is on time, super friendly, and allowed us to come by a lot throughout the time we were planning to view the venue. The venue itself also has lots of unique photo opportunities. We were also able to open all the garage doors on the venue later in our reception which made the space so much bigger. I would 100% recommend this place as venue!

The bride and groom had thier ceremony outside overlooking the hill country. The cocktail hour was on the outdoor space with beautiful couches, chairs and cocktail tables. It was gorgeous! Then the brides vision came to life inside the reception area with dramatic draping, romantic candles and organic flowers beautifully arranged! taff was top notch and super easy to work with. We had to move the ceremony inside at the last minute due to rain, and they made it happen and then removed all the chairs quickly for the reception. One of the best parts was the new ranch house that is right next to the venue. It has 4 bedrooms and a large living/dining area. My daughter and her bridesmaids stayed there the night before the wedding and used the dining area for hair & makeup. We had all the bridesmaids, groomsmen and families hang out at the house before the wedding and it made everything easy and relaxed.

r experience. Kelsey, Ollie, and team were super responsive and accommodating of all our requests and questions. We made multiple trips pre-wedding to view the venue and setup, and the team was always happy to help us out. The venue itself was beautiful, and its location was perfect for our guests. It's close enough to Main St. Fredericksburg that your guests can stay in town and be shuttled to the venue, and it's tucked far enough off the beaten path that you're truly experiencing the hill country views at their finest. We had some close family stay at the ranch house on the property for the weekend, and everyone loved it! We would absolutely recommend Camp Hideaway for your big day.

te with. We loved the big white and airy venue with large ceilings, large windows everywhere, and of course the indoor outdoor feel that the garage doors brought to the venue. We also loved staying at the beautiful ranch house on the property that offered convenience to us the whole wedding weekend. Camp Hideaway was such a beautiful venue that didn’t need much decorations because it was perfect just the way that it was and nothing beats a hill country sunset. I would definitely recommend to everyone and would love to stay at the ranch house in the future!

I can't say enough good things about Sunset Ranch! Due to the ice storm, my original venue wasn't able to host my wedding anymore, so I called Vicki 10 days before my wedding, and ...

by some miracle they were available to host my wedding! She was so empathetic to my situation and did everything she could to help ensure my wedding day turned out to be flawless. Lisa the site manager is also super sweet and wonderful to work with. The kindest people to work with and they genuinely care about your day being perfect. The Ranch itself is beautiful - the clean white reception hall is the perfect blank canvas for all of your floral dreams. The ceremony site is beautiful with the water fountain, astro-turf instead of grass, and the endless view of rolling Texas Hill Country hills. There are deer on the ranch and they even ran by in the background right as my ceremony began! And i can't forget to mention the sunset.. the place is absolutely breathtaking when sunset hits (guess it's called Sunset Ranch for a reason right?!). My wedding guests also complimented me all night on how beautiful the ranch was. My husband and his guys absolutely loved the groom's suite too - it's huge! It's also extremely close to downtown fredericksburg so it was an easy commute back and forth since we were all staying at hotels there. Highly recommend having your wedding at Sunset Ranch. You will not be disappointed!

unset Ranch are the most accommodating and hands on that we have ever witnessed throughout the year long journey of planning. From the first initial meeting to all of the meetings in between, the owners were amazing and made us feel like our day would be everything and more we spoke about. Even the day before, Vicki was on location ready to help, arrange, or change anything that needed to be done (we had the fear of rain). She even came in frequently on my wedding day to check in with me and see if I needed anything. A card and bottle of champagne in hand, Vicki was so sweet and made sure my day was more than I could have ever imagined. Our photos are truly amazing because of all of the details Sunset Ranch and the owners have created. The views definitely speak for this location...but the white walls, fountain, balconies, fire pit area are all just a few spaces that make this place a bride and groom's dream for photos. I also really appreciated having a groom's suite and bride's suite on location. Not enough venues factor this important detail in. Our wedding party was more than comfortable during this long day. The entire layout makes sense and truly flows for your evening. I cannot recommend this venue enough. You will not be disappointed in this partnership. They will listen to your vision and add to your vision with amazing ideas. We are forever appreciative of their hard work and dedication. One of most beautiful venues that you can find in the Hill Country with the best views! Due to COVID we made the tough decision to move our wedding to Fredericksburg from Colorado....

Long story short I had to re-plan my wedding in the time frame of 3 weeks and choose all new vendors. We contacted Vicky quickly and she went out of her way to make our intimate wedding happen! Our wedding was even better than we could imagine and Vicky made sure to be super accommodating to our needs the day of our wedding. Sunset Ranch Event Center was the perfect look for the style of my wedding! The blank white space gives you so much room to let your creativity come alive.

sits up at the top of the hill and has a beautiful view over the hill country. It’s beautiful during the day and at night, seriously. We held our ceremony outdoors on the lawn and the reception inside. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how great the location was. Actually, they’re still talking about it! There are many other pros to this venue such as: 1. It includes the tables and chairs, which is a plus for any couple 2. Vicki, the owner, is the absolute best! She was always there to answer any questions we had 3. The bridal and groom suite are awesome! My husband and the groomsmen loved everything about the groom suite. The balcony, decor, poker table, mini bar. 5. The gave us the sweetest card and gift on our wedding day 6. The cleanliness and open concept of the whole venue If we had to do it again, we would choose this venue every time. It holds a special place in our hearts!!

ams come true. The venue lawn (where we had our ceremony) has gorgeous views of the hill country and the inside space was perfect for our 200 guests. I BIG perk of this venue is all the chairs / tables included, we only had to rent 2 farm tables for the dinner buffet. All in all, an amazing venue!!!

w flexible and accommodating Mark and Vicki are, especially as we navigated the way of learning new things together as new vendors and soon-to-be husband and wife. It’s rustic with a touch of modern. Crisp, clean lines add elegance to the two styles which work in perfect harmony. I, personally, have never seen that before, and it’s truly amazing. Now that we have broken it in, per se, I can say that the future looks bright for this hilltop gem and any couple/ person looking to have a one-of-a-kind experience to create lifelong memories at a great venue and location.
