was perfect for our June wedding. It is family owned and run and our experience with the staff was amazing. They were warm and friendly and made us feel like family all weekend. All of our family and friends said the food was exceptional and the atmosphere was so unique. Samantha, our coordinator, helped us with every step of the planning process from start to finish. She made herself available for us as much as we needed. We highly recommend the NHS. Eric and his family are very passionate about their work and made sure every detail was perfect. Overall, we can't say enough good things about this venue and will be back to visit soon!

The entire team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy a stress-free experience. Our coordinator, Samantha, was exceptional from start to finish, and a special thank-you goes to our bridal attendant, Diane, who anticipated every need and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food—both the cocktail hour and dinner were outstanding—and our cake, created by Stefanie, was as beautiful as it was delicious. If you’re looking for a venue with stunning lake views, an all-inclusive experience, and a warm, professional team, we wholeheartedly recommend North Shore House. It’s also an excellent, budget-friendly choice for micro weddings, as it can beautifully accommodate smaller guest counts of 40 or fewer—something surprisingly hard to find. We are beyond grateful to the North Shore team for helping us create a wedding day that was truly unforgettable and perfect!

and helped with quite literally everything we needed. Our entire bridal party is still raving about how helpful she was and how she made getting ready such a breeze. The wait staff and bartenders were so attentive and gracious to us and our guests. They helped us with anything we needed all night long. It's clear that Louise is truly an amazing maître d'. Everything was coordinated perfectly. We are so appreciative of her helping our friends get a ride home and getting the bus company to pick up guests from our smores afterparty early when the rain picked up. We can't not talk about the food. THE FOOD! Everything we ate was so delicious! Hats off to the chef! Our guests have been raving about the food, and not just about one thing, but everything! The lamb lollipops were a hit, and people also loved the pumpkin ravioli and the dumplings. The steak and chicken duet was superb. We've never had steak at a wedding that was so juicy and flavorful. People even shared how much they loved the salad. My husband and I are eager to dine at the restaurant to re-create our incredible evening. Stefanie is a great pastry chef. That cake was incredible. From the decoration to the texture and flavor, everybody told us it was amazing. All the kids kept asking when the cake would come and we're sure they weren't disappointed! We are so glad we decided to do an after-party. The staff made sure it was a fun and chill way to end our night. The inn was so luxurious. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had such fun hanging out in the library late into the night. And what a wonderful spread of pastries, yogurt, and coffee to wake up to. We have to thank Louise again for coming over early in the morning to help us get the last of our things together. Tim was also very helpful during the months leading up to the wedding working with our guests. That was seriously a masterclass in hospitality. Thank you! Samantha is an excellent event coordinator. We can't thank her enough for working with us, answering all our questions, and accommodating our requests. All the details like handling the kegs, vegan/kosher marshmallows, working around the kosher catering, and the endless intricacies of a Jewish wedding. Thank you for accommodating the kosher catering for our guests. I know they truly appreciated it. Everything was just as it should have been and executed with grace and expertise. Thank you for taking such good care of us. We heard from many of our guests that everything from A-Z about this wedding was exquisite and we couldn't agree more. your day special. From day one, communication was top notch. Every single question I asked was answered quickly and most of the time followed by very helpful feedback and suggestions. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and I am so so grateful I discovered NSH on the Nj brides Facebook page. Diana is your bridal attendant and she goes above and beyond to make sure you are fed, relaxed, and have everything you need. The bridal suite is this cute gated area attached to the home where the owners live. It is absolutely adorable and reminded me of a little cottage. I also really loved riding around on that golf cart with Diana :). It’s also great to take a ride if you need to decompress away from the craziness. My coordinator was Emma, who is a literal ANGEL. Emma was so great with communication ( I ask a million questions) and is so organized. She is also the absolute sweetest and I was so happy to have her with me during my special day. I trust her completely and was really stress free because I knew she had everything under control. Besides the amazing staff, the view is gorgeous. The hotel rooms are also so peaceful and VERY clean. The food is absolutely amazing, I received so many compliments and many stated it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had . I typically don’t even eat the plated food at weddings because it’s made in large quantities and isn’t always consistent. However, I ate my filet mignon on my wedding day and it was cooked perfectly. I also received positive feedback on the cocktail hour and dessert. The next morning, we had a simple but very cute send off brunch with the firepits going, boat rides, and some apple cider donuts! It was very fall themed and a perfect ending to a wonderful weekend. All of my vendors also commented on how great NSH is to work with. I recommend this for any bride looking for an amazing celebration with a team who is extremely personable, caring, and down to earth.

the rest of the staff were timely with communication, SUPER organized, helpful with details, and so attentive. Emma was truly a rockstar point person- we can't rave about her enough! The space speaks for itself: the outdoor space perfectly amplifies the natural beauty of the lake, and the indoor space is cozy, warm, and inviting- a perfect place to dance the night away! The food was amazing (must get the pistachio crusted lamb chops), and the wait staff was the most helpful. We have been to the restaurant several times before, so knew the food was delicious, but our guests couldn't stop mentioning how tasty everything was! Some bullet points of things we LOVED: -the hotel rooms are cozy, individual, and inviting, with space for all the hotel guests to chill and hang out -North Shore picked us up from my parent's lake house on the other side of the lake in their 2 pontoon boats, and we had a blast riding to the ceremony -everything was meticulously set up, from the beautiful white chairs to the signs we had made -Can't stress how beautiful the outdoor ceremony was -My husband and I scheduled 5 minutes alone together in the bocce ball quart after the ceremony during cocktail hour, and the staff had pre set a plate of hors d'ouvres and 2 cocktails there for us so we didn't miss any of the food -One of the waitresses told my husband and I at the start of the night that she was going to make sure we ate enough and drank enough water throughout the night- she was so sweet, and several times made sure we had cocktails and champagne. -The dance floor was big enough for all of our friends and family to dance- we were on the floor the entire night! - We used all of the North Shore House's preferred vendors (Platinum Band, Karen's Kreations, Orchard Street photography, Stocker Bus) and couldn't have been happier with their suggestions -We did an after party in the back bar- super fun! If you want a beautiful venue with picture perfect outdoor space, cozy indoor space, delicious food, super helpful personnel, and overall GREAT vibes, book North Shore House!

It was the most beautiful day, made perfect by the gorgeous weather & grounds and the incredibly helpful staff. I can't say enough about how wonderful working with the venue was, everyone on staff from the waitresses and waiters to the owner really put in the extra effort to make the day absolutely perfect for every guest. The hotel the night of was stunning and so comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was fabulous- all around, the best experience any bride could ever hope for. , Emma, and the entire staff truly care about every single detail during every event. We got the "all inclusive" package, which meant we were able to stay at the NSH inn (13 rooms!) for two nights. We had our rehearsal dinner and a welcome party on Saturday, then our wedding on Sunday, and we had a brunch on Monday morning. Beyond it just being the most beautiful venue ever, the people are really what make it so special. They thought of EVERYTHING, and they were always two steps ahead of us. We never, ever felt like they were trying to upsell us, and they never said no to any request we had! They even made challah for all the guests! Guests and vendors came up to me during & after the event to rave about the food and the staff. As a wedding guest, I usually don't even notice the staff, but even my friends and family recognized how attentive and friendly they all were at NSH! If I could give 100 stars to North Shore House, I would.
