Amanda and her team are the best! They were patient, kind, and really listened to what I was saying. Every bride needs to come here! They had a wide variety of selections and really helped me find the dress of my dreams.

I had the best experience at Avenir; other bridal salons I went to were also wonderful, but something about the intimacy of Avenir made everything feel more personal and curated to my comfort being key. Amanda was fantastic to work with; she was helpful without being overbearing, offered her opinion if asked but never in a manner that overstepped, and made it very clear that she was there to make me feel and look my best. She very much followed my lead and let me think out loud and process without ever making my feel rushed - she really understood the gravity of the decision I was making and did everything to make it less anxiety inducing and more of what it should be - fun! I would highly recommend Avenir to anyone on their wedding dress journey.

She understood my vision, what I was looking for, and stayed in my price range. It was a perfect experience. Dresses are beautiful and they have so many to choose from. I worked with Amanda and she couldn’t have been a more perfect match! She was absolutely wonderful with me and my bridal party. Extremely professional, very attentive and listened to all of my concerns or desires with the dresses. She pulled exactly what I was looking for and even though I was very indecisive about designs she was very sweet in helping me pick out dresses and narrow down to the one! The store is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, and all of the staff were just so nice. I had a really bad experience at a big brand retailer and my experience at Avenir was the opposite. It was warm, welcoming, no pressure for sales and staff who genuinely want to help you pick the dress for you. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

What a beautiful experience! I went here when my best friend bought her dress… and couldn’t shake how great they were. They were a first choice to visit after I got engaged- and it was as amazing as I expected. Amanda was patient, kind, encouraging and had my dress of my dreams picked out for me before I even saw it! The amount of care and consideration that goes into their process to make brides feel beautiful and welcomed is clear. As a more mid-size/plus bride I was nervous about my choices- this location was the first that had more than just 3!!! My options actually were more than 10+! I felt ten times more beautiful than when I arrived, and I’m counting down the days until my big day. Great staff. Quick response. Heart warming experience. Avenir Bridal Boutique was my first bridal gown shop to visit + shop for my wedding dress, and I felt very lucky finding my dream dress within that one visit! My experience at Avenir Bridal Boutique exceeded all my expectations! There was plenty of availability to book my appointment and I was contacted prior to my appointment so they could pull dresses that matched my vision. The ladies at the shop are friendly, warm, and welcoming. My mom and I had a blast! We choose the first dress I tried on, which was the dress that was pre-selected by the boutique based on the information I provided them. I can't wait until my dress is in! Thank you for helping me find my forever dress! I had Sarah as my consultant and she was absolutely wonderful. She listened to my feedback for the first few dresses and she found one that met exactly what I was looking for. The option to rent the salon is absolutely the way to go - they let my wedding planner set up a little station for us with some snacks and we had the entire place to ourselves. It was such an incredible experience and I will never forget it. Thank you so much!

I was definitely a very particular bride and Avenir welcomed it every time I went to their shop! They were the 2nd place I went to wedding dress shopping. I was timid with a boutique, but that is exactly what I needed. The one on one and specialized attention to everything is exactly what I needed throughout the entire wedding planning process. They honored a discount I missed because I bought my dress from them after the 2nd time I went their instead of the 1st time. They have a wide variety of dresses and styles and made me feel very comfortable with shopping. I am a plus bride and they had a great selection of plus dresses. If they didn't have your size, they certainly made it so you could fit and look beautiful. Their encouragement was wonderful! They also have great sales, which is where I got all of my wedding jewelry from. They have wonderful package deals to purchase from and they include items I never even considered. Avenir alters and does dress preservation. With me coming from NC, Avenir was extremely patient with me.

Both Sarah and Amanda helped me find the perfect dress! They were both so patient with me when finding a style that suited me best and one that I loved. They made me feel so comfortable and adored and I can’t wait for my dress to come in to start alterations! Highly recommend Avenir for ALL your bridal needs (:

Sarah was very helpful, patient, and kind. The environment was so welcoming and friendly! There were so many different styles for dresses to try on and there’s even options to pay a small fee to order another sample for something you like online. It was a wonderful experience!

