Jenny is seriously the sweetest! From the first moment we talked to her on the phone, she was so helpful with all of our questions as we live out of state and didn't know much about this process. We eloped in Breckenridge, but it was the first snow fall in Colorado and we had to change plans, she was quick to point us to a beautiful new location. She was so much fun to work with! We are so blown away by the work/ pictures from our elopement and they are just the sneak peeks! We can't wait to see the rest, I know they will be beautiful. I'm so thankful we found Jenny and appreciate her help/ advise through this whole process! ❤

Jenny photographed our wedding in Beaver Creek, Colorado this past summer. Not only was she so amazing and our photos turned out beautiful, but she was so organized and amazing leading up to the day of! Jenny was so great to work with and all my bridesmaids were raving about how fun and sweet she was! Every single one of our photos captured our day perfectly.

Where do I even begin!? From the very beginning Jenny was the absolute BEST! We were traveling from PA to CO for a week-long vacation & Jenny helped us find the absolute PERFECT location for our engagement pictures! Not to mention she helped me (a very indecisive human 😆) pick the most perfect coordinating outfits! If I could explain our session in a few words, I would describe it as catching up with an old friend. Jenny is the most sweetest & easy going…our entire session felt so natural & so so fun! Even my fiancé who is not too fond of pictures was over the moon happy with our session! After the session, we spent time chatting & watching the sunset…again like catching up with an old friend. Lastly, she promised us some sneak peeks in a couple days, yet totally surpassed our expectations & sent a few photos to us the very next morning!!! Not even 12 hours later. If you are traveling to CO or a local & looking for a photographer, Jenny is your girl! You will not be disappointed!!

Jenny was so incredibly amazing to work with! My fiance and I were traveling to Colorado for the first time (as a trip to replace our original wedding date). We wanted pictures taken to remember our OG date and found Jenny. She was incredibly professional, extremely quick to respond, easy to work with, and soooo pleasant! She was just the sweetest. Since we don't know Colorado at all, she helped us pick out a spot to shoot and answered all of our million of questions. Not to mention, when we got to our spot it was beyond freezing! She stuck with us and even was able to change locations last minute. I am absolutely obsessed with the photos, they are absolutely stunning. We cannot thank her enough. If you are looking at Jenny, you should just book her right now :)

Simply put Jenny was amazing to work with!  Communication was easy and clear, and the entire process from booking through getting access to the photos in our gallery was effortless. Her sense of design and creativity really shows through in all of her photos.  She made us feel comfortable throughout the entire shoot which was definitely unnatural for me.  It was just like having a good friend along for the entire day!  She was also extremely flexible the day of the shoot in extending our shoot to get some amazing additional shots.  Jenny was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer and experience.  Thanks so much again Jenny!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Jenny. From our initial perusal of her website to the delivery of our engagement pictures (TWO days later!!!) working with her has been an amazing experience. To start, we loved Jenny’s initial questionnaire when you request information - it made our get-to-know-you zoom call (2020 ya know?) so natural and easy because she already had an idea of who we were and what we were looking for. Jenny was SO helpful when choosing the location for the shoot too - she recommended a couple spots that had great mountain views. When the forecast came in that it was supposed to snow, she went above and beyond. She went to two of the locations early to send us some pictures so we could decide which would be better. Once we met at Hoosier Pass it was like catching up and goofing around with an old friend. Jenny was so easy going and made us feel so comfortable, we forgot how cold our toes were. Going into the shoot I was a little nervous because I am not an in front of the camera kind of gal, Jenny made the whole experience so natural and fun, giving us cues to get good shots but also encouraging an impromptu snowball fight. Not only was our experience of the shoot amazing, but Jenny was also unbelievably speedy in getting us a sneak peek (that same night!) and our gallery 2 days later! We cannot wait to have Jenny shoot our wedding, both for the pictures and the company!

Jenny was incredible! I’ve had to change the date of my photos twice because my husband is in the military and every time she was so willing to work with me. The day of photos was amazing, she made us feel so comfortable and seems so confident in her skills! She is so professional. I didn’t get the greatest photos on my actual wedding day (from another vender) so when I got my gallery from Jenny a week after we took our photos, I cried. I was so happy and still am! Her work is beautiful. I would recommend her to anyone.

Ok I admit Jenny was our friend before our photographer, but honestly she absolutely blew us away with our engagement pictures! We weren't sure if any photographer would be down with the unique high alpine hike we had in mind, but Jenny didn't hesitate to commit to whatever we wanted to make our photos match our vision. On the day of the shoot she was a calming force for our camera anxiety and we somehow opened up and were totally ourselves, which neither of us expected to be able to do! The whole afternoon was just a fun hangout with an old friend. I have no doubt that even if you'd never met Jenny before, she would make you feel this way. When we got our sneak peeks literally the next day, we couldn't stop looking at them and smiling. The quality of light and energy in the photos was next level, and we didn't look awkward at all! You can tell from the photos alone that she really knows what she's doing. If you're looking for an adventure or elopement photographer, Jenny is for you!

