French Hen Farm

g we had hoped for—and more. The ceremony and reception spaces were absolutely stunning; you can see the love and care they’ve poured into every corner of the property. Linda and Phil brought such a calming presence to the day. They were so kind and attentive, and I’ll always remember the little moments with Linda throughout the day—gentle reminders to pause, breathe, and truly take it all in. That encouragement helped me stay grounded and present during one of the most important days of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for that. Our guests loved the beautiful outdoor area, especially the plentiful seating and yard games that made relaxing after the ceremony so enjoyable. The bridal suite was a dream—comfortable, well-appointed, and stocked with not only everything we needed, but even things we didn’t know we’d need. The groom’s suite was equally thoughtful and such a wonderful touch that added to the joy of the day. Linda and Phil were also so welcoming and supportive to all of our vendors, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. Their dedication, warmth, and incredible attention to detail made the entire experience feel effortless. We are beyond thankful to have celebrated our wedding at French Hen Farm. It was everything we dreamed of and more—an unforgettable day in the most beautiful setting, made even more special by the amazing people behind it.

unication was always clear, they made sure we had everything we needed, and on the wedding day they were very hands-on while somehow managing to blend into the background so the day felt completely ours. Phil officiated our ceremony and did a wonderful job — short, sweet, and perfectly tailored to us. He even allowed us to make any changes to his script so it truly reflected our style. Linda worked her magic decorating — always asking my preferences before making decisions, and creating a space that was beyond beautiful. Having all the décor included saved us so much time, hassle, and money. I didn’t have to search for items, wonder what looked good together, or stress about setup. About a month before the wedding, they even schedule a full walkthrough to review décor, table settings, the timeline, and to answer any last-minute questions. On the day of, Linda and Phil went above and beyond — even wiping rain off all the guests’ chairs moments before the ceremony. They handled lighting changes, table moves, and guest assistance without us ever needing to ask. Their experience really showed; they knew exactly what was coming next and had it handled. Our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and how comfortable the spacing felt. The barn and property are absolutely stunning, and in late July the gardens were in full bloom — endless opportunities for incredible photos. The venue comfortably holds 100–110 guests, has AC, and includes access Friday through Sunday until noon, so we didn’t have to find another space for our rehearsal dinner. Both the bridal and groom’s suites were spacious, air-conditioned, stocked with a mini fridge and an emergency kit. There’s also a photobooth, firepit, and yard games included. You can choose from their recommended vendors or bring your own. The property offers plenty of parking to accommodate your guest count, is very easy to get to, and is just 10 minutes from Marysville, where there are plenty of hotel options. If you reserve a room block at certain hotels in Marysville and mention the venue, they’ll even provide a free round-trip shuttle for your guests — a huge bonus! Linda and Phil truly made the entire weekend stress-free so that we could relax, enjoy, and take in every memory. From their thoughtful touches to their expert coordination, they made our day absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue run by genuinely wonderful people who care deeply about making your wedding unforgettable, go check out French Hen Farm — you won’t be disappointed!

it was so much easier not having to do that part. Our day was so special and so perfect and I truly believe it wouldn't have been that way if we had not choose french hen farm and to work with Phil and Linda. If you have a chance to havr your wedding there do it... you will not regret it.

d care that our wedding was a success. The original tour of the venue/property was very informative which led to an easy "yes" to the venue. Then we were able to pick decorations (included!) and had the freedom to ask Linda to bring our vision to life. Linda made our vision work with our colors, and everything worked so well together. We had a design meeting before the wedding, and then came to the venue Friday night before the wedding to be absolutely blown away. Very unique, we were able to access the venue Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The property is open for photo opportunities, making for amazing shots. Vendor suggestions helped us pick out vendors familiar to the property for a smooth day. I cannot recommend French Hen Farm enough. Go visit, feel the love, support, and opportunity that your special day will become.

chandeliers, pond, weeping willow tree, the decor... everything was beautiful! My family and friends especially loved all the outdoor activities, since none of us are really big on dancing. 10/10!!!

utifully. Phil and Linda were exceptionally accommodating, ensuring that our day was nothing short of perfect. Linda's decorations added a magical touch, making it the most beautiful day we could have imagined. They handle so many details behind the scenes, which made the day run so smoothly. The bridal suite was an ideal space for the girls to get ready, and the groomsman suite provided a great spot for the guys to relax and prepare. Overall, the experience at French Hen was nothing less than fantastic!