1/24/23 - I was a bit nervous with the selection of this store since it looked a lot smaller than other stores. I was also nervous that they did not have a website to browse selection prior too. But let me tell you I had nothing to worry about and I was so wrong! The store is lovely and has the best selection so far in my opinion! Prior to my appointment they reached out and asked for inspiration photos. By this time I had already been to 3 other dress shops prior. I finally had a vision and type of dress I wanted. So when emailing my inspirations I also explained what I was looking for. When you first walk in there is the front desk on the right hand side. Then walking past the desk there is dressing on the right and left side. There is a large mirror in the middle with seating around it. They also have another mirror they adjust for you to be able to see the back of the dress. They also had some other dresses towards the back which I believe are more so for mothers, bridesmaids. There are 2 dressing rooms that I can remember. The dresser room are a nice size and enough space to have help to put on dresses. They were located in the back left of the store. I did not get a chance to look at any dresses on the rack which I was totally fine with. I worked with Sarah and the selections she picked for me were so amazing. They were so great that at the end I had 3 favorites I couldn't decide on. They also were the first store to really have everything I wanted with my dress. Sarah was absolutely amazing! I was so stunned at what she picked out for me. She also was helpful and said areas I didn't like exposed could be filled in/costume. She even took some photos and videos with my phone. My mom was there but her photos can be a bit blurry, lol. The only reason I didn't say yes, just yet is because my mom was the only one there and again I was having a hard time deciding. I have a follow-up with my maid of honors to be there. I cannot wait to return to re-try the 3 dresses I love. I added all the dresses I tried on while there. Either way would highly recommend coming here!

I love the staff at Avenir Bridal. Everyone was nice and welcoming with my mother and I. I loved how they took what I want as a wedding dress into consideration. For me to be. Plus size female who was very insecure about my weight, they made me feel great about myself when I tried some dresses on. I would recommend them to every first time bride. This is the BEST BOUTIQUE to go to in order to find your wedding dress! If you are planning on wedding dress shopping, you ABSOLUTELY need to make a trip to this shop. Amanda, Anzen, and Sarah are amazing and they know exactly how to find your perfect wedding dress!! There was nothing less than the best each time I was at their boutique. Amanda and Sarah not only helped find my dress, Anzen was able to create beautiful custom sleeves to help complete my dream vision! Avenir Bridal Boutique has the most gorgeous gowns to choose from, but these ladies are truly what make this shop exceptional!!

Amanda was absolutely amazing to work with. Even though I didn’t end up purchasing my dress here, this was by far my most successful bridal studio visit in terms of nailing down what fit me best and what I preferred!!! Amanda’s attention to my desires was so appreciated! Definitely worth the trip from the Virginia Beach area to visit them!!

I went into this shop, not knowing what I was walking into. I definitely walked in blind as I did not understand how to work their website lol. Despite that being said, it is not like a David's Bridal. At David's Bridal, you are surrounded by other brides also trying on their dresses. It's loud and noisy and you can hardly think. At Avenir, I was the ONLY bride in the store during my appointment!! And that is not an exaggeration! The organization of the store was also awesome! They had it organized by style and by price. Sarah was my consultant and she was also the sweetest!! Helped me picked out dresses, but was not overbearing and I was not pressured into anything. She was so uplifting and very encouraging. I did find my dress that day at Avenir and all the ladies in the shop were extremely helpful, even when it came to ordering my dress. They told me I should get it hemmed a certain way when they go to order it so I do not lose the design in the bottom of the dress. It was an extra $30 for that but I did it anyways. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know looking for dresses!! They have also helped me setup an appointment for my bridal party to go and try on dresses within the next couple of months. Could not have had or asked for a better experience with Avenir Bridal Boutique!!! :)

I HIGHLY recommend this beautiful boutique to find your wedding dress! The staff was so welcoming and the atmosphere was so wonderful and comfy. The way they have the store sectioned off gives each future bride and her family/friends privacy. Amanda helped me to find my dress and she is absolutely AMAZING! She was actively listening to my likes and dislikes with each dress and would pull dresses based on what I was saying as I was trying them on. She wasn't pushy at all and really cared about being there to help! I can't recommend this place enough!

I love this shop. I have been there 3 times as the bride and once as a guest. Each time my lovely stylist Sarah helped this picky bride discover her vision. She and the shop owner were incredibly patient and kind. Though I did not find my dress there. I would recommend each bride visit for a fabulous experience.

I purchased my wedding dress from Avenir Bridal Boutique this week, and the experience was perfect! Amanda reached out to me ahead of time to ask what dresses I was most interested in, and when I arrived at the appointment one of the dresses on my list that I wasn’t expecting to be available was there for me to try on. I was so excited, and it ended up being the dress I chose for my wedding day. The entire experience was so easy, and it made for a very fun day for me and my mom. I could not recommend this bridal boutique enough for other brides!