I am not one to typically write reviews, but I hope this is helpful for any engaged couple looking for a wedding photographer. You do not need to look any further! Jenny Smiley is your girl. She is talented, creative, extremely thoughtful, playful, easy-going, organized and calming. She truly cares about her clients and deeply loves this profession which shows in how she represents herself and from the work she produces. In my opinion, Jenny can also handle anything! She has conquered this COVID-19 2020 year with grace and ease. For my wedding, Jenny was there from when we planned our first original traditional wedding (before COVID-19) to helping us wrap our heads around a different wedding, due to COVID-19, and putting together a plan for our new elopement wedding. Her experience with both weddings and elopements greatly calmed my anxiety because she helped to nail down moments in our timeline to capture elements of both the traditional wedding I’d always dreamt about, and the intimacy of an elopement with just close family and friends. And boy did she capture just that!! And to top it all off, she sent us our wedding gallery early and on my birthday! Such a thoughtful gift. We are so IN LOVE with them - they bring happy tears to my eyes. Jenny Smiley is a key component in making our special day. We are forever thankful. <3

Working with Jenny was exciting and seamless from start to finish. During our first conversation, I expressed my concerns to tell our families about our decision to have an intimate adventure wedding. She sent a few helpful articles that walked through different ways to have the discussion with your family and how to make them apart of your day even though they wouldn’t be there. She truly allowed us to have our fairy tale adventure elopement! Jenny was extremely flexible and open to our ideas. We had to make a last-minute location change due to lack of road access and she trusted us on our new choice right away. She was fearless enough to join my now husband and I on a 6-mile hike with an elevation gain of 1,515 feet . . . with all her camera equipment! We all seriously laughed together the entire day. She made us feel so calm and comfortable in front of a camera and captured that MOST magical moments. She even helped me with my veil a few hundred times throughout the day. We just received our gallery and oh my, THE PHOTOS ARE AMAZING!! She really captured the best day of our lives, in the best way! These photos are something that will be cherished forever. If you are looking for a photographer for any occasion, look no further, Jenny is your gal!

Jenny blew me away from the very beginning! She was honestly more helpful and responsive than my wedding coordinator throughout the stress of planning a COVID wedding. She provided amazing suggestions for both our engagement and wedding locations that we LOVED and super comprehensive guides with tips for timelines, what to wear, etc. My now husband was not into the idea of a photographer, but after our engagement session he suggested doing our first dance with just Jenny there after our wedding because he felt so comfortable with her! Our photos are absolutely incredible and I love every single one. You won't be disappointed!

In May we cancelled our large upstate NY wedding due to COVID. For a couple of weeks, the thought of planning a second wedding was too much to even think about. Then, we decided to elope in Colorado and reached out to Jenny to document the day. We were immediately grateful that we did. She was quick to respond, and provided a lot of useful information right out of the gate! Her organized approach helped us to successfully plan the timeline for our big day. The day of, she was early and ready for us when we arrived. She even helped me into my dress! Jenny is a great friend, but even still we were both nervous to have our picture taken. We were immediately at ease with her. Her gentle posing and suggestions along with her artistic eye created better pictures than we could have imagined. Not only do we love them, but our friends and family do to! I would not hesitate to book her again or suggest her to friends and family, or really anyone! With having the last name, Smiley, she couldn’t have chosen a better career. We are so grateful for the role she played in our special day. Thank you, Jenny!!

Jenny was AMAZING!!! We can’t say it enough. You no longer need to keep looking- just book her and you won’t regret it! My fiancé and I decided last minute to do engagement photos while vacationing in Aspen and feel so lucky we literally “stumbled” upon Jenny with a google search and what a gem of a find it turned out to be! She was super quick to respond each time, so friendly and helpful, went above and beyond to make sure we got what we wanted out of our time, planned ahead and made the actual shoot fun! Oh yeah- and got us a sneak peak in less than 24 hours and full gallery in less than a week. Can’t say enough great things about using her :)

We are very happy with our engagement photos and have received so many compliments from family and friends! Jenny was super fun and easy to work with. My boyfriend and I had Jenny take photos for a late anniversary/celebration of our relationship and it was the best experience ever!!! She was so good at making us feel at ease in front of the camera and making us laugh! She was attentive to our desires for the shoot and encouraged us bringing our dog! Jenny is simply amazing!! I truly can't say enough good things about her and our experience with her. Jenny did my engagement photos and I can’t describe how beautifully they turned out. The session was fun and comfortable even for my fiancé that doesn’t like his photo taken. Hire her. You won’t regret it.