ouches beautiful. Big events are stressful enough, make it the perfect day by booking French Hen Farm.

hristmas wedding. The service was always prompt, professional and sincere. We selected a list of décor items from an extensive curated collection, did a walk-through shortly before the event to see the decorated venue and discuss the wedding timeline, and showed up for our big day ready to go. The spaces for the wedding parties to get ready were perfect, the event went flawless, and at the end of the night we had several guests comment how the venue looked like it belongs in a magazine or a Hallmark movie. Thank you, French Hen Farms, for making our big day an amazing experience!

ut the entire planning process and got to know us as a couple. My husband and I often talk about how great it was to get to know them. They have everything you could want and more when it comes to your decor. They have it organized in a catalog that makes it very simple for couples to go through and pick out what they like. The bridal and grooms suites are to die for, very spacious and inviting! French Hen Farm was the perfect place to get married.

ur dreams. They went above and beyond our expectations! I would recommend this place to everyone. Our guests loved the venue and of course we did as well! We can’t thank them enough for giving us the most magical wedding day!

because of their evident passion and commitment, as well as the affordability. Their included "something borrowed" rentals for decorations and set-up was such an incredible perk! The indoor/outdoor venue is SO beautiful and they made sure everything went smoothly for the best day ever. Thank you Phil and Linda!!

d handled even the smallest details with care. They made sure to check in regularly and were so easy to work with, making the planning process a breeze. Their attention to small touches meant so much to our daughter and her groom, ensuring that their special day was nothing short of magical. If you're looking for a picturesque and charming farm venue with exceptional hosts, French Hen Farm is the ideal choice to create unforgettable memories.

stunning and made the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and pictures. We were able to have lawn games and a fire outside for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, and our guests loved it. They had so much fun! Linda and Phil are just the best. They are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met, and you can tell they love what they do - they put their heart and soul into French Hen Farm. They provide a huge array of decorations and more to rent on your wedding day free of charge, and I’ve never heard of another venue doing that! The prop collection is amazing, and it saved us so much time, stress, and money. Linda’s attention to detail and eye for design is unmatched. She created the PERFECT space for us. Our guests have not stopped raving about French Hen and said it’s a wedding they will never forget. Our day was perfect and magical, and I owe a huge part of that to Linda and Phil. Could not recommend this venue more!!

s is super helpful in the early stages of planning. They were always open to help answer questions leading up to the event. They also have a ton of decorations which can help you save money too. Then during the event, they are super helpful in getting everything ready Friday for you to preview your wedding. The guys and the girls have separate spaces to get ready with no chance of seeing each other. It’s a perfect space for an outdoor venue and they’re super nice people. You won’t regret picking French Hen Farm as your venue.

l and Linda were always happy to answer our questions, provide advice, or just check in on us during that time! This was especially crucial as we live out of state. They are some of the most wonderful people we have ever met, let alone worked with. Honestly, having our wedding at FHF was an absolute DREAM, and much of that was due to Phil and Linda. The always accommodated our schedules so we could visit while in town, they recommended vendors, and they were so very responsive in all communications. We can never thank them enough or speak enough kind words about them!!!

d for my husband and I to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. All of the props, decor, signage, linens, tables, chairs, etc. was included in the rental. We truly only had to bring a handful of things and even when there were things we forgot and did not think to have, Phil and Linda had an answer for it all. This was amazing for us as it made it so much less stressful. It’s an incredibly beautiful venue with owners who make you feel like family. We cannot recommend French Hen Farm enough.

r just got married there last night and they made all her vintage dreams come true. Haeley has always been a vintage girl and they have everything you would ever need to make it a perfect day. Onsite items to top Any venue.... The French Hen is Perfect!!!

y were super responsive to any questions we had right up until and even after the wedding. The decor they provided was absolutely stunning. Linda even gave us a suggestion on how to elevate the look even more! They were there during the event to help in any way we needed. We had a threat of rain that morning, but Linda and Phil made us feel it was no issue, and they would make it beautiful even if we had to go indoors. When we were looking over pics afterwards, they even left us a sweet pic in our selfie gallery. Please do not look any farther if you still haven’t decided where to have your wedding! You will absolutely not be disappointed to have your event here.

ve, it was all beautiful. From the start the couple were extremely helpful. You can tell they really enjoy helping other couples get their wedding together. The ceremony outside was set up perfectly, along with the fire pit (which TONS of my family enjoyed), the reception was just stunning, even the bridal suite was stunning. They have thought of everything! They were there to help us all along the way and I really appreciated that. Even after the wedding they helped us search the yard outside to find a missing item! AMAZING people and AMAZING venue.