Avenir Bridal was the complete best, they listen to what you want, they take there time with you to understand the look your going for and if need be will have you trying on all the dresses in the store until it’s what you want no pressure, it’s definitely something for everyone at Avenir . Wonderful experience! Sarah was so helpful and made me feel like a rockstar in almost every dress I put on. She validated and recognized the things I said I liked and disliked on myself. My mom and MOH started to cry when I put on the dress that I would ultimately say yes to. I started to cry and when I looked back, Sarah was tearing up to. It was exactly like everyone says picking out your dress should feel and I think that’s largely in part from Sarah and the rest of the Avenir team. Thank you for letting me walk around the shop in my dress for thirty minutes after having already put it on three times. So happy to be an Avenir Bride.

I had visited 3 other bridal stores prior to Avenir Bridal, it's easy to compare your experience with other boutiques. I never felt pressure to buy a dress. I personally enjoy the smaller store, the more one on one experience, the calmness. Amanda and Anzen are both so kind and welcoming. Amanda helped pick out my dress and Anzen did my alterations that I requested. I'm using their preservation option, literally a one stop shop for my dress. So convenient and would highly recommend them to any future bride!

I had shopped another bridal store to find the dress of my dreams. The experience I had at the other place wasn't what I thought it would be. I picked a dress that just wasn't me. I was taking my dad for dinner when I saw the boutique. The sign on the door said appointments only. Something told me to go in. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Sara. She had this great vibe and personality that made me wanna set an appointment at the boutique. I shopped around for a few and then set the appointment. The day of my appointment came and I was beyond ecstatic! I had tried on 5 dresses and the very last dress was everything I wanted and more. Sara helped me each step of the way always making sure the appointment was about me and what I wanted. She was so kind and even found the perfect veil to match my dress to a tee! I had the this is the one moment and she was so excited to have it with me. My mother passed away this past June and it was a hard day to buy the dress of your dreams without your best friend. Sara just made everything better. Thank you again!

Amanda and Anzen were the best! We worked with them frequently throughout our wedding planning. Amanda helped find the perfect dress for me… first one I tried on! Both ladies were so kind and helpful while I was choosing my dress that we picked bridesmaids dresses from them as well! Anzen did the alterations for my wedding dress and a few of my bridesmaids and did a fabulous job. I have recommended this shop to a few of my friends and will continue to!! From my first correspondence via email to the follow-ups I receive regarding my gown and veil, Avenir has absolutely nailed it. I'm originally from the Hampton Roads area and currently live in Northern VA. I made the trip down to Chesapeake to select a gown so my mother could be part of the process and Amanda has made the process absolutely worth it. I had no idea what I wanted going into the shop, but the few details I could provide led to me finding the perfect dress. The shop itself is adorable and welcoming! Myself, four bridesmaids, and mother were very comfortable in the dressing area and thank god for Amanda helping me get in and out of so many dresses. She helped me find something that made me feel beautiful and comfortable and I can't thank her and Avenir enough for their warmth and spectacular service!

Beautiful dresses in my price range (around a thousand). This was very hard to find but Avenir is it. I got the princess treatment and found THE dress without spending a fortune. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience visiting the boutique! We were greeted right away and had personal attention the entire visit. I had called ahead because I was looking for a particular dress/designer. The dress and several similar ones were already pulled waiting for me. They even found a dress similar to one I had my eye on online. I am completely torn between two dresses so have not completed my purchase as of yet, but they were so helpful with listening to what I envisioned and then helping me enhance that vision! The best experience I’ve ever had at a bridal store! The atmosphere was lovely, the ladies were so kind and helpful, and they made it such a fun experience. Some bridal stores are stuffy and rude, it was nothing like that here, if you are looking for a fun and special experience while finding your dream dress, this is your place!

Avenir Bridal was the first bridal shop I’ve stepped foot in. I came alone so I could have less interference of opinions. Instantly, Amanda made me feel so welcomed. She was super knowledgeable about plus size gowns and brought me such beautiful options, that it was hard to choose. The ladies here are super pleasant and patient. It was the greatest ambiance to have when finding the perfect dress. Avenir was my one stop shop for finding my dream gown and veil.

This was my first and last shop! Amanda was amazing! Very patient and sweet. She did everything she could to make this a wonderfully special moment for me. She quickly picked up on the style I was looking for and made sure not to waste time on dresses she knew I wouldn’t be interested in. However, her professional opinion helped me change fundamental views I had on certain details of differences between dresses. Thought I wanted off the shoulder sleeves and found out I actually preferred shoulder sleeves....which I was adamant about not having. Definitely 5 starts!

I went to many local bridal shops and by far this was the absolute best.
