Gisela was so great to work with! Our cake was beautiful and so delicious! Highly recommend.
Gisela was so sweet and wonderful to work with. She was professional and responsive every step of the way. She even offers cake tasting boxes to help decide what flavor combination...
s you like (though they are all delicious and therefore it doesn’t make it easy to choose). She was able to create an incredible cake for our wedding that was somehow both simple in its design, yet bursting with personality by incorporating our wedding colors and small Mickey Mouse shapes in gold that show off our love for Disney. Not only was it beautiful to look at, but it was delicious as well! She even created a small anniversary cake and delivered it prepackaged and ready to freeze for our 1 year anniversary.
I did only have one negative thing as far as feedback. We did have a big drop in our guest count that definitely affected the serving size. I contacted Gisela to update her on the small amount of guests but she recommended keeping the serving size the same. In the end, we wound up having way too much cake left over and we couldn’t eat it all before we left for our honeymoon so we had to throw it away 😭 Had we changed the serving size to reflect the smaller number like I wanted, we probably could’ve saved a little money and wasted way less cake. However, all in all we LOVED working with Dessert Designs by Gisela.

eaks for itself. All I did was send her photos of what we had in mind, and she made it happen. Her work is meticulous. She clearly takes a lot of pride in what she obviously loves doing. e for our large wedding and it was exactly what I visioned it to be! She also created the cupcakes and designed sugar cookies. I gave her a few ideas and told her to do what she thought was best and boy did she! She created magical desserts that paired so beautifully with our decor and the mood of our wedding! Not only was everything just beautiful but delicious, what is dessert without being yummy too? Well she nailed it. All the guests were obsessed and we should've tripled our order for guests to have thirds and fourths haha! I am working with Gisela now for a birthday cake! She is definitely my go to, I will not shop elsewhere! She is such a sweet soul and amazing at what she does!

r our guests to choose from. Gisela makes it easy to decide on flavors with her sample box where you can combine flavors to try them all out. She's super easy to communicate with and was able to capture exactly what we were looking for - the cake looked exactly like the example pictures, tasted delicious, and was the perfect centerpiece for our dessert table. Would absolutely use her again for future events and would recommend anyone interested in amazing desserts reach out to her!

dvance when her tasting boxes would be available when we weren't available for a sooner date. Our red velvet cake was one of the best we've ever had (we actually stopped after cutting at the wedding and brought extra pieces back to our table) and the cheesecake shooters were a huge hit as well! 10/10 and will be recommending to everyone I know!! Thanks Gisela!!

flavors for me that she typically doesn't offer on her website. We had mini cupcakes, dessert shooters, chocolate covered pretzels and custom sugar cookies. We had verrrry little leftover as all of our guests had several helpings and were raving about everything. My husband and I were smart enough to get a taste of everything before our guests so we could savor all of the treats. :) Gisela was kind, thoughtful, easy to communicate with and delivered and set up our dessert table in a flash. I highly recommend her for your wedding or event!

harleston doing our other wedding planning. We got to choose 4 flavors to try and were blown away by the White Chocolate Raspberry. Our cake at the wedding was so beautiful! Gisela arranged the flowers on the cake for us and it looked like a photo straight from a Pinterest page. We've all had cake at a wedding that looks beautiful but tastes just ok, right? This cake was NOT that, it tasted even better than it looked! We had multiple people telling us this was the best wedding cake they've ever had. On top of the quality of the cake itself, Gisela worked with me through the rescheduling of our wedding during the pandemic even while having to reschedule her own wedding. She's amazing to work with and her cakes are incredible!

. My husband and I both agreed it was the best cake we had ever had. We had a 12 hour drive home and were not willing to leave the remaining cake behind. We traveled with it and it’s in our fridge and I do not expect it to last very long at all. Use Gisela for your wedding or special event!!! #SupportLocal

ding cake back in November of 2017. It was literally my dream cake! We had a beautiful semi-naked butter cream cake with sweet raspberry filling. My guests could not stop raving about how good it was. We loved it so much that my husband and I ordered a mini cake after the wedding to enjoy for ourselves. I also used Gisela for my girlfriend's bridal shower cookies. Everyone at her bridal shower at first did not want to eat any of the cookies because of how pretty they were, but then could not stop eating them because of how delicious Gisela's sugar cookies were. I write all these good things to also say that she is affordable!!!!!! That is a big part when budgeting for a wedding. You want to make sure that you have the best quality and can afford the best quality. Gisela surpassed my expectations in both categories. I love supporting small businesses and will continue to support Gisela for all my future events.