e and beyond to make sure my day was absolutely perfect. The barn is so clean and beautiful with chandeliers hanging throughout the entire venue. There is a breathtaking space up in the loft for the bridal party to get ready- seriously so beautiful. Their property is also so amazing! They have the most gorgeous foliage and pond- pair that with their country sunset…. The most dreamy back drop for your wedding evening. They also have so many signs and decor pieces that you can rent to make your wedding planning less stressful. They also made set up/tear down so easy as they helped so much with this process. If you are looking for beautiful venue, with wonderful owners, and want your wedding to be as stress free as possible…. Look no further! The French Hen Farm will make all of your wedding dreams come true!

g the chandeliers brought so much class we did a rustic theme in the barn it was perfect the outside bar the fire pit the pond the Willow tree the yard games and especially the little photo booth they do everyone got pictures from it and we even got them so it was fun to go back and look on and see all the joy people were having other than from a photographer. It gives a setting of formal but informal it was perfect. I can't say enough good things if you're looking for the perfect wedding go there. Oh and let's not forget our guests they had A-blast all they have done is comment how wonderful the place was and how beautiful everything looked

tremely helpful, and all-around amazing hosts. The venue itself is stunning, well kept, and offers a large variety of decorations and beautiful flora. Absolutely amazing!!

ean. Everyone was comfortable inside with A/C and outside (we rented a 20 foot tent) outlets available everywhere. We rented their photo ring, got so many good shots of people that we didn’t catch in other pics. Loved this! Phil officiated the wedding, nice and caring guy put a lot of heart into the ceremony. Linda’s decorations were awesome to pick from and convenient that she assembled them and takes them down too. Lots of space to store ice bags for bartender. Cute galvanized buckets for drinks. I can’t say enough about this magical place! Their last dance was in the corn crib and it being lit with lights was a dream :)

ace we wanted to have our special day. The venue was beautiful and Phil and Linda were so helpful and accommodating through the whole process- they for sure went above and beyond. You can tell weddings are their passion and I would recommend them 10 times over!

ndeliers. Top picks about the venue from me (the bride) was the bridal suites, the chandeliers, and all the beautiful rental pieces available. My husband’s favorite things were the grounds (the beautiful views/fire pitt) and all the help the owners offered throughout the day. Phil and Linda kept saying they wanted to make sure it was our “best day ever” and it was that and so much more. Also- Phil was our officiant and he blew everyone away. I could go on and on about this venue. If you can, book them. You will have your best day ever!!!

vision come to life and I cannot thank them more. From providing couples with 3 days of setup/wedding/teardown to a beautiful array of rentals, they helped us create a magical environment. If we had to do it all over again we would choose French Hen Farms 100 times over. Much love, The Spurlocks

big day special. They were professional, accomodating in every way, kind, and had everything we needed for our day to run smoothly. They worked well with our vendors and were around throughout the weekend for whatever we needed which was crazy helpful. I can't wait to go back someday for an anniversary party.

f the way! The property itself is just beautiful and really well taken care of. The Barn is simple, elegant and classy. They did add some signs about Covid/social distancing/mask rules ect. however they did it in such an adorable way!! Having been married for a few years now I can't even express how nice it was having the venue for the entire weekend and not having to rush around. The bridal sweet upstairs was the icing on the cake. Seriously if you're looking for an amazing venue with people who actually care about making your day special book here! :)

rmal as can be due to Covid-19 and the new restrictions and guidelines. We started planning with them last fall and had our wedding scheduled for May 2020. Due to the pandemic, we had to reschedule. We are overjoyed that we rescheduled with French Hen Farm for June 2020. They supplied hand sanitizer for all our guests and made beautiful COVID-19 regulation signs that matched the venue. The day of the wedding, they both lended a helping hand with final touches. They were so patient and welcoming as we were planning and let us visit the venue a few times with family from out of state and they never acted as they were bothered in any way. The venue includes the entire weekend of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The cost of this was so reasonable we thought it was too good to be true! We held our rehearsal dinner here, had the day to decorate on Friday, had the wedding Saturday and cleaned up on Sunday. Phil and Linda never treated us as “just another event” and we’re such a pleasure to work with. We have gained two new friends and had a beautiful wedding at their venue. Thank you Phil and Linda if you are reading this, from the bottoms of our hearts! ❤️😊
